Impossible to cancel the subscription

Once the app is installed and the subscription is activated, there seems to be no way to uninstall it or stop the payments. The cancellation process keeps redirecting me between the subscription settings and the app management page, but no cancellation option is available. I have been paying for months for a service I no longer use, on a website that is no longer active. I also contacted technical support, but they did not provide any concrete help or solution. Terrible experience. I do not recommend this app.

They had a free version that filled the need. Although it was a pain in the behind to set up, it got the job done. Then without notice it stopped working. Me trying to figure out what has happened with the site only to discover that...nah...they just want to get paid for the app now. No warning, no notification..nothing. Tried contacting them in the beginning thinking there was a technical issue. Their service is even worse than the app

No Technical Support

Their app isn't working and when you email them, it says they are out of the office until August 26th.

Trying to build a timeline using this app is complete pain in the butt. terribly frustrating. I give up.

embeded on the website

I added this app to get a history timeline and without any reason it just disappeared. I tried to recover it, and when I accessed the APPs, it wasn't even active. I lost all my content, without understanding why it stopped working.

horrible don't use

F*cking awful UI for website design. Colours don't even change when customising the timeline, and the options box when selecting colours goes off the screen which you can't drag back because it's fixed smh.

Frustrating. Nothing seems to work. Why Wix offer these apps I have no idea!

it is not the best

there are a lot of bugs and a lot of irritating elements about this app. I cant even see all of the colors available for use. plus you have to put in a full date or it puts in the current date. there are only a few styles to choose from and is not very stylish. would not recommend at all.

Does not work

There are so many bugs - you can't save, the popup to change font and color doesn't show. Don't waste your time or money. Contacted support and no resolution.

Get away from this app - you cannot save changes!

Nice idea, but the programmer didn't tested his own work. You can't save your changes, because the OK field swipes out of the window. Even if your change the scream, you can't save new colors. Useless! No stars, if I could.

Doesn't work

Color Customization tab falls under the dropdown edit menu rendering this app useless.

Doesn't work, I can't edit it, and no one responds to questions or support.

Worst Editing Function EVER!

Tried Premium & still can't change event colours etc as the options slip below the line and you can't drag them up to click save - When you try to edit the colours the options slip below the frame on every option except the “App Border/line color” so you can’t click save for any of the colors or even tab or scroll down to do so. The entire editing suite is very flawed and useless!!

Poorly made - Don't waste your time with it

Most of the functions this app provides simply do not work, and you their is practically no sizing, So even after adding a few timestamps to the timeline it will not fit on the page, just going off to the side with no way of seeing it.

Very frustrating

I am having serious issues with the app. The date preference is not functioning correctly. I will enter a date into the system and the software will either revert it back to today's date or, it won't recognize the setting that's already in place. Such as our preference to only display the year. I have tried numerous times to refresh the software, exit Wix editor and reenter the software in hopes to stop the glitching, but it isn't working as described. The consistency of this issue and the fact that other Google reviews allude to the same issues, it is obvious that this is a glitch with the application. This is causing erroneous information to be on my website that is putting my integrity in jeopardy. I have tried to use the support function on my dashboard, but after drafting a detailed email and hitting send I was given an error message that my email could not be sent with no explanation.

Pathetic - For a timeline app, even the dates can't be added easily

Awful!

The app does not work! Every new entry lists backwards so to change this you go to settings and change the order 'oldest to newest' but it does not change anything and reverts to newest to oldest every time you go back to settings. Too bad because its exactly what I need! As you suggested I have cleared the browser caches and restarted everything it simply does not work! Why you cannot have a simple drag system for the positioning of each entry?

Create an OK design for desktop, but it will make your mobile site impossible to navigate and the image will be a mess no matter what you try.

Doesn't even worth a single star. Not even should be listed in Wix App Store...

Has more bugs than a cockroach bin. You enter your event date, it reverts into today's date without asking.. It arbitrarily changes the order and doesn't even allow you to reorder. And does this ordering WRONG!!! According to this code heap, Year 2009 comes BEFORE the year 2005. Good for trolling and joke, but not a good piece of software.

Added it to test, removed it, and now I have permanent popups when I open my website editor

Buggy

Can't get the app to display vertically. Display in the browser flickers and doesn't display quickly. Not very good at all.

Not great

Ran into a surprising and serious issue with when a coworker duplicated a site with this app. On the first site the app was upgraded to premium. One the second, duplicated site the timeline was not upgraded. Despite that, and the fact that they were two separate sites, the changes made to the second timeline overwrote the content of the timeline on the first site. There is no option in the settings to manage multiple timelines, so it was clearly a bug. When I reached out they said they could not restore the oringal timeline from a backup. Even though this is the only dynamic timeline, its lackluster looks, tedious setup, and the range of issues you can read about in the reviews make it not worth adding to your site.

Widget Didn’t Load

was working fine until I checked yesterday.... 500 internal server error..

It has been a while since the widget is not working. The site has been down for a considerable length of time and displays an ugly 500 Internal Server Error wherever the timeline is used. Could you please fix the problem? Thanks Giorgio

Live site often down

The widget connects to their live site where your timeline data is stored so won't work without this connection. Twice now the site has been down for a considerable length of time and displays an ugly 404 error wherever the timeline is used. Come on Lumfish - get a grip - it's not hard to sort out the bugs listed in these reviews and after all we are paying for this!

Don waste your time

Crashes and loses all info. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I should have read the reviews before using this app.

Error message and creator publicly stated they will not fix

After spending hours on my timeline for my upcoming book releases all the way to 2024, the Lumish Timeline went offline with a 505 error. It will not let you contact the creator, despite saying "click here" to do so. After browsing the internet for the cause of the outage, the creator has responded to many complaints with "clear your browser cookies" and "turn off ad-blocker." Neither of these have worked and it has been made clear by other users. The creator continues to ignore this, repeating the same response. Clearly, the creator has no intention of fixing this issue or bringing this app back online. I do not recommend the use of their services for the lack of customer service and the lack of concern they show toward their users who have these websites to make a living. Update: Another example of the poor customer service is their response to this review. God forbid they take responsibility.

Not loading please fix

All info lost!

I have this timeline added on my website, suddenly in the editor mode, all info are lost!!! The info remains in the published website, now I don't dare sync until i spend time (lotsa) to add again in the timeline.

This app does not load

I've tried on my cell phone, laptop, and husband's computer - this timeline will not load. I've cleared my browser, too.

It won't work!!!

I'm trying to duplicate the page with the app by Adding A Page, why won't it work?? I can't make it vertical - I did it before but today it won't work. What's wrong with your app!!! It was working a few weeks ago. I'll change my review to 5 stars if you respond!

Simply Awful....

I have payed for the premium version of the app in the hopes that it was even marginally better than the free version but is simply awful. Many features don't work, such as the 'older to newer' button which does not update the timeline, the ridiculous max characters on a description is embarrassing, the scroll animation is jittery. You would think that given all these poor reviews there would have been substantial changed made but it seems not...

Good idea, god awful execution

Can't change text size, can't resize elements even when they overlap by default. This isn't a product yet.

It's so horrible I cant even...

Never seen an app that is trying to work more against you than this. You can't simply type a date and a year, you have to go month by month back in time. Trying to reach 1940? That's 900 clicks. Trying to reach 1349? You do the math.. Avoid at all cost, this app is there ONLY to get your dollars for premium. Shame, the idea is awesome.

SOOOOO STUPID. Does not work at all. You can edit the text or the dates. Wasted so much time trying to figure this out.

Total Trash, Does Not Work, don't waste your time

After spending two hours setting up this app, which appears to work perfectly from the Editor, once you Publish and view on your live site, it does not work. Always comes up with error message "Widget Didn’t Load, Check your internet and refresh this page. If that doesn’t work, contact us." "Contacting us" makes no difference. Wix does not even respond. Don't waste your time with it.

everything is terrrible. doesn't work properly in phone and can't change font size too. don't waste your money in it.

Utterly useless

This is a terrible app! Nothing actually works in the non-premium version, and was so bad I decided not to buy the premium. Wix should drop this from the site.

WHY, Lumifish...WHY?!

Liked how everything worked...until I realized that the entries can only be 160 characters...WHY? There is PLENTY of room to have more... Now I have to figure out how to set up a lightbox, then add a URL and try to link to it...requiring scripting anyways. What's the point? USELESS.

Didn't Work

Tried several times to change the text but it would keep resetting to the template.

Don't buy!

I tried to test the free version for a not for profit project I'm working on. Nothing worked... BUT you can see lots of other layouts with vertical/horizontal orientations and newest first etc. So I upgraded as the only app on WIX to do this feature and so others can edit... Paid the fee but still, nothing works and can't edit the support pages to add more content. So disappointing and look like a waste of money.
