   Bad customer service & confusing billing

   The app itself is fine, it does what I need it to do for my store. But the user interface as it pertains to how it sets up it's billing is WHACK! It is so confusing that I don't even know who to explain how confusing it is, but I will try...The app is offered through wix...so you can purchase it through wix or directly through ecwid? Not sure but I do know there are two SEPARATE pricing systems one if you go through wix and one if you go through ecwid (which again I don't really understand)...long and short of it is that when you try to get customer service the wix people will tell you to go to ecwid and the ecwid people will tell you to go through wix...after numerous hiccups, screenshots, and various emails I finally got someone to correct what I needed but good grief it took waaaay too much time out of my day. So if you have like zero patience for bad customer service and having to contact various people to get an answer I would say be prepared to be annoyed. The app itself has good basic storefront features that make selling on the go pretty easy.

Indeed, there are two types of accounts: - Accounts registered directly at https://www.ecwid.com; - Accounts registered through Wix in the Ecwid app. The subscriptions for direct accounts are managed on our end; if an Ecwid account is created through Wix, the subscriptions are managed by Wix. They have their own billing system and we don't have access to their billing records. Sorry! That's why when there's a question regarding the subscription for such an account, we can ask our clients to contact Wix to get the issue solved. Do you mean the Japanese translation of payment and delivery methods or do you mean the availability of payment processors and shipping carriers itself? Which payment processors and delivery methods did you want to use in your store? Some of the available payment processors for Japan in Ecwid are Stripe, PayPal and Square. Shipping your products is possible via FedEx. If you wanted to use other payment processors or shipping carriers, please share it with us by emailing support@ecwid.com or messaging us through live chat at ecwid.com. This would help us a lot!

   I'm selling flowers. Customer select very nice arrangement. Now customer would like add special item, candy, stuffed animal and add a cute card. How do I set up this special items to select? additional pricing roll up into the over all total.

It will add a section "You May Also Like" with some featured products. Thus, when a customer visits a bouquet details page, they will see the special items on the page and will be able to purchase them, as well. If so, you can enable the breadcrumbs for your Ecwid store page. Thus, you'll be able to navigate through your store pages. Just in case, breadcrumbs should be enabled from the Ecwid app design settings in your Wix website editor. As of now, I recommend that you contact us either at support@ecwid.com or in the live chat regarding the navigation issue and provide us with your store ID or the email address your Ecwid account is registered with. Thus, we'll be able to have a look at your website, check your store settings and help you further. Hope to hear from you!

   Sobre o Chakout.

   Olá, venho les pedir que através de um grande esforço, criem uma especie de chakout transparente integrado no site, sem a necessidade de fazer um chakout esterno através de redirecioamentos; A opção de Wixpayments é extremamente limitada e ridícula, me informaram na propaganda, que eu poderia criar um site da minha loja de tênis, e quando estava finalizando descobri que a politica do Wixpayments não me permite vender os meus tênis e relógios.

    shipping is messed up

    The shipping that gets calculated on my website is not what I have entered into the settings so I'm not sure how the shipping prices are being generated. I have requested customer service contact me and it's been 2 days and nothing so far. I had to disable the custom shipping rates and just put it at a flat rate because I couldn't get it to work

    deleting old picturew

    I have an online store I'm trying to delete pictures I no longer need and it wont let me I tried deleting the whole page and reinstalling the online store in it brings back up the same pictures.

    STORE INVENTORY

    I have a wix webiste, and I am now adding ecwid as an app. I can't import my inventory drom wix to ecwid. Instead, the app is forcing me to do the opposite: to type again all my products on ecwd than after connecting with my website, the products are imported from ecwid to wix. However when you do that, the quality of the images decrease, the layout changes, and the page looks ugly. It's possible to reformat, but it's something I had done before, in addition, the photos look blurry. how can I bring my inventory from wix to ecwid? I don't want to create another product list, it's time consuming.

       Hello there, Ecwid and Wix shops are two different e-commerce solutions. At the moment there is no way to transfer the products automatically, you will need to export your product list from Wix to a spreadsheet file and upload it to your Ecwid catalog. Please see this guide on how to import products into Ecwid: https://support.ecwid.com/hc/en-us/articles/208079105-Importing-products As for the quality of images, we checked your page but didn't notice the mentioned issue.     Limited customisation options

    I am unable to change the text sizes at all. Moreover, I cannot resize the cart icon properly and it also won't attach itself to the header of my website. Would all this be possible if I go for a paid plan? Please assist. Thank you

    Lacking Customization

    Unfortunately Ecwid's store was just a little too limiting for my needs. It really wouldn't take them much to give more flexibility to the user. I was really interested in the Xero integration as it's the only current Wix store that offers such integration, BUT I literally lasted 10 minutes exploring the platform before frustration got the better of me. Number 1, I immediately wanted to change the 'Add To Bag' to 'Add To Cart'... mind blown that this wasn't even possible. Seriously?!? A bag is almost gender specific in the type of store that you could present to the world market. Just makes me think of womens clothing and apparel. Anyway, I think Ecwid offers a lot of good functionality but really need to take it that extra mile to attract more customers with more specific needs for customization. So yeh 2 stars... could be better.

In the meantime, please, consider changing default text labels in your Ecwid store with the help of "Edit Store Labels" feature. Here is how: 1) Go to your Ecwid Control Panel → Settings → Edit Store Labels 2) Click Add Custom Label 3) Use the search bar to find the necessary label 4) Enter your custom value to the corresponding field For instance, you want to change the default "Add to bag" to Your own text. Type "Add to bag" into the search field, find the label and type "Add to cart" in the text field to the right. The changes are saved automatically.     just Meh

    When Wix pull their finger out, and add to the very limited amount of apps they currently have available, i will definitely be going back to them. Firstly, you need to be able to code to be able to change much at all, options as far as design are very limited unless you can script. Its got nearly zero integration with Wix on the whole, to the point that when people go to your website and then move to the store it looks like 2 completely separate websites. The ability to edit the product pages is zero apart from layout. I currently have all my writing in one block instead of neatly laid out paragraphs the app wont let me add spaces between lines to break things up. I'd like to be able to add more pages as people check out and create a funnel, this is not possible also. There are more issues, but honestly this app has taken enough of my time. Wish there was a more complete trial before i bought.... would have probably just scrapped the website for now and gone with a shopify website to save time and my hair which i'm currently pulling out. On a side note, the checkout feature works. So that's a positive for a balanced review. Edit: 1) Yeah, if i wanted to learn CSS id, go make my own website. 2) Hitting enter multiple times doesn't work. Say, for example, you want three lines in-between paragraphs, nah you get one (or even none sometimes). Every time you save, it compacts all the text back together. 3) The only design you can change without coding is splitting up the page into 1, 2 or 3 sections and having photos slide up/down or left/right. You don't get to choose what text appears where, where the checkout button goes or any that. 4) Basic marketing teaches that you try to get people to agree to things in small amounts. It seems like less commitment to them. So when someone hits checkout, it might be nice to have to option to have a screen pop up saying 'you know what, you just bought that product, as a gift ill give you 10% off this one if you add it to basket as well.' I choose wix, because i wanted to set my store apart from the other 30million drop-shipping sites. This store app, is just a copy paste of everything else with no ingenuity. Not my cup of tea but does what it says i suppose. Hence the MEH review...

    We're using this app for the sole reason that it supports some complex zip code-level shipping rules that were hard to find quickly. Other than that, the app is sorely lacking in design and functionality, and upcharges for features that should be standard.

    member login and shopping cart issue

    I bought it as a monthly package. I'm disappointed. The shopping cart icon is very ugly. We do not have a choice like in WiX. The shopping cart icon seems too big and bad on the mobile site. Different and smaller options must be inevitable. This is really important. Membership login panel html code does not work on the top of the site. Not compatible with Wix. I can not send the customer "wix shootout" after shopping. Normally after 5 days I received an automatic email asking us to rate them. I can not do it now. It can not be done manually one by one. The images do not look realistic like the wix panel. In Wix, the visuals seemed more precise and clearer. I tried all the settings but there is a foggy image. I bought this application because it was a member login and address book editing. But right now I am very undecided. Finally, the coupon description is very confusing. I wish you could improve yourself by looking at wix stores. Wix is ​​free but does not have member entry, add address book, edit after order. I hope you can correct these problems as soon as possible.
