    Wix Sellfy app is not the complete version

    I have been using this for years and I've had no problem. Keep in mind this is meant to be an upsell to the complete version of Sellfy which has much more benefit. I didn't know this myself until recently. I never needed anything more. But this Wix version is extremely basic.

For sellers like yourself with an existing Wix website who are looking for a simple checkout solution, the app is certainly a great fit. :)

      Hi there! Yes, it could be possible to do. But, it's important to share that we don't currently support cryptocurrency as a method of payment. Though, Sellfy supports any and all file types. If you'd like to try it out, I'd recommend a free trial to see how it goes! :-)

    Is it possible to sell digital subscriptions with your app?

    Such as a monthly movement program subscription e.g. pilates program where a buyer is subscribed to a monthly payment of 9.99 whilst having access to a digital "library"?

    Have Neither Stripe Nor Paypal, am I unable to use it?

    Hi, I am a Kyrgyzstan resident, the country which is not allowed to accept payments via PayPal and Stripe. Does it mean that I cannot use your app & services to sell my eBooks online? Regards,

Unfortunately, if both of the payment processors won't allow you to accept payments, you'd only be able to offer free downloads through Sellfy. If you're looking to give away content and build up followers, this might be helpful. But, you won't be able to sell and collect payments. Sellfy Support

    I want to sell my photos online. I'll the trial version. However, I need to know, for digital products is it possible to have variants of the product. I wish to have variants of the personal and commercial photo use, and various size of photos, small, medium and large. Thanks

    Secure storage and delivery question

    Hello! I'm wondering in what way my video will be delivered to client after purchase? will he be able to download it or only watch? I need my videos to be protected from downloading by clients, only access to watch after payment for the period of time. Is it possible in you app? And where can i see what currency system works with?

      Hi! The Sell Downloads app is designed to deliver your products to customers via the Purchase Email including a unique download link. The download link is activated once the order is confirmed, so customers can't access the product before the payment is completed. I'm afraid streaming files is not possible with our app, though.       Hi there, Thanks for checking out the trial! If you start a subscription after the free two-week trial, you can cancel at any time. But, the monthly subscription payment of $9.99 paid to Wix isn't refundable if you do cancel the subscription to the app. I hope that makes sense!     I come from Dominican Republic and I want to know if there are some regulars advice or laws that deny any sell in my country. In addition, in the demo version I didn't see the paypal option... so, you charge the credit card with your app and transfer automatically to my paypal account? The buyer doen'st need a paypal account? Thanks.

      Hi there, Thanks for checking out the app! There are two payment processor options with the Sell Downloads app. You can use PayPal, Stripe or both. Stripe allows for purchases with major debit or credit cards, but it looks like it isn't available for the Dominican Republic. Sorry about that! That means that you'll need to use PayPal to accept purchases. Your customers can pay with a card, through their PayPal account, but they will need to pay with a PayPal account. So, the bad news is that you won't be able to use Stripe, but your buyers can still pay by card through PayPal. There shouldn't be any issues with laws and regulations for selling digital content that complies with the Sellfy Terms of Service as well. But, we're not experts in that regard, and if you do have a concern, you may want to find a local authority on the subject. We do have sellers that operate world-wide without an issue, though. :-) Best regards, Sellfy Support

      Hi there! :-) We don't have a specific integration with Kotobee, but when selling with the app, you'll upload your file to our site. We'll store your product file, and send a secure download link to your customer after they purchase. You'll be able to upload any file type for your E-book, so if you have a specific file type for your book, that's no trouble at all! We also offer PDF stamping to help secure your E-books.     If I download a pdf to sell, or an ebook to sell, what protection is there so that the purchaser cannot forward that file?

      Hi! Thank you for looking into our service! We offer the PDF stamping feature, which adds the buyer's email address on every page of the ebook. However, while this feature discourages people from sharing the PDF file publicly and re-selling it, this is not 100% preventive as we can't control what happens to the file once it's downloaded. On top of that, we'd also recommend you use other means to prevent piracy, such as pre-ordering and developing customer loyalty.     Can I sell vector files as ai or eps files and the review for sure will be an image with watermark

    I am planning to create website for my illustrations and calligraphy which usually it a vector files from adobe illustrator with extension files type either ai or eps and when they download it they have it as an ai file so they can edit do what ever they need to do is that something possible with your tool

    With this app, are you able to sell multiple videos at one price, like a package? For example, a 10 video series for $20. Or can it only be individual items?

      Hi, You should be able to use the Buy Now button on your Wix.com website. However, it may not be possible to embed the button in a blog post. It would be best if you reached out to Wix support to get a 100% accurate answer.

      Hi, The multiple upload feature lets you upload a number of different files as part of the same product. So yes, you can include a video as well as a document for your customers to purchase in one go. The buyers will be able to download each file separately, from within the same download page.     Apply Coupon Codes for customers

    This is a great simple app. I would like to add a coupon code for some customers. They would enter their unique coupon code and receive a discount for their future download purchase. Is this possible now or in the future?

    Does your app prevent sharing of links? For example, I am selling an eBook and my current app sends a link to the buyer; however, if the buyer sends the link to anyone else they can download the book as well...this can be done an infinite number of times for 30 days. Thanks for any feedback!

    Hello Instead of a "buy now" button can you have a " free download " button ? I want to offer my mag free to my subscribers from my wix store, with the potential to sell future issues to my wix store visitors . Also can I offer past issues online for sale ? What format do you recommend for the download ? PDF ? We use indesign but can save as whatever ? We are on issue however want to collect the email address ourselves for our database so thought Sellfy would be good ??

Basically, you would need to upload the watermarked image as the product preview image and then the full-sized, watermark-free image would be the actual product file.
