    Outdated function

This is a great service with an easy to understand webapp to navigate through. I was enjoying using it until I began to format my after sale email template. Unless you pay for a premium upgrade(and extra $12 a month on top of the basic plan), you need to to code your own template if you want to color, bolden, paragraph or dot point the text. How ridiculous! Very disappointing!!!

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. At the basic (Essentials) plan level, you are able to customize some of the auto-reply messages that gets sent out to the client under Settings > Auto Client Messages You have access to some basic formatting options such as bold, text color and hyperlinking. If you would like even more control over all the client email templates and advanced formatting, you can upgrade to the Business level. Ecommerce

Does this work with e-commerce? I had trouble connecting it to my stripes website. And I was told it doesn’t work with an e-commerce. Is this true?

    Stored reply

    1. Reply

You can charge online for services when booked, or invoice clients for payments later which can be done online or in some other format outside vcita (cash, wire etc). You can create separate payment links/buttons for anything, but there isn't shopping cart functionality. Currently the payment gateways we support are Stripe, Square and PayPal.

    Payment Gateways

Is it possible to integrate with other processors like First Data?

    Stored reply

    1. Reply

Hello there, Thank you so much for reaching out. Great question here! Normally, you could use Zapier to connect other 3rd party Software to vCita with no issues. Since First Data is more of a payment process, it does not appear you can do this. Our current payment processes are with Stripe or PayPal at this time. Please let us know if you need anything else! You can always reach us by clicking on "Contact Us" on the left hand side of your vCita Dashboard and use the various channels available to you. Thank you so much. -vCita Support Team

Payment NOT connecting to wix shop

s this service normally used for an online clothing shop? Is there a way for this step to be automated & not manual for the customer? They spend time shopping and choosing items and they still have to re-enter the items and prices manually by typing on your form? It makes the check out process a bit unprofessional in my opinion. Last the payment shows up in my notifications but does not show what products they choose from my wix shop, so I am unable to fufill orders with out sending an email again. Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.

    1. Reply

Hi there! Thanks for asking and sorry for the delay. Unfortunately vCita is not a good fit for online stores such as a clothing shop. I believe that is the source of the problems you experienced. If you would like to get specific assistance with what you mention we would be glad to have a look and help but for that we will need more information. Please reach out to us here: https://www.vcita.com/about/contact_us

i am extremely confused with the payment systems..

i have added paypal as a payment gateway then y wix is asking me to pay or upgrade premium to accept payments online??? Is it necessary..??

    Stored reply

    1. Reply

Hi there, Thanks for asking. You can use the vCita payment features on the free plan, but that limits you to collecting up $300 a month. If Wix is asking you to upgrade this might be something to check with them. We can investigate further if this on vCita and advise further but for that we need a longer conversation. To go that route please contact us via this link: https://www.vcita.com/about/contact_us Kind regards,

    credit cards anytime soon?

I've been reading the questions under the 'reviews' tab and it seems that only Stripe and Paypal are the only ways to accept payments still...even though people have been asking for as long as two years ago about this...what is taking so long? I really need an app to accept cc payments beyond stripe and paypal.

Q: "Hello, I'm try to integrate Stripe to allow my customers to subscribe by paying monthly, how do I do that? Thank you, it's urgent" A: À l'heure actuelle, nous n'avons pas de paiements mensuels récurrents disponibles. Nous sommes en train de développer une solution pour cela, et nous espérons l'avoir prêt au début de l'année prochaine. At this time, we do not have monthly recurring payments available. We are currently developing a solution for this, and hope to have it ready sometime early next year.

Price advertised is not what I was charged

The monthly charge advertised on WIX is $17 (if purchased as an annual price it says $12). I noticed this after I was charged $29 for the monthly fee. Can someone adjust this for me?

    Stored reply

    1. Reply

Hello there! Sorry for any confusion. Wix offers a special package which does not include all the features of a full vCita subscription. It looks like you must have upgraded directly with vCita instead of through Wix and signed up for our Essentials plan. Please reach out to our team directly so we can help you choose which plan is best for you. You can reach us through the Contact Us button inside your vCita dashboard.
