MT: Omnibus Price & EU GARAN

MT: Omnibus Price & EU GARAN is built for Wix Stores merchants who need to show the reference price expected under the EU Omnibus Directive. When a discount is announced, Article 6a of Directive 98/6/EC asks sellers to indicate the lowest price applied during the 30 days before the reduction, and this app is designed to keep that figure current without manual work. Once installed, the app records the price of every product and variant each time it changes and keeps that history on its own servers. On a discounted item it calculates the lowest price over the reference window and adds a line beneath the price on your product page, in the language of your site. It reads your catalogue and never modifies your prices. A dashboard lists the items currently on sale with the reference price calculated for each one, alongside the recorded history, so you can check what visitors see. The wording, the length of the window and the styling can be adjusted, and the line follows the language of your site in the 24 official EU languages. The app also covers the EU guarantee information required by Directive (EU) 2024/825 and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 from 27 September 2026. A short reminder under the price opens the official harmonised notice on the legal guarantee of conformity, in the language of your site (24 EU languages), with the link to the Your Europe page. When a producer offers a guarantee of durability that is free of charge, covers the whole product and lasts more than two years, you can enter its duration, brand and model for that product, and the official GARAN label is shown on the product page. The European Commission artwork is used unchanged. Wix apps cannot edit the checkout page or the order confirmation e-mail, so those two placements remain yours to handle. Product safety information under the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988, Article 19, is included on every plan. Enter your manufacturer once (name, postal address and e-mail) and, when the manufacturer is established outside the EU, the responsible person in the EU, plus any warnings; individual products can carry their own manufacturer, type, batch or serial number and warnings when they differ. A product safety block is then shown on the product page, with headings in the language of your site. The app is a tool intended to help you present this information; decisions about your pricing and your compliance remain yours.
