I’ve had it for a year, paying 350 Euros. The support is poor, ineffective translations, bogus setup that redirect you traffic trough them. I have yet to receive a response that addresses any issues. They messed up the SSL and domain with nonsensical DNS redirection. I’ll translate this into Spanish to protect Spanish and English-speaking countries from you. Este plugin es una porquería, el soporte apesta, te hacen cambiar los DNS, eso tumba tu sitio, con eso te mantienen cautivo porque si algo sabemos es que los DNS hay que dejarlos en paz a menos que tengas que hacer cambios importantes, para SEO no funciona, los directories que crean a veces jalan, a veces no, entonces no puedes confiar, las traducciones son hechas como por google, por ejemplos Healthcare Makreting es traducido a español a "Centros Sanitarios de Marketing" a ese nivel de poder de traducción te expones.

Exceptional level of support

I found some features of the app not straightforward to use and had problems integrating Weglot in WIX. But the ultra responsive service helped me solve the problems and didn't get tired of explaining everything to a non-tech person like me. Highly recommend as it's working perfectly now!

Great service solving problems

Weglot tech support is providing great customer service solving problems. It's complicated software and problems arise; we expect this. Their tech support jumps right in, communicates well, listens carefully, and problems both the solution and recommends for reading articles they've prepared. I look forward to working with them again!

Horrible, complicated

Impossible à utiliser

L'intégration sur le site n'est pas simple, pas fonctionnelle : je n'ai rien pu faire, j'imagine qu'un professionnel aurait pu le faire, mais pour une option qui deviendra payante, on s'attend à un fonctionnement beaucoup plus intuitif, qui soit un gain de temps et non une perte.

Translating

Can you translate Wix app labels?

Is it possible to translate labels such as "monthly" on the Wix Pricing Plans app for example? Or, the "months" label" in the Wix Booking app?

Great translations!

Translations are very accurate and easy to setup. Had a minor issue with translating "Catagory page" in Wix. But a quick support email to Weglot sorted that within minutes. Great program and great support!

Excellent interface for translation

The AI translation is excellent.On top of this weglot offers a host of functionalities from an intuitive interface with ample help content. Got almost immediate response from support using email.The support was thorouth and it waw emails back and forth much like a chat!

It is so cluggy and haphazard that it is not worth the effort

So many thing that don't quite work as expected. You may just about manage to translate a site with 3 paragraphs and 2 static pages. For anything more, you'll be wasting your time trying to make an app that is not very well developed, work. It sounds promising, but it's nowhere near ready for production. I gave it my best and canceled.

Free version so far so good

I just have a landing page for now for my triathlon online coaching platform. Weglot works for me for now that I am using the free version. I had one interaction with customer support and the experience was very good. The free version is great. Only caveat might be when I want to add a third language and will have to start paying a subscription. I think the service is too expensive for the value that you get. Especially for small businesses.

I want to add that I had a problem with text alignement and not knowing how to use the site properly and the support was very helpful!

Pulled the plug after 6 months of arduous trying and wasted energy - requires huge amounts of labor

Edit: Weglot informed me that issues have been fixed since I left. I haven't verified that myself. I worked with Weglot for about 6 mo English to Finnish & gave up after countless emails back and forth with their customer service. Main (but not all) issues: Translations unstable. Translating Wix Stores components & purchase flow can’t be done. No smart way to manually check automatic translations before they go live - either they are on or off. Code snippets/strings get automatically counted in word count as do duplicate translations. Perfectly good translations automatically removed without notification because they supposedly “expire” if they haven’t been seen by anyone for a certain amount of time but this happens randomly by just random paragraphs on random pages all of a sudden dropping back into the original language. And these translations can’t be turned back on again, they need to be completely recreated. Evasive, elusive, expensive, full of mistakes, very laborious to use.

App isn't working properly - pages aren't being translated and whenever I try to access the settings it just goes to a white page and won't load.

Leicht zu installieren, gute bis sehr gute Übersetzung, lediglich Probleme mit dem & Sonderzeichen, ansonsten auf den ersten Blick fehlerfrei. Der Preis ist jedoch viel zu hoch angesetzt. Als Web Designer fällt es mir schwer, Kunden einen Monatspreis (!) von 79 EUR plus MwSt. zu vermitteln. Insbesondere für StartUps unerschwinglich. Nicht jeder hat gleich zu Beginn einen Millionen-Umsatz wo das dann keine Rolle mehr spielt. Schade! Leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Doesn´t adjust column widths, overpriced and poor translations

I have used the app for the last 8 months, but feel it´s overpriced and a waste of money (30€ a month for 3 languages). The translations are not as a native would translate them and the worst thing about the app is that when you switch languages, to German for example, it doesn´t adjust the column widths, so text that is longer in that language gets bumped onto the next line. I spoke to their tech guys about this and they said there was no workaround. The only way is if you painstakingly go through all text boxes on all pages in the original website language and enlarge them to accommodate the language with the longest words....not worth the hassle, time or money! I have just cancelled my subscription.

Not working properly

App is not showing on Wix when trying to open, it just shows a white screen.

Finger weg!

Vorsicht: nimmt das Design nur beim ersten mal Uebersetzen mit. Anschliessend ist das Design nur in Weglot selber bearbeitbar- mit Code! Völlig unbrauchbar, ist mir ein Rätsel warum diese App überhaupt noch auf dem Markt ist.

Weglot is a superbly useful app if, like me, you need to offer your website in multi-languages. It is a breeze to instal and use, highly customisable for your own translations and, if you need help, the customer support is fast and exceptional. I give this app 11 out of 10. Überraschend gut

Bin erstaunt wie gut das funktioniert. Innert kurzer Zeit auf drei Sprachen übersetzte, wirklich jedes einzelne Wort. Der Support ist auch sehr gut, ohne diese blöden Bots kommt man direkt mir einem Angestellten in Kontakt, der einem inner weniger Stunden schreibt.

effective, easy, good translations

We had the experience translating our website from english to german, the quality of translations are simply great, just need some small adjustments that you can also automize. There are also some tech adjustments if you run dynamic sections, but tech service is simply great and fast, they will let you know how to solve in a few hours. Excellent team there, great experience with Corentin and Valentin, great staff. Extremely recommended.

Probably a good translater but...

I already use wix translator, not easy to translate everything. Weglot is a nice solution (easy to set up), you need to understand to set the position of the switch language button, you need to add a image (blank) and too agraf the language setting on it. After you need to add the language setting for your google reference to your domaine, Sometime, google say is very at your risk to enter in this website (omg) not the best solution for a e commerce. and the final, for 800 euros, is 200,000 word, each time a customer take a look on few website, 1 2 3 4 pages, the counter go up, for 7 pages just for the setup, i pass 20.000 words, imagine the real cost of this fantastic application, 5000$ / years? or more.... More you have customers, more is expensive, very expensive.

Great support

First of all: this app saved and will keep on saving me hours of work. And although something did not function as I thought it would, I am still a happy customer because the friendly app team was on it immediately and solved the issue within the hour.

Great tool

It is an excellent app for my website. It's easy to use, has a simple workflow, and, best of all, it has outstanding support, even on the trial version. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 was the limitation on the free plan. 2000 words are usually not enough for a small website. Maybe 4000 is the perfect sweet spot.

Not great

The app works intermittently and the customer service is very bad. I just need a quick fix to launch my website and the WG team are ignoring my emails!

Great app for my website

The translations are high quality. The team is super helpful to improve dynamic content translations that are blocked by Wix. It's easy to start and test for a few weeks. As for me, I've decided to keep it.

Often the translation doesn't work correctly

Initially I thought this was a great idea, but it did not work for us as expected. With Weglot often we clicked on a language and it only translated half a page or buttons were not translated etc. I have now translated my entire website with a separate URL so I don't need to use Weglot anymore. It is a bit more work, but at least people can see the correct language.

Plugin problems

It has some problems, it makes the site slow and sometimes it doesn't load the page because of the plugin. It's a shame it has problems, I like the plugin, it translates the website well

Not the best for right to left languages

Excellent app that works very well

I have the Pro version and it works well, although there are tricky operations that need some work to it (dynamic links to be managed) for proper translation. But no worries, the support is there for you, great and friendly! They are quickly responsive to assist you and they do it very well with high professionalism! I highly recommend this amazing app!
