Simply put. This app sucks. And so does Wix.

Garbage

Issue with paying subscription fees, but there is 1. no way to change the payment method, 2. only option is to upgrade the service, and 3. we can't delete the app because of the payment issue, This app will strong arm you for money.

Extremely disappointing experience — paid version, broken sync, and no meaningful support

Fast Simon’s Site Search app has been extremely disappointing. I am using the paid version, but the search engine does not properly sync with my website, making the search function unreliable and ineffective for visitors. I have sent several emails and provided evidence that the app is not working correctly. The only response I received was a request for my website URL, and after that, silence. There is no visible sign of actual customer or technical support, even for a paying customer. A site search tool directly affects user experience, navigation, and potentially sales. If it does not sync correctly and support does not follow through, it becomes a liability rather than a solution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this app unless Fast Simon improves its technical support, communication, and accountability. Right now, the paid version has not provided the reliability or support I expected.

Habe es kurz getestet und leider nicht das was wir suchten.

Die Indexierung ist unklar und funktioniert langsam (?) oder vielleicht garnicht. Uns ist das zu teuer um eine Testversion zu erhalten.

üstelik bunu istememe seçeneği de var ve bu seçenek asla çalışmıyor. Az önce yükledim ve yıllık plan satın aldım. Bunu sitemden kaldırıp satınalmayı iptal etmek istiyorum. Hiç kullanışlı değil.

Upon installing app and linking my business instagram feed, my personal instagram feed disapeared in instagram. Don't know why, but I am now looking for a better alternative to link to instagram feed .

Breaks or has issues on a regular basis

This search function breaks or has issues on a regular basis, either not showing results at all or not showing pictures. Its a constant back and forth with support, constant stress and often they break it even more trying to fix it. I really wish this app worked better. Their support also leaves emails unanswered, which leaves business owners in the dark, wondering what to do, with sales suffering. I'll edit this review to a more positive review if I can get a better outcome or experience out of the app.

Application inefficace

Cette application utilise le moteur de recherche de Google alors que j'attends un moteur qui recherche dans la base de données constituée par les textes et images enregistrés par Wix pour mon site. Donc l'appli ne trouve pas les mots recherchés mais seulement les pages où se trouvent ces mots. Une fois la page trouvée et ouverte il faut encore y rechercher à la main le mot souhaité. Evidemment les pages protégées ne s'ouvrent pas. Cette application reste inutile, même à 12 euros par mois.

le tarif augmente de 4€ par mois sans être prévenu (passe de 8€ à 12€), et quand vous envoyez un mail pour avoir des informations car le tarif est exorbitant pour l'utilisation qui est proposée, aucune réponse... je déconseille fortement.

Images not showing

This search does not show site images, only text. Developer says it´s because of wix and wix is doing nothing to correct the problem.

Not working as a search function

Awful apps

First, the search tool shows banner instead of products, then they told me it got problems with WIX and it took a week to fix the problem. OK then they told me the problem is fixed, the search tool finally could search products, BUT!! the layout of products page totally goes wrong when I used the search bar to search product, it turns out only show the image of product, other things like SIZE, COLOR, DESCRIPTION,etc all go missing!! And the search result page also goes wrong, it shows the full link of products instead of their product name, and the black color label also couldn't show. I could not believe that a paid APP performing like this, and there is no any compensation for this either. It has been 2 weeks after I report the problem and nothing was fixed. I am really disappointed about this APP.

Too expensive!

Are you kidding me? The monthly plan for the search tool (a basic tool for ny site) is more expensive than the pin for the whole site.

Ive heard of a price increase but this is INSANE

We purchased the full year last year of the top package offered at $104.14, our 1 year just ended and the new price is $650.41 NO THANKS, I will be re-installing the free searchbar wix provides. PRICE GOUGE SOMEONE ELSE! App was mediocre at best and not even worth the $104 in the first place

Only searches based on blog titles, not keywords within blog posts. Literally useless. Also, horrible customer service. I've waited 22 days for a response so far.

Really bad customer service

Im very disappointed with the Search+/Fast Simone customer service. I installed the app some months ago and everything was working fine, then all of a sudden the search engine stopped working like it used to and could not even display simple search terms like "Pizza". It gave no results. Thats when my story with the companies "customer service" started. They could not resolve my issue, ping ponged me between three different staff members and made things much more complicated with strange questions and answers. This went on like this for TWO WEEKS and meanwhile my business suffered big time. Im still waiting for them to answer my last email two days ago and this just shows very clearly how dysfunctional their costomer care is. I don´t recommend this app at all.

Hoped this would help customers find images in my galleries. The app finds very few.

Not working well

Worked well for the first few months Then there were lots of problems without being able to get support properly. We had to remove it from the site

it doesn't collect the new product website information right away. i will search for a "new" item and it doesn't pop up. The problem is it doesn't synchronize new products and I pay for this monthIy. I update my website with new products, and this search engine doesn't pick them up until a few days or weeks later. I wish it would pick up on new items immediately. Thanks.

Didn't work

I had this on my site, but had to take it off because of it's inaccuracies. I typed in a name of a business that was on my site to search for, but it broke about the search terms and I never received the business in the results.

This app was working fine for days, and now it's not working. Shows no results every time you search something on your site. How do I delete it?

Useless. Don't bother

Doesn't work till you upgrade and are willing to pay $7. The free one doesn't work at all. Don't bother getting it. Can someone tell me how to uninstall it, so it doesn't creep my data!

Din't find any search results. Doubled checked and executed all steps to ensure nothing is being blocked and etc. . . Now I'm left not able to uninstall the application from my site. Smh.

Will not let me remove from Wix

Wix says contact app developer and App says contact Wix. I can't cancel our Wix website, until this app is removed from our our account. Beyond fustrating. Would be great if they would get on the same page. Warning: If you purchase this app, it might not be able to be removed.

Needs improving. Some photos are not shown & even using words included in the title does not bring up the required results. Useless.

Doesn't Work

I have tried this search bar on my website in preview mode, but it didn't work. So then I tried it after I had published my website, but it still didn't work. It kept giving me an error saying that you have to publish your site to use it, even though I was on the published site. After that, I decided to stop using it but I couldn't delete it.

Can not personalize font and colours

I was stuck with a Beige, Times New Roman font because the search bar wouldn't react to (show) the changes I made in Design.

needs to go to directly to the searched word or highlight someone something.

search needs to highlight the specific word/words searched because theres no point in searching one word in a page that has 1000 words and does highlight its location. please fix or its useless.

I have the paid version of the app. However, it doesn't sync with my site and it doesn't work. I have sent e-mails many times to solve the problem. But nobody is interested. An application that you should definitely not buy for a fee!

Была установлена скидка на товар 10%, потом установил 30%. Поисковик товар находит, но со скидкой 10%. Вероятно он хранится где то в памяти и не обновляется. Обычный поисковик от Wix не хуже и бесплатный.
