It's overly intrusive in my privacy, asking for too much of sensitive information and even DEMANDING my business to "comply" with the processor's ILLEGITIMATE requirements - like having a particular type of the company bank account. DELETED.

This is a terrible app and a shameless example of internet profiteering. Complete Shit.
The app is poorly described and difficult to work with. I have a non profit and went through hell to install the button when my old payment method was discontinued by Wix to squeeze more money out of me. The "donate" button processed my donations as purchases of goods, and paypal promptly froze funds that needy people were waiting on. It's another shit company designed to suck money from any user, and I sincerely hope they go bankrupt when others experience this kind of crap.

Non-Functioning Paypal Button is nothing more than an icon
I thought I'd be able to add a Paypal button on my homepage for a one touch "buy it now" style. This isn't the case. It doesn't pick up the buy cost of the item, so it checks out with $0. This app was a waste of money. When it didn't meet the expectations I had, they fought me on the refund and I had to dispute the charge with my credit card. No customer service to speak of.

Do not waste your time
Something is obviously wrong with the button. I tried it on two different sites and it did not work on either. Technical Support could not resolve it either and tried to tell me that my payment account was not connected when it was Totally waste.

unfortunately I have many problems with this app
First of all, my homepage is in French.. Living in Germany I get now a mixture of 3 languages when I click on the PayPal button. Then there are typing errors. When I click "offline payments" I get a message and I confirm, I get a message, that the amount has been paid. Confirmation mails don't arrive either. than a new window opens (not a new tab) when customers get redirected. Since I integrated this app I have problems with my windows. they don't show their content anymore. delivery costs into foreign countries isn't very clear either.

This app is really bad. It would have been just as easy to put my pay pal link on my website.
This is a bad way to treat people. There is no reason that I should not have been able to put my paypal link on this site. Instead. I just spent 147 dollars for nothing. And that is becoming my wix story. I am very dissatisfied with this site and the way you o business.

Looks cool but total ripoff
Had no clue the free version would limit the number of payments I could accept. Suddenly after the 3rd donation, fortunately someone close to me reached out and said it wasn’t working even though the app said “payment received.” Turns out the free version only lets you receive a limited number of payments. Also it’s annoying that it doesn’t let you use the PayPal.me friends and family link for your PayPal-you have to use the goods and services option only even though that’s not what I’m doing. Extremely stressful to advertise your donation button and find out it doesn’t work

What is the point?
This is just a different way of creating a buy now button for regular pages, not product pages. There is no way to turn it on or off for specific products you do not want to sell. Switching to Wix as a big mistake.

Cannot link to my WIX database (without code)
We are a simple camera club using Zoom to keep the club alive during the pandemic. We want to sell links to speaker events, and have a database of events, which are displayed individually on dynamic pages. We need to put the PayPal button on the dynamic page and connect it to the event title item from the db so we know which event the customer has bought. We do not want to get into writing code as we have no-one to support it. This product does not provide a connector to the database so is unusable for us
