    Dreadful

    I will keep this short - the app just doesn't work! Installed and tested and even for the most basic of word searches across my site it just returns "No results found"!

    Rarely working

    On and off this app is consistently saying 'Trial period over' etc.. when I'm still paying for it. Customers are now asking for easily searchable items but the box is hardly ever working lately. Starting to feel ripped off being charged for something that isn't working.

    Does not Work on Mobile Devices!

    When users search on Mobile devices the page locks up. This is because the search results are only shown in pop ups which no one will allow on their mobile devices. I tried the free trial for 6 days and it was never fixed. The owner of the app didn't even bother to respond to my original post. Therefore, I will not pay for this app. Not even sure why Wix allows the sale of this app since all websites have both desktop and mobile versions. This error would cause potential customers to leave the page without looking further at the website. Needs an option in the settings to show search results in a new window.

    Doesnt work

    I purchased and installed SEARCH and it took 6 hours before I was able to open the configuration. The configuration steps are not well explained and the help has many mis-spellings. I then allowed 12 hours for indexing and then tested the search feature. On OSX 10.11.6 El Capitan, if I enter one of several common key search words our customers would use then the Search widget errors out and the entire screen goes grey. Never saw anything like it on OSX. I then allowed an additional 12 hours for indexing, and tested the search feature on 2 additional computers: On OSX 11.0.1 Big Sur, the search feature would go through a search, then a pop up window opened and reported “no results found" ; On a third computer that has Microsoft Windows 10 Home also tested with several common key search words resulted in each report being “no results found” The other search widgets Wix offers have even lower ratings. How can we have a store on Wix without powerful search?

    Poor instructions

    First off, the directions on how to turn this on are horrible. It says go to "Site" then "site manager" then click Seo. I have none of that on my dashboard or anywhere for that matter. I went to seo settings and still nothing.

      GA integration is not a part of Search app, there is no such option in the app's description. Search app performs the best search on Wix and does it perfect.

    Settings faulty

    I've tried a few different times to set up different colours, every time I try to select the HSL numbers for a new colour the page closes down before I am able to enter all the details.

    Very poor and RUDE customer support

    Customer support questions take days to answer. When they do, they're abrupt, rude and to use their words "doing me a favour" by giving me a trial and answering questions. The software is crippled in the trial version with limit to 3 results being returned (it took me 3-4 days to get that information from the support people. I've also been advised that it is limited to 1000 pages. I'm still unsure whether this is 1000 pages, or is it pages and photos combined. Highly recommend you seek alternate site search suppliers.

      Michael, You asked to restart the trial version and we did it by your first request - as a favour, we don't do it usually because it looks like a fraud. Despite our search app has very detailed description including limitation for trial version, of course we gave your answers on all your questions. But all your question were about trial version without any interest to premuim one. Premium version has no one limitation that's why we'd like get a small explanation of your interest in trial version only. Unfortunately you reaction is unproportional and shows that you wasn't interested to acquire the premium. A lot of our clients try other search providers after end of the trial version, but most of them return to us and acquire the premium account, because our both search and customer support are the best in the app market. We wish you good luck and we'll be glad to talk to you again when you decide to return to us.

      Hello, 3 results are shown for the trial version only as it's said in Search app description. All search results are available for the premium version of the app.

    Clunky and not worth you time

    1) you have to MANUALLY add EACH keyword in the SEO section of the page settings (limit of 10 keywords per page... enough said) 2) changes made to the color and layout never take effect even after saving... 3) still won't link to my site and keep trying to link externally 4) The developer can't type or doesn't understand what step by step means. There are numerous typos in their instructions... no wonder, this is probably made by 17 year old. If these problems are because I did not pay for the full version, all the more reason to not use it. absolutely useless.

      Unfortunately the owner of the site bodhipharma.com didn't want to understand that every website's owner needs to invest time and resources to promote it like any other business. We sent him some common useful advises regarding SEO but he took them like an insult, " you have to MANUALLY add EACH keyword in the SEO section" - actually yes, this is a common rule how to improve search results for any SEO engine like Google, Bing etc. And the next points are the result of these misunderstanding. In general it's really pity to see so unproportional reaction on our attempt to help.

    Un elemento più utile del motore di ricerca interno di un sito penso che non esiste, e Wix ovviamente non lo offre gratis, ma ci vuole costringere ad acquistare questi abbonamenti assurdi che costano più dell'abbonamento a Wix stesso! Wix dovrebbe imporre un tetto massimo per le app, altrimenti non le compra nessuno! Uno paga un dominio 6 € pm e una app costa 8€ pm!?!? Ridicolo!
