We installed the free version and contacted the owner to clarify one of the app’s features. He replied right away and assured us that the feature we needed worked as expected. We just had to upgrade and pay. After paying for the app, we discovered that the feature did not work the way he had explained. We tried contacting him again at least six times but never received a response. After doing more research, we found out that the company has been dissolved, which means there appears to be no support for this product. Based on our experience, we do not recommend installing or purchasing this app.

He pagado la versión Premium para que aparecieran más comentarios en mis artículos. Lamentablemente, no se muestran todos: en mi caso solo aparece uno y los demás no se ven. He pagado un mes y no tengo intención de seguir pagando si el problema no se soluciona.

The free version is useless

Good basic functionality but limited to 10 comments makes it useless.

I'm very disappointed in this app. I signed up for the premium package which is supposed to allow for unlimited comments, but I'm only able to get 10 comments (as if I am getting only the free package). I paid the upgrade and it shows that I have the premium package and yet every time there is a new comment added to our site, the oldest comment gets deleted -- limiting us to only 10 comments. I've sent emails to customer service, but just got a message saying I need to wait for a supervisor to respond in a few days. So far, definitely not worth the money.

Allows spam and bots. They should automatically get deleted without the admin needing to create rules.

App is just not working or I have screwed up with the settings, but the technical support does not even seem to know what to tell me, weeks later after paying my 1st subscription and I still sit with an app that does not work! Come on guys shape up or leave WIX app center please!

Horrible, cheap, rippoff

This app is completley irrelevant. If you are using a blog or forum or anything like that, its bad. It has a user limit of 10 comments, then asks you to upgrade to the overpriced premium plan. Dont install this, its a waste of time

No good

Sent an email to tech support, got an auto reply stating I'd be contacted in 24 hours, it's been 4 days. Brutal customer service.

Comments don't appear on pages

The comments don't appear on the pages once approved. I'm going to have to migrate them all manually to a different app. Very frustrating experience with this app.

This app has issues. I even Upgraded but that did'nt fix it.

Deleted 2 comments on my site yet they are still displaying. Upgraded to the paid app, refreshed the page and still nothing.

Nice but 10 comments for free is too less

At least make it 25 comments for free or reduce the price to around 10 USD for a year.

La app no te permite sino sólo 10 comentarios, luego no permite más de forma gratuita, es basura, te cobra mensualmente, sólo para tener comentarios en tu sitio... no vale la pena...

Muy poco funcional

Le falta realmente copiar en portapapeles para compartir en otras redes sociales como Whatsapp, Telegrama o por correo electronico y deberia tener una ventana que se mueva de arriba hacia abajo con barras laterales y viceversa para ver los comentarios... Realmente esta buscando como compartir mi pagina web, pero esta es poco funcional para eso.

Doesnt work as intended

I got this app so i could be able to approve comments before they posted to the site. I had to do this because i had the free version and someone decided to leave vulgar comments for no reason. The free app didnt give me a notice when comments were made anyways. Added the upgraded version, left a few test comments, and they auto approved. I had selected the option to require my approval prior to adding to the webpage.... this clearly didnt work. Then when i went to manage comments to delete them, they wouldnt delete. There was a slider on the far right that seemingly did nothing, and an icon of a trashcan that did nothing. I am not sure who all is actually reviewing this app, but for me it didnt work at all, and they got me for $6.00.

Doesn't work

This app hasn't been working for months now and I can't figure out how to remove it from my website, so that it doesn't show an error message below the products. Could some support help me out please!

Pointless

Barebones functionality makes this "App" freeware. Granted, you're working within the limitations of the Wix framework, but I would rate Comments as a first year comsci app as opposed to an app you would subscribe to.

Simply doesn't work

I paid for the premium version, but despite hours I just couldn't get it to work properly. I'm an experienced user of WIX and know my way around the platform so I would proceed with caution. It was something I really wanted for my site, so I'm very disappointed. If comments are important to you I'd probably recommend Wordpress.

It has been over a month since I contacted them to transfer over blog comments from Weebly to Wix. They have been so slack at replying and haven't completed the task. I would not recommend using this app if it involved communication with them!

Wix is not bad but The support in Japanese is terrible

I'm not the most computer literate, but I can't get this off my blog. It blasts a great chunk out. I can neither move it delete it.

Waste of money, don't use this

I paid to have more than 10 comments to be displayed but it didn't automatically update. This is time sensitive as I wanted an employer to see my engagements on my site. Super frustrated. Don't pay the money because it won't work.

The app needs upgrades

I'm very disappointed! If you are a business owner then you are aware of how difficult it is to get users to leave reviews on your website. All of my reviews are basically gone due to not being able to transfer them. This app is not user friendly. I was paying for premium and some how my reviews deleted after re branding my website. I just decided to delete the app and take my reviews as a lost. Hopefully Wix installs a review section without having to use a third party company.

Absolutely hopeless customer care

Tried out the 10 comments free trial. Wanted to extend the testing so signed up for one month. App didn't upgrade automatically so contacted them. Took 3 days for response when they asked a basic question. Another 3 days and then email from 'Uri Shaked, CEO Comments App'who said that it had been escalated to him and said they had experienced similar problems with other clients and it was down to WiX. Said he would sort it out. Waited another 5 days nothing happening. No contact at all. Asked for full refund. Still waiting. Absolutely hopeless customer care.

This was working fine but now it is not showing comments on live site. Although user can comment but not visible on live site. Previous comments also not visible.

It's really frustrating to see comments that soon dissappear or don't show on my blog posts after having questions from readers and that have been answered in these.

although it is easy to use, the app is visible everywhere in the blog and doesn't work if you want comments only for one blog post.

no way to turn off the grey avatar only

The fact that we cannot turn off the avatar if no image makes me rate this app 1 star. I find super ugly and empty avatar when we work so hard to make nice website. This is unacceptable from WIX, they should only proved applications that are complete and not part-complete.
