    No longer usable for new customers

    This app no longer allows customers to book appointments unless they create an account and become members of the website. This is extremely frustrating and could end up costing my business a significant amount of money. Booking an appointment should be simple and accessible to everyone—both members and non-members.

      Hi, Booking without an account is the default in Wix Bookings, so clients should NOT be forced to sign up. This almost always happens when the Cart/Checkout page permission is set to 'Members Only.' Switching it back to allow all visitors (guest checkout) fixes it: https://support.wix.com/en/article/requiring-customers-to-sign-up-before-making-purchases .     Can't stop users from signing in

    I just want users to be able to book a time to visit our business. I do NOT want them to be forced to sign in to the site in order to do this. Very disappointing.

      Hi, you can absolutely allow visitors to book without signing in - it's the default. If clients are being forced to log in, the Cart/Checkout page is likely set to 'Members Only.'     Very Disappointing Experience with Wix Bookings

    I had high expectations from Wix, a company that’s been around for so many years, but Wix Bookings has been a huge disappointment. I wasted an entire week setting it up for my business, only to realize the calendar is outdated and full of limitations that make it unusable. Some of the most basic functions are missing: • You can’t view staff calendars based on their location. • You can’t search for client appointment info by their phone number. • You can’t simply drag and move appointments to different times. • Staff can’t be scheduled to work both in the shop and provide home services without creating two separate schedules, which makes no sense. For a company like Wix, this is embarrassing. We expect so much more. The booking system feels like it hasn’t been updated in years and is way behind modern scheduling tools.

    No sirve absolutamente para nada, no hay opcion de multiples precios, ni carrito, ni añadir varias personas a una misma reserva, no sumar distintas reservas de distintas excursiones, deberia estar prohibida. Desde 2019 que esto esta asi, no hicieron absolutamente ninguna mejora en 6 años. No me sirve

    No support for booking multiple date/time slot under a single booking

    If you offer a single session and multiple session on your website this app will not fulfil the multiple session requirement. It does allow mutiple service, however if you'd like you client to book the same service under the same order, it does not support that. Dear Wix, The fact that this is a bookings app, this is a basic requirement allowing the client to pick multiple date/timeslots and going through the payment gateway to confirm the order. It woul dbe nice to have an update on this soon. I'm considering other apps already for this very reason.

      Hi there, Thanks for your feedback. I can understand why booking multiple sessions at once is important for your workflow. Good news: Wix Bookings does support selecting multiple sessions for the same service and paying for them in a single checkout, as long as you’ve enabled Add to Cart in your Booking Settings. Each session is treated as a separate booking, but the entire order is processed together. If you’re looking for a recurring feature (like “every Monday at 10 AM”), note that Wix currently supports recurring scheduling only through the Owner calendar - clients cannot self-serve recurring bookings at this time.     Still No Custom Color Coding – A Long-Ignored Essential

    It’s frustrating that Wix still doesn’t offer the ability to color-code bookings by custom labels or service stages. This is a basic, industry-standard feature that nearly every other booking platform has had for years. I’ve seen requests for this dating back to 2022 — and yet, no progress. Crowded Calendar Layout – The schedule view is extremely cramped because the side panels can’t be hidden. I can only see a few staff members at a time, making it difficult to manage bookings for a larger team. Wasted Screen Space – The side calendar and filter panels take up too much room and can’t be collapsed. These features are rarely used, yet they dominate valuable space. Rigid Timeline and Booking Movement – The calendar is locked to 30-minute time slots, and you can’t move appointments in increments smaller than 15 minutes. This makes it hard to schedule short services or fine-tune timing. Many of our services are under 15 minutes, and the current system is too inflexible for real-world nee

    Upsell and cross-sell with other services

    Square and other APPs allow the client select several services together like rent a field + massage room. I can't do that using wix bookings

    It doesn't work

    I thought my client's could use the booking service without hassle but instead they get a option that says permission is not allowed when they try to book a service. Was it suppose to be like this? How can we fix this issue because I'm getting frustrated.

When creating services that clients can only pay for with a membership plan - it requires them to sign up to your site and purchase such plan (you can read more here: https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-about-memberships-and-packages) I see that 3 of 4 services offered on your site require that, while this is a wonderful way to create a community and loyal customer base - only 2 clients completed the signup. You can consider making the payment options more flexible (there's an option "per session or with a plan"), or consider adding an explanation on the advantages of becoming a member.     Einschränkungen bei API-Integration und Kalenderdarstellung

    Ich nutze Wix Bookings zur Verwaltung von Terminen auf meiner Website. Die Benutzeroberfläche ist intuitiv und die Integration ins Wix-Ökosystem funktioniert grundsätzlich gut. Allerdings gibt es erhebliche Probleme bei der API-Integration: Trotz meiner Rolle als Site-Owner erhalte ich bei API-Aufrufen ständig 403 Forbidden-Fehler. Die erforderliche OAuth-Authentifizierung ist für private Anwendungen übermäßig komplex, während die API-Schlüssel-Funktionalität eingeschränkt ist und nicht alle nötigen Berechtigungen unterstützt. Die Dokumentation bietet kaum klare Anleitungen für Einzelnutzer, was den Implementierungsprozess erschwert. Zudem kann die Wix App mit Kalenderanbindung keine 7-Tages-Übersicht darstellen. Viel Platz wird durch leere Bereiche verschwendet, was die Darstellung unübersichtlich macht. Termine sind nicht farblich nach Mitarbeitern gekennzeichnet, wodurch die Übersichtlichkeit und Nutzbarkeit stark eingeschränkt ist.

    NO GROUP BOOKING!! 😓😰😤

    The Booking feature works but clients are not able to book in groups so I have to do a lot of manual work to get around it but don't always have the time to do so which makes Wix booking quite inconvenient. I probably will stop using Wix all together and use another platform that will allow group bookings!

    Clanky and lack of customization

    Very simple booking order, but cannot add more option for duration, price etc. Only 1 service with 1 price/duration. Also no slideshow layout for it. This is 2024, not 2004 bro

    Se o cliente que fazer um appoitment por um período de 15 dias por exemplo, ele tem que criar 15 sessões diferentes. Claro, porque não há uma opção de fazer um agendamento recorrente dia a dia, apenas semanal. Então imagine seu cliente entrando e saindo do agendamento 15 vezes e recebendo 15 emails diferentes. Esse app é tao arcaico que parece que estamos em 1924 ao invés de 2024. Não recomendo!
