   Doesn't work on mobile

   Don't install this app! For one it only works on desktop. And when you delete the app, it leaves code behind that then interferes with your prices! I'll remove this review if they can tell me how to remove the code left behind!

      Hello, In answer to your comments: (1) the app works fine on mobiles. You may not have seen it when testing because mobile browsers have aggressive caching and you most likely were looking at a version of your site from before the installation of the Currency Converter app. If you clear your mobile cache you will see the app working normally. (2) uninstallation is done by Wix, not by us, so we have no control over this process. I will be happy to contact them on your behalf though. However, this is a review board, not our support form, so I don't have your information. Could you please contact us at support@thecurrencyconverter.app with the URL of your site? We will get this resolved as soon as we hear from you. Note that we would have provided the same support (albeit faster because we would have had the necessary info) if you had simply contacted us via our support form

   Dead link on setup

      Hello, we just checked the app and are unable to reproduce this issue. Would you be using a browser plugin like AdBlock by any chance? These plugins don't play nice with Wix Apps as they interact with the way they are loaded. If you pause AdBlock you should be able to install with no problem. If this is not the issue we will be happy to look into it (and give you two months of free Pro service for your trouble).    Doesn't display shop currency

   It just adds a calculator to the site, I was looking for an app that would actually display the shop stores in the customer currency. Additionally it doesn't have an uninstall button

      Hello, The calculator is an option and you do not have to use it. Another option is 'automated conversion', which is what you are looking for. If you want to send us an email at support@thecurrencyconverter.app with the URL of your site and I will guide you through configuration. Regarding the second issue, the app uninstalls like any other Wix app: go to your Wix Dashboard, click on 'manage app' then click on the Currency Converter app and choose 'uninstall'. Remember, we are available at support@thecurrencyconverter.app for any questions at any time.

   Refuses to work properly with CFP Francs due to Wix code errors

   Contacted WIX Customer Care but fellow who called back had no idea except to say "weird". He "escalated" the support process but still waiting for reply from Wix after 10 days. Tried several more calls to Wix...no call backs. Promises, promises. Thanks go to the admin at Web Tracking Services who saw this initial review and contacted us. Olivier tried every work around he could and after another 10 days he decided it was definitely a WIX ISSUE and contacted them. They refused his advice and sent a message for me to contact Wix yet again! Still waiting for WIX to fix. Pro Trial has almost expired. so we cannot pay for this service, sadly. Web Stat were terrific and this rating is for them!

      I am sorry for the issue you experienced. For issues having to do with an app you need to contact us directly. Wix support does not handle apps at all, which is why they could not help you (but they should have told you that!)

      Hello, Like most apps in the Wix app market, the Currency Converter has a free level and then a paid level if you need additional services. The free level works just fine and can be used for as long as you want. I am not sure where the confusion comes from since this is (I think) clearly shown in the app description. If you could get back to us at support@currencyxchange.co, we will amend anything that you may have found confusing.

      Hello, If you are located in the same country as your store the conversion is not needed since your currency and the store currency are the same, so nothing is shown at all. You can still see how it looks by using the 'Test Mode' option in your settings. It will force the display of a "conversion" even though the store and your own currency are the same. If this is not your issue please contact us at support@currencyxchange.co: we can certainly make the app work for you (see the other reviews). As to canceling the app, we do not know who you are (the reviews are anonymous) so the easiest would be, again, to contact us with your web site URL. Our email: support@currencyxchange.co

   Not a very good app

   Although, easy to install and set up. Instructions are comprehensive, but the auto converter doesn't respond on live site. Maybe i'm doing something wrong? I don't know but I just removed it. Maybe there is a better app out there.

      Hello, I am sorry you had difficulties with the app. Would you please send us an email at support@currencyxchange.co? We will help you with installation and make sure that the converter is working to your satisfaction (if you look at the other comments you can see that the app works well and most people are very happy with it.) PS/ a common issue is that if you are located in the same country as you store, the conversion is not needed (since your currency and the store currency are the same), so nothing is shown at all. Sometimes when this happens people think that the app is not working, when in fact it is. In this case, you can use the 'Test Mode' option in your settings. It will force the display of a "conversion" even though the store and your own currency are the same.

Please send us an email right away at support@currencyxchange.co and we will get whatever is wrong resolved for you. Note that the app works EXACTLY as shown in the screen shots. Did you set the 'auto-conversion' option to 'ON'?

    useless

    price shows next to original price. it should automatically convert the price to their currency not show two prices on the website. very poor work of the team.

       Hello, We could definitely do what you suggest but that would be inviting trouble. The customer is going to be charged in your store's currency. NOT in his own currency. Because of fluctuations in the exchange rates (and possibly foreign exchange bank fees) the price he will pay in his own currency will not be EXACTLY the converted price. The conversion is meant as a help for your customer. It is not going to be the EXACT price that he will pay in his currency. For that reason we add it next to the original price. Not as a replacement. I hope this makes sense. If not, feel free to write to us at support@currencyxchange.co and if you have a very specific need that changes the facts stated above, we'll be happy to add an option in the settings for the app. Also, if you feel that this answer makes sense, we'd be grateful if you could review your rating (but that's entirely up to you!)

    Wont Load

    Confused

    I am a bit confused as I used to have a currency converter on my eshop. But since I have changed my main language, it is just showing me one currency and I am not able to have something else than € Now I have tried to download your app but it is saying I cannot access it because I have to upgrade to PRO version. Really confusing

    Currency Converter or Calculator?

    First its just a bad display on my website It when to the main screen and I thought it would go directly to the pricing page and do the Currency converter so people could see the difference from their location but its just a calculator I mean I paid the full year for nothing, people can do the conversion with their own calculator .... your app sucks I like to get my money back....

Anyone can convert with a calculator. What we offer is constantly updated rates, which most people don't have. In that regard we are a converter, not just a calculator and we offer exactly what we advertise 4/ Nowhere do we claim that we will go to the pricing page and convert it. We have no way of doing this. We offer a currency converter for your users. And we make no other claim!

    thsi app doesnt do what it said

    i was thinking it would help my clients convert money so they can see the price in their currency before it changes but it does not let them change price it only shows the demo price
