    The Typerwriter Animation worked Perfectly!

    When I downloaded the application I was able to change the starting text on the main screen, and all the listed items by pressing "manage strings" and refreshing my screen. Took me about 3 minutes to get it on my site!

    Typewriter app doesn't work. You cannot click on "Settings" to add your own text.

    This Typewriter app isn't working correctly. You cannot click on "Settings" as it indicates, thus you cannot add your own text. This is obviously a problem, considering many people are saying the same thing. Is anyone at Wix going to fix this???

    You can't edit the text

    The settings box doesn't give you the option to change the text. This doesn't work. Same as all the other reviews. Can someone advise?

    Doesn't work or allow any editing of text

    I also tried this on Wix editor and there is no pop up for changing the settings. You can't edit the text or change anything beyond the default message. Useless.

    Does not work with Wix Editor

    Tried this on Wix Editor and it does not work. I followed instructions and tried to click on the Settings button on the widget itself but did not get any popup window to enter text. I know it is the widget since I was able to connect a dataset and the text appeared on the text box before the default message on where to edit the text. Can't figure out how to change the default text message.

    Very Specific Use Case

    This app writes out whatever you tell it to write, and than immediately backspaces it all. Useful, but not what I wanted it to do. I wanted it to type and than just be done, but it doesn't appear to be able to do that. If you want it to type and cycle through multiple lines of text, this is a good option. If you want any other kind of typewriter animation, though, this ain't it chief.

    writes the text and erades backwards

    I tried the App: the use is quite complicated at the beginning, the the app ist nicely writing bit erasing the text backwards. Did not find a way to keep the written on the webpage ...

      Hello, based on your feedback we have released 2.0 which has an option to stop the typing after the last string or to scroll through them indefinitely. Please try that and see if it suits your needs! This app currently only supports LTR text. We may support RTL in the future if we get enough requests.

      Hello, we've had a lot of people try it out on many different Wix sites and we haven't seen any issues so far. Perhaps deleting and re-adding the block will resolve the missing element you describe. Can you be more specific with your feedback so we can try to help you analyze and address the issue?       Could you provide more information as to what is not functioning? Please be sure to edit the strings in the settings popup rather than in the regular text editor. The regular text editor is just for styling. We published an update to make this more clear to users so please check it out again and update your review if it works as described!
