Sell tickets

No customer service

I have used this app in the past with no problems, this time not so lucky. My website keeps saying the tickets are sold out, they are not, I have to add tickets which gives me no control on how many tickets I am actually selling. It has been a nightmare. I have tried to reach out to customer service several times but have not heard anything back. I am very frustrated and having to spend so much time trying to make sure tickets are available for purchase.

app not working! where is the form?

I have been losing thousands of dollars in sales for the past week or so! The form my client is supposed to fill is nowhere to be found! without the form, I have no idea who booked, for when, where, and booked for who?etc.. for sure someone knows what is happening and could fix it asap?! this was all working fine last month! what have you guys done?

app not working- costing me a fortune in lost sales

This app has been down in the week running up to an event and all sales have stopped. This Wix/ Sell Tickets problem will cost me a lot in lost revenue. They still havent fixed it after 3 days- not impressed.

Is anyone else having problems with this app, we have no idea if this company is still going or is the app down. Can someone help or give me a clue as to where its at.? thanks

Ok whilst it's working

There is no support on this app from the developer or from WIX, it's ok whilst it's working but when it goes wrong no one responds and you can't get any help.

Easy to use but NO WAY TO TURN OFF MONTH TO MONTH PAYMENT!

It's easy to use and doesn't overcharge you a bunch of crazy fees like some of the other websites. I found the interface to be simple and I could add a bunch of features and questions if I wanted. That being said even if you choose monthly payments it will CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU $29 a month. There's no way to turn it off unless you contact WIX. Be sure to contact them immediately because even if you shut off your event it will CHARGE YOU the next month and over and over. If they update it to have a way to shut down payments when not running an event it would be perfect.

It is not available for all countries

There is a very high possibility that your country's currency might not be included in the list of currencies on this application. Unfortunately, they didn't indicate the list of the countries before signing up or subscribing.

One of the worst apps ever

I've had this app for 15 minutes. It's impossible to create an event. Entire buttons for "create tickets" and other necessary options are just not there. Took 5 minutes of refreshing just to allow me to add an event name.. Will look for a refund and abetter functioning app.

It's ok

It's pretty simple to use however it makes me a bit leery to use an app of any kind that has misspelled words in the description or instructions. I know it sounds petty but as a professional I don't find it reassuring if they can't spell check their system. I would also prefer to be able to connect my square account for payments not just pay pal or stripe. I have not had success with pay pal & i have never heard of stripe.

Not there yet.

Good for simple ticket sales but lacks a lot of features found in other platforms like Eventbrite and Ticketspice. Needs add-on sales capability (example: t-shirts sales/sizes). Donations. In the age of Covid an e-signature for waivers like Ticketspice.

Simple to use & a great solution to high charging ticketing sites.

I really like using this app because it gives me total control over the tickets that I am selling. Being able to connect to my swipe account is a bonus. A suggestion that I think would work really well would be to allow for different layouts for the box office. It is currently very standard, and it would be great to customise it as you can with the rest of Wix. Overall, I am incredibly happy with this app as it allows for me to take more control of my ticket sales! 5*

Has Potential

Fairly easy to use, but has some drawbacks. The event editing box is very limited in what you can do to customize the description of your event. Glitchy when you try to add any sort of special editing to the event. The widget only allows you to edit the colors of your event, but not the size or placement of text, logo, or any other pieces that one might want to customize on a website. A few days worth of good coding could completely revitalize this app. Please invest this time and effort to make this app worth using continuously. The Wix Events app has quite a few more features that I would like to see here.

Scanning of Barcode

The Wix Sell Tickets App suits my requirements and is relatively easy to use. The additio of promotion codes is great. However, if Wix cannot create the ability to scan the barcode and record visitors I will have to cease using this. It is essential to be able to know who is at our event incase we need to alert them to a Covid 19 outbreak. In the future this will be a condition of running events, so without this interactivity Sell tickets App will be redundant. If anyone out there has a solution I'd love to hear!

Terrible Customer Service & Lots of glitches

Our sizable company has been using this for several years. Recently we've had numerous glitches - Voucher Codes not working properly, people booking tickets and paying, but nothing showing up on our registration end. Once the app sent thousands of emails to every one of my clients. They refuse to do phone calls and answer 1 out of every 5 emails for an urgent matter over the past month. A simple phone call could help to fix it.

I've been using this app for about 4 years now. Never had any problems. Easy to use and update.

Two Things I need

We run with wix to sell our event tickets but there are some issues with the app. Mainly it could be better developed to scan the QR code at the entrance to shows. Second, after someone buys a online ticket it would be greatly beneficial to add that customer's email to a list as to prompt annual return to the previous customer in following years. Are there ways to do either of these already?

Not logging Ticket Sales

Application isn't logging the sale of a ticket. So no information from the registration is available. I have contacted support, which is only by email (no phone number is available) and they only answer in the middle of the night.

LOST OVER $10,000 in sales and had dozens of customer complaints

BIG MISTAKE TRYING THIS. WE ARE A VERY LEGITIMATE HIGH VOLUME CLIENT Our ticket buyers have accused us of Wire Fraud The developer does not keep his PAYPAL connection current all the time. Therefore Transactions get charged to the customer but they never get returned to the cart and the App window just hangs telling the buyer to wait for confirmation. Buyers were afraid we had installed ransomware How would you like $10,000 in sales calling and emailing 48 hours straight because this app ruins your business reputation. Our company is considering litigation but were actually advised that someone of our experience should not have even tried a $75 3rd Party App, and we have a degree of responsibility and negligence. I feel like a complete fools for buying this. I am in danger of my Job after I clean up this mess and recover what I can of lost income. I DO NOT SUGGEST YOU INSTALL THIS IS YOU PLAN ON TAKING PAYMENTS. The developer has no response, and I am sure he dirtied his pants when he saw the volume come through and bounce. We are working with WIX Security and Fraud and our corporation is attempting to find the developers location hopefully in the USA to notify authorities of the acczarions from our buyers that we have committed wire fraud or ransomware. BAD - BAD - BAD - UPDATE: The first I hear from the developer support is 72 hours after our crisis, requesting revisions of our review. Not, I'm sorry for what happened.

It's OK but could be so much better

We're a medium sized 600 seat capacity theatre. We do alot of concerts and we use this platform because its white gloved and allows the selling app to be embedded into our webpage. We have been steadily using it for about a year and a half now and we are struggling with a few limited features. For example, there is no way to scan the barcode/QR code to check people in. We have to manually print a door list and check them off as they come in which slows down the line a lot - especially when 300-500 people are all coming in at once. Another huge disadvantage we are finding is that when 1 person purchases multiple tickets for their group (ie; purchases 5 tickets for a concert) they only get emailed 1 barcode for all their guest and on our door list it says John Doe x 5 - so when all the guest dont show up all together or at the same exact time we are sitting there writing down all the guest names which slows down the line even more. One more disadvantage is multiple day events, for example, a musical which runs 6 shows over 2 weekends. The tickets display "January 1 7pm - January 14 10pm" instead of just the date and time they selected. It confuses people and they don't know which time frame they actually purchased because it shows the entire run of the show. It would be great to see "General admission $25" and then the customer can select the performance day after that or vise versa instead of having to list them all individually. Some really good features are the low monthly pricing, easy and fast setup of events, the ability to charge any box office fee, or transaction fee you want!

Works well for us.

Our implementation of ticketing is somewhat more complex as we also have annual subscriptions to our season of three productions. Using the detailed export cover I am able to merge ticket sales with our subscriber and complimentary tickets along with additional comments into one clean seating plan. Our front of house and guests have seen an incredibly faster Check-in. They just need to remember their name and they are on our list. Our venue hold about 150 so the list is manageable this way. I can also produce a second list, if needed, with the names sorted for faster lookup. There are always ways to improve the service and we look forward to those. Simple and stable is best. Bruce

Simple but could grow

This app accomplishes the basics but with a few little changes this app could exponentially get so much better!

QR code and no scanning tool?

Just made us embarrassed in front of 600 guests that we should go up and down the list! Why do you guys create and generate QR code while there is NO scanning tool? who should I officially blame and open a law suit about this big misleading and time wasting app with no scanning tool or mobile app? unhappy guests! too much wasting time for check in! looks so unprofessional for my company as well.

Update End User Interface, Please!

This app really needs an update for the end user interface. You should be able to customize button style and color, header font color and style, body font color and style, the text that is in buttons and headers. The lowercase "tickets" in "Buy tickets" really bugs, as does the lime green "Next" button that you are unable to customize.

Barcode scanner

Is it possible to scan QR or Barcodes, when guests arrives to the event?

Decent App!

Easy to use but limited..Not able to make mutiple ticket types that each have there own form questions. Have to use Evrntbrite instead. Wish this app could compare as it would have been perfect!

Can I send my own e-voucher automatically?

Bar code not usable

It looks as though people get tickets with a bar code but there is no way to scan in the bar code at the event. You have to look people up on a list and that takes too much time.

Moving customersTicket times / dates

Hi There is it possible to move a customers ticket time and or date if they book the wrong one? also is it possible to manually book a customer in?

Add to cart

I have setup the widget for each one of my events and so far looks ok but is there any way for the purchases to be added to a cart so my customers have the chance to buy tickets for deiffersnt events and only go through the payment once and not for each event separately?

Needs a better interface for the end user

Been using this app for a couple of years now, simple to setup, run and implement. BUT, and this is a big one now, seriously when is the app ever going to be update to have a better interface for the end user? Something a little more modern with options for purchase buttons for individual tickets etc. Really looking around at alternatives because of this.

Along with the $17.50 per month is the customer or us charged an additional fee for processing? Or is it just the flat $17.50.

Aweful App that is miss leading

I have been using this app for the last 9 month to sell tickets to my event. Now im left with e-tickets with barcodes that cannot be read by any barcode scanners I have tried and when you emsil wix for help they dont want to know and have no solution. So we are left to manually check in 250 people into our event in less then 30mins.

Curriency

It would be great if Indian Rupee was added to the currencies options. PayPal India cannot sell in other currency and we can`t select India Rupee on Sell Ticket :(

Sending physical tickets instead of e-tickets

Hi, I wonder if it is possible to sell physical tickets i.e. customer pays for tickets so that this can be posted to the customer based on a generated sales summary of all sales instead of of using the eTicket feature? Daniel

Customize sell ticket app's text

I'm looking to change few of the text in the sell ticket app like: I want to change Buy Tickets to Donations. Also, I want to change TICKET TYPE to DONATION TYPE. Is there any way to do that?
