Not compatible with safari
I didn't even get to try it because I'm using safari. Does that mean that users browsing my website on safari can't either? Would be nice to be compatible with more browsers, especially with the amount of people with iPhones.

Keep getting an error message while trying to log in
I upgraded the plan, reset my password, cleared all browsers, logged in on a different browser, but I'm still getting the error message. I'm having a hard time receiving help from them

Unable to update
Since a few weeks it says there is an update available, but it does not load when clicking on it... Wix Support cannot help and so far no answer from Simplebooklet support.

Unable to use!
I installed it and tried to add material to create a flip book. I kept getting a popup that I have 3rd party cookies blocked and I need to allow them. The problem is that I do NOT have 3rd party cookies blocked so there's no way to correct it and proceed. I had to delete this app from my site. I tried several times but it was a total waste of time.

Hi, I'm really sorry that you had an issue with your browser cookies. Browser cookies and how your browser manages them are beyond our control so we aren't able to do much to fix this type of issue. However, I always recommend trying a different browser as that often can avoid cookie issues.

We use the basic plan, and the catalog is great on our website. But I wish they would add feature that allow us to control the speed of the page flip transition.

A few suggestions on the limited description of your issues: 1) make sure to use the wix mobile edit view to adjust the area your booklet is presented. 2) in your Simplebooklet account (via the advanced settings) you can adjust page flip transition and navigation layout for mobile specific (often a double page flip transition is just too small a display in a mobile screen). So many great features!
I'm using this app to display a children's book I illustrated on my website. It works so perfectly! It gives such a unique user experience, where it actually feels like you're flipping through a real book. And I love that I can add a link to purchase on Amazon at the end of the book. The integration with Wix is pretty much seamless!

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience. By default, your flipbook is set to link only sharing. You have the option to turn that off and set it to publish search engine visible,, add a password, and even restrict access to only your site. All of these options are in our access controls tool in the sharing page.

I just read the reviews, but my experience with the app has been great. Some little problems, but they were solved. My website run base on the app (proyectolunaconejo.com), and my books look great. I paid a monthly subscription. The costumer service is fast to answer, even Im not buying the big plan. So for me is a 5 of 5 stars.

The app is not working, won't display the pdf. I messaged support last week, got an instant reply, and than they ghosted. Never got back to us what is the reason/solution/ or at least to let us know that it can't be done. Don't know what to say.

Lagging very much on the Phone version
This app is lagging very much on the Phone even tho my internet speed is 200Mbbs, I have used many phones to test this and moved to many locations using both Website Embedded versions as well as their link version, but all are lagging. But the desktop version is very smooth. Kindly fix it.

Ads put onto website
Used this and thought it was brilliant. Then realised that the app had put an enormous ad over content on the homepage of the site. This may have been written in the small print, but I didn't see it. Edit after response. I am afraid that it was not a watermark on the PDF, but an advert on the homepage of the website, front and centre, directly over content. The flipbook was not even on the homepage, but on a password protected page.

Sorry for the very late reply. With the free version, we do place a last page overlay that stays for 8 seconds. Its only on the last page of your booklet, and only on free versions. It does not show ads for other businesses, it encourages readers to also consider making their own simplebooklet. Again, this is only on free accounts, it is removed on any paid plan. This would not affect your wix website or any other pages. It is contained in the simplebooklet plugin and only appears on the very last page when flipped. Sorry I wish I understood further waht you mean that it's appearing on the homepage of your website, over your sites content. Possibly you installed the plugin incorrectly? If the flipbook was in a password protected page, and not accessible, you wouldn't even see the plugin or any of the content. As you subscribed through the wix billing system to purchase your plan, all you need to do is go to your wix third party subscriptions page in your account and then cancel the plan. You can also reach out to wix help and they can walk you through it as well. I enjoyed flip books
I enjoyed flip book and has done wonders on my sight but I recently found that I was unable to access it through the site and it kept popping the message, the weblink is valid but the owner has paused the booklet.

Oh, sorry about that. Paused booklets usually happen if the subscription has dropped back to free. We don't remove booklets in case you want to activate them again. You should still be able to log into your account with your email address and access all your existing booklets. Thanks, Scott

Not good for my purpose
I have several catalogs to leaf through for the homepage. App downloaded. then you have to register again. and after that I realized that a catalog file is too big for this app.

My magazines load beautifully in my web page on WIX. I am re-asking the question someone else had regarding double page spread in mobile. The settings option is missing in mobile, whereas on desktop there is no option for re-setting the transitions in mobile view. This interrupts my communication as my double pages are chopped off from reading seamlessly. The response Scott gave before, was to adjust the transition in mobile edit view. Scott, can you point me to where this setting option is hiding on me? For anyone who tried the free app first and then paid and still had ads at the end of their flip book, I found you had to delete the free pdf on the site and re load the pdf after you pay for the upgrade, then the ads will disappear! I will re-edit my review to 5 stars if this is fixed! :) Thanks

Hey, sorry, if you paid for the upgrade, the ad should have absolutely been removed. Do you have a booklet link I can take a look at to make sure it's gone? On the upgrade, you can do additional things like add your own logo and all the simplebooklet branding goes away. I'm really sorry it didn't do this for you and would love to resolve it. Two page view using IPad?
This app is really easy to use and has good resolution. But with an iPad, I can only see one page view. (If I use the desktop, I can see a two-page view.) How can I fix this?

Great functions and Amazing Customer Service
I downloaded the app and paid the small fee to upgrade so the advertisement didn't pop up at the end of our flipbook as it is for our company website. I had issues turning off the ad once I'd upgraded, so I emailed the help center and literally got a reply within minutes. Very impressed with the service and the quality of the app

Sorry for the confusion. We do have a free plan that gives you one booklet to use on your wix site and to share everywhere. This booklet doesn't expire, but we do ask that you confirm every 6 months that you are using the app (so that we know you haven't forgotten about the content and it isn't out of date and misleading to potential customers of yours). But you are welcome to use the free version for as long as you want. It follows the same principles of a free wix website, whereby you do have the simplebooklet watermark on the free version.

They offer a free version, but delete it if you have less than 500 views in 180 days. What kind of well-known free version is that supposed to be? Do not waste your time.

Sorry for the confusion. We do not delete it if it falls below 500 views. We only ask that every 6 months you confirm that you are still using your simplebooklet if it has less than 500 views. This is our effort to make sure that orphaned, expired, and misleading content isn't being distributed online on your behalf.

Easy enough to use but Customer Service makes it awesome
For the most part, Simplebooklet is easy to navigate, but "Scott" takes the cake when it comes to customer service. They respond quickly and "he" is very thorough in teaching me how to use Simplebooklet. I highly recommend this app!

I want to publish few books on a website which are in Arabic language. does page navigation work from right to left? Also if I purchase the plan for my wix website then how much books can be displayed ?

Yes, from the design tool you can select right to left in the page transitions options. If you upgrade, you can make up to 6 booklets. You can also purchase additional booklets to add to your account. To use the rtl feature, you will want to manage your booklet directly on simplebooklet.

App needs some improvement
I'm having trouble logging into my account. I made my account through my Facebook account and when I try to login through the app while editing my site, the app just lapses out with a blank screen.

Sorry about the issue logging in. Facebook has recently changed their process for using their accounts so it has caused an issue with some. You could just log in using your wix email account or a google SSO account as well as an option. It won't affect how you use the facebook posting capabilities of simplebooklet.

I have installed the app and I'm trying to decide if it's worth for me to upgrade. I can't reach your support, when I click on the link nothing happens. I noticed that in this page you have a $3 month premium plan, but I can't click on it. In your website this offer is not available. How can I get the $3 premium plan. Also, the quality of the book on my website is not as good as in your website, will this improve with the paid plan? (or can I change the size of the book ih my website so the text can be more legible - not magnifying it, I want the book to appear on my website with the same size and quality that does in yours). Also, will people be able to download and print it? Only from your website or will they be able to download from mine as well? Thank you!

You should be able to get the wix special plan pricing right from the wix app marketplace or in your installed apps menu in your wix account. Yes, in your wix page, you will want to increase the size of the booklet container (the element container is what contains all the diffent bits of content on your wix page). You can stretch it wider and taller than the default. This should increase the default size of your booklet on your page and be better quality. Yes, from the navbar menu tools, turn on the download option and your viewers will be able to download it from your wix site as well as anywhere else you share your simplebooklet.

Free Version has ads
I spent a lot of time trying to make my book look good until I discovered it had ads on it. I understand they need to put them to be able to make it profitable but I would have apreciated if they clearly stayed this so that we don't waste our time designing to then delete it. I felt like a fool.

I'm really sorry about that. We do try and state it clearly at the very beginning. Its both in the description and in the feature list for the plans we offer. The ads that do appear on our free version are the logo in the top left corner for simplebooklet and then a small banner along the bottom where the navbar appears and does not obstruct the content in the booklet. We have actually followed the same format of the WIX free model for services.

Won't even load
I downloaded this flipbook app and cannot use it. I was trying to use it free before deciding if the paid version would be worthwhile, but the app will not allow me to log in, as it just flashes the login screen and erases the log in information over and over. It also continues to make my Wix editor app crash. Can't log in, can't use, don't see the point?

I'm sorry you ran into issues with uploading. We have over 50,000 booklets on wix alone so we are well proven to work. A few factors affect the upload process. Free plans can upload up to 25mb in file size so its worth checking your file. Also, the naming of the file can occasionally have an issue. Free version is really bad
If you are going to offer a free version at least make it useable. It shows a big banner in front of the booklet too many times. It completely kills the user experience. Its ok to show some ads at the end of it but a big banner covering the entire page in almost every single page turn, it's just unuseable.

We are releasing an update to this. You will now be able to create one simplebooklet with only the simplebooklet logo appearing in the navbar and small, less intrusive banners along the bottom of the booklet that will not block content. This should make the free version much more acceptable both for you and your customer.
