Easy to use but NO WAY TO TURN OFF MONTH TO MONTH PAYMENT!

It's easy to use and doesn't overcharge you a bunch of crazy fees like some of the other websites. I found the interface to be simple and I could add a bunch of features and questions if I wanted. That being said even if you choose monthly payments it will CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU $29 a month. There's no way to turn it off unless you contact WIX. Be sure to contact them immediately because even if you shut off your event it will CHARGE YOU the next month and over and over. If they update it to have a way to shut down payments when not running an event it would be perfect.

Has Potential

Fairly easy to use, but has some drawbacks. The event editing box is very limited in what you can do to customize the description of your event. Glitchy when you try to add any sort of special editing to the event. The widget only allows you to edit the colors of your event, but not the size or placement of text, logo, or any other pieces that one might want to customize on a website. A few days worth of good coding could completely revitalize this app. Please invest this time and effort to make this app worth using continuously. The Wix Events app has quite a few more features that I would like to see here.

Two Things I need

We run with wix to sell our event tickets but there are some issues with the app. Mainly it could be better developed to scan the QR code at the entrance to shows. Second, after someone buys a online ticket it would be greatly beneficial to add that customer's email to a list as to prompt annual return to the previous customer in following years. Are there ways to do either of these already?

This app accomplishes the basics but with a few little changes this app could exponentially get so much better!

Barcode scanner

Is it possible to scan QR or Barcodes, when guests arrives to the event?

Decent App!

Easy to use but limited..Not able to make mutiple ticket types that each have there own form questions. Have to use Evrntbrite instead. Wish this app could compare as it would have been perfect!

Bar code not usable

It looks as though people get tickets with a bar code but there is no way to scan in the bar code at the event. You have to look people up on a list and that takes too much time.

Needs a better interface for the end user

Been using this app for a couple of years now, simple to setup, run and implement. BUT, and this is a big one now, seriously when is the app ever going to be update to have a better interface for the end user? Something a little more modern with options for purchase buttons for individual tickets etc. Really looking around at alternatives because of this.

Question re Ticket sells

Along with the $17.50 per month is the customer or us charged an additional fee for processing? Or is it just the flat $17.50.

Will I receive money

If the funds are linked to my paypal account will I received my funds immediately as tickets are sold or do I have to wait until my event is over before I receive the money?

LAGGING!

The app takes over 20 seconds to load on my mobile app and 5-6 seconds on desktop. I think this is turning customers away. Please help because I really loving this for the first couple of months.

Could be better

Pretty good, but for something that costs money, I wish it had more functionality. There's no way to set a deadline for upcoming events, you have to just remember to manually close sales. If you buy multiple tickets, it puts it all on one e-ticket. Not even sure how the bar code is used, any scanner just picks up some unintelligible letters and numbers. There's also no way to group a number of tickets into a pack (like Starter Pack 5 tickets).

Canceling

I only have 2 - 3 events per year so I was told to cancel during the months I don't need but I can't seem to find how to cancel. I have already emailed with no reply.

Can I limit the amount of tickets?

Hi, Id like to only allow an individual to be able to purchase 1 ticket. Is this possible to limit? Due to the limited number of spaces, I want to avoid 1 person from buying 10 tickets for example.

Selling Tickets on Two Different Websites

I have two websites that I want to sell tickets through for our theater. One is live (for the performance company) and the other will be soon (for the venue itself). Both are on WIX. Can I use this to sell tickets on BOTH sites for events? If so, will inventory be kept up with on both sites?

Do I have to pay for a whole second acct?

I have & pay for the sell tickets app on my wix website. I just created a second wix website & want to use the app on that site too but it's prompting me to sign up for a free trial. Do I have to have 2 "sell ticket" accounts for my 2 websites or can I have one app for both sites. In other words, can I have one "sell tickets" account to manage both websites? And if I can have one how do I set that up?

I installed the application and set up my event, but when people come to buy a ticket when it goes to payment, send it to start paypal session or create an account, does not give you the option to pay directly with your credit card or Debit card like any internet purchase .. what can be happening? I need the client to have the option of using his credit or debit card without having to open a session on paypal

Think Kids camps

My friend and I are having a summer camp for kids, as well as other smaller art camps through the year. Average size will be 10-15 people. CAN you guys please make something like this for smaller venues??? (Maybe at 1/2 that price or a small commission). We can't find anything in Wix that works with this.

Hi guys, Im trying to launch my ticket sales, but every time i buy a ticket to test it, i get no confirmation, and am just sent back to the pay by card window (payment with stripe) Do you have any idea how to fix this? Cheers

I used the store app, and it didn't work for our needs. I canceled 1 day past the deadline. I was working to make it work... I have sent emails, posted on the facebook, did everything I can think of.. basically I am out of over $100 for nothing. This looks like a good app, (I had even requested rather than a refund that they credit my account). It hasn't happened.

Hey there, I'm thinking about purchasing this app for my website. I was wondering if I'm able to customize Earlier Bird and Advance ticket deadlines with the premium package. For example Eventbrite allows me to list two different price points for tickets as well as set a time limit for each option.
