Where does the information come from?
App Market Index independently organizes publicly observable information from the Wix App Market. The App directory contains listing details, categories, pricing information and marketplace ratings. Developer pages connect listings to their developer portfolios.
This is an independent project, not an official Wix service or an endorsement by Wix. Names, descriptions and marketplace ratings originate from the marketplace; App Market Index provides its own organization, historical context and analysis.
Is every listing current?
Data reflects what the index has observed and stored. Updates can lag behind the marketplace, and some records or fields may be unavailable. Where an update or snapshot date is shown, it describes that stored data rather than a guarantee of real-time coverage.
Delisted Apps are retained for historical context and marked as no longer listed. Preserved prices and ratings are historical information, not a current offer. Check the linked marketplace listing for availability, current terms and installation requirements.
What do review counts and ratings mean?
Marketplace ratings and review totals describe the figures supplied by Wix. Stored Reviews describe the records observed by App Market Index. These counts can differ: the preserved archive may be incomplete and can include previously observed Reviews that were later reported as unpublished.
A missing record does not mean that an App has no Reviews. An unpublished Review is not, by itself, proof of fraud or misconduct. Reviewer profiles summarize observed activity; they do not verify a person's identity.
How should review-pattern analysis be interpreted?
App Market Index review-pattern analysis is separate from Wix promotion labels, marketplace ratings and verification signals. Pattern indicators describe observable relationships in the available data; they are not a trust score, a purchase recommendation or proof that a Review is fraudulent.
When analysis is pending, stale or missing, current Pattern facts may be unavailable. Unavailable analysis must not be interpreted as a clean bill of health or a negative finding.
How can I compare Apps responsibly?
Start with the App's purpose, requirements, pricing and developer portfolio. Read individual Reviews in context, distinguish current listings from preserved history, and check dates and coverage notices. Do not make a decision from a single rating or pattern label.
