Purpose and Lying about abilities
On this summary page, the app claims to operate in 26 currencies, but doesn't outline those currencies. When you go to the website it states it works with ALL CURRENCIES. This is of course a lie. And I don't see the point of this app if it simply connects to your paypal. If you're just using PayPal what do I need this app for? I am paying for PayPal and this app monthly. Doesn't seem to be necessary.

Hi there, The online payment button is completely free to use, so you will be able to put a fully functional payment button on your website, connect it to your Stripe, Square or Paypal account and view and manage payments in your vcita account. Our premium plans unlock additional functionality, but they are optional. - vcita Team

Disappointing
Added my square and pay pal account mainly for my international customer to pay for my design services. When my customer click on the payment button they cant use guess payments. They had to create an account only to find they couldn't not pay by credit card. Most disappointing and will be looking for another service to add to my site.

Hi there, We're sorry for your negative experience! Square is only enabled in certain countries - this is a feature of Square and not vcita. You are welcome to switch to Stripe which is compatible with more international currencies. What does commission free actually mean?
Like many, if not most, of the reviews here, I too feel deceived by this payment system. I was using Square for payments and GoDaddy for my website. But, I decided to make the switch. And, because I figured I'd stop having to pay around 3% on my credit card transactions, the additional cost of Wix would be fine. Well, lo and behold, the first credit card transaction that was made resulted in about a 3% fee being charged. Additionally, it is expected to hit my bank account in 14 days from the date of charge! Square goes into my account the next business day. What a joke. So, tell me: since you advertise your payments as being commission free, what does that mean?

Unclear and too expensive
I'm wondering for people just starting out and not getting recurring payments yet - how do you think these prices will be? And secondly - if we don't need the scheduling and anything else - only payment - why do we need to pay for all functions? Is there a cheaper option?

Our plans in Wix start from Free and allow you to collect up to $300/month in online payments on that free plan. If you are collecting more than $300/month then the paid option for the Online Payments app starts from just $12.25. ZAR is a currency that works in vCita. Payments are processed through either Stripe or PayPal (you choose which one to connect) and I see that Stripe does accept ZAR payments.

Complete Scam
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY SCAM, they offer a free 14 day trial and SCAM you out of your money with fine print about conditions that are no where to be seen when opting for the 14 day trial! Everything they do when you first explore the platform prompts you to upgrade to premium with a 14 day trial. So of course I upgrade, because how can I know if the system will work for what I need without testing the trail. NO WHERE in the process does is state that upgrading to the monthly trial will not qualify you for the FREE TRIAL. SO alas, I check it out and a few days go by and realize this system is way to limited and will not work for what I need. I need to cancel my account. So I cancel on day 10 (well within the 14 day trial), and they get back to me stating that they will not refund me my $60 because I signed up for the monthly subscription as opposed to the annual subscription. COMPLETE SCAM of a service. Also be aware they only allow up to 2 staff as an add on option, with in the upgraded account. They do not allow for a place for clients to make deposits. They do not allow for any customizing on the booking form itself, only on the client cards. Very limited system. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

It provides a great opportunity for businesses to see if vCita is a good fit or not. We do not require any payment info to start the trial, and you do not have to upgrade to any plan during the 14-day trial. We are constantly updating vCita and adding new features to the platform. Hello! vCita does not limit the countries that use our system but the payment processors we work with do. We understand that some currencies are not currently supported and hope to offer more payment options some time in the future.

I regret paying for this
Once you pay for the subscription it does not give you the additional features. It wasnt even shown on my dashboard. To access it i had to go through vCita which just demanded more money to use the same service that i originally upgraded for. When i requested a refund - none was offered and no support to even help resolve the situation at least. Not interested and would not recommend.

Hello, We're so sorry you had this experience. Based on the info that you provided in your review it sounds like there managed to be a duplicate account created. We definitely do not want you getting double charged! Please reach out to us so we can resolve this for you. We do have a dedicated support phone and email line for our paid users. If you log into your vCita account and click the "Contact Us" button on the left-hand menu we will get your message and be able to help you out. It would be very helpful if you include any relevant account information so we can locate your accounts quickly and issue any due refund/credit.
