   crappy mobile change over

   My images look great on the desktop and then are cut off on the mobile. Almost everyone is going to be looking at my site from a mobile phone. It should transition over to mobile flawlessly. I'm disappointed and I 'm not sure how to make it better.

      Hello, we have entirely separate layout settings for mobile so that you can adjust it to look just right on both desktop and mobile devices, without having to select a single layout that may not work perfectly on both.    Pro Gallery

   Why is there no "Hover Design" option for the "Load More Button". Else where a button has its Visible & Hover Design option. And the Gallery doent provide it. Due to this, the Load More button does not look in sync with the rest of Buttons on the website

      The load more does not have any animations so there are not controls to change them, but you can change the color and text to fit better within your site's design.    Creating single image display gallery

   Hi there, I may be missing something here, but I'm finding it impossible to create a simple gallery that only displays one photo at a time (without thumbnails below), and simply has </> clickers below the photo that allow you to navigate to the next image. I want something very minimal - just a gallery that displays a single photo (either landscape or portrait) on a blank background and a navigation clicker. I don't seem to be able to do this with the slider gallery. Is this possible, or will I have to insert custom code for it? Otherwise, quite happy with the gallery app. Thanks a lot, Stefan

   Slideshow

   Slideshow should have the thumbnail resize "crop" and "fit" option. I feel like this app has so much potential, but is missing a lot that could make it so much better. Coming from being able to code my own website to just dragging and dropping, there is so much that I would like to do with my website, but am so limited to. Overall Wix is great, but honestly is missing some things that could really make it so much better. I feel as though a lot of the apps are a little outdated and are in desperate need of some upgrades.

    NICE BUT WOULD BE GREAT TO ADD MORE OTPION ON HOW TO EDIT.

    I am using a slide gallery on my main page. i found that it doesn't optimise image size and it takes me a while to figure out how to crop mages so they fit the window. Suggestion: would be easier if option to crop image to fit the window was built in the gallery, rather in main editing page. If it was possible not to only edit the quality of the image, but the image itself in slide gallery it would be more handy ad quick. Navigation Arrows... why are they visible? Why is there no option to get rid of them? They don't bother so much on the desktop view, but on mobile version, they are bang in the middle of the image... Doesn't look good. I hope to seamer improvement in future. Thank you in advance.

    Image scaling

    I like the overall look of the app but my only issue is that my images don't scale down to size, meaning half of my images are cut of and the others are in the frame. This is my only issue but a big one!

    Good but problems with mobile site

    I loved this on my desktop version but when I went to the mobile version, I found that the image descriptions were cut-off. There seemed to be no way to fix this on the mobile editor and I couldn't "fix" in desktop editor because all the descriptions were showing up fine there.

    I missed the option to sllide widthout arrows in mobie

    I hoped that the gallery would have the option to be touch slidable in mobie- but I didn't see amy option or any documentation for this issue. I miss it and I might not use it because of this.

       You can swipe navigate in expand mode on mobile.     Great potentialities but it is behaving bizzarely

    While uploading images and text to the gallery, the Pro Gallery album started behaving bizarrely and then I couldn't see the whole parameters window to change images etc. I have been stuck for one day trying to recuperate my design of the gallery and still haven't succeded. I have to start all over again ;(

    Problem with Layout "Miniature"

    Nice to use but there is a problem with the Pro Gallery type "Miniature" … You Don't have all the possibilities than with the other layout. You cannot change the size of the miniature, neither adapt, etc … Is it a problem for Wix or it is like this ?

    Not sure what the problem is

    I can't make any of the pro galleries work on my premium site. When I click on settings the window is blank, and when I try to change the images nothing opens. Very weird- the regular galleries work just fine. I can't seem to find any troubleshooting sites to address this issue. Update: I finally got the app to work the next day for a few hours, then the same problem occurred on and off. Clicking on the settings works sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't. When it works it's great, but I didn't like wasting time trying to make it work when it would not.

    1. I would be happy if I could determine the color and size of the arrows. They are currently white and are swallowed up in the background of my photos. 2. I would be happy to determine whether the texts are visible or not at any given time (and not only in Hoover) and if I could add texts under the picture and not on the image itself. Thanks!

    It gets the job done but needs more ability

    It was very difficult to fit the images into the slider layout. I then realized that the button you have to click for it to slide it so skinny and difficult to see since its white on a white background. We need it to automatically slide which isnt an option or have the ability to change the color of the button to make it slide, maybe even add a width adjustment for the button on the slider.

    Love the image quality, wish we could "fit" the images in the thumbnails layout

    My client would love to use these galleries since the image quality is so great but you only seem to be able to "fit" your images into two of the ten or so gallery layouts. She wants to use the thumbnails layout but doesn't want the site to cut off areas of each of her images until the viewer opens it on the white background. It would be great if this functioned the way the thumbnail layout works in the non-pro galleries where you can size your fit your images accordingly!!

    Hover over image needs to be mobile friendly

    It is hard to navigate on mobile when the image titles/descriptions are set to display on hover and images are directly linked to a page (instead of Expand Mode). There needs to be an option to display title/description on mobile (maybe convert the gallery block to a strip with multiple columns where you have texts over images).

    Good tool BUT you can't structure you discription!

    It is a really nice tool BUT when you add a discription to the picture, the hover doesn't show paragraphes, so if you try to structure discription it doesn't work. Other words, you add your discription text to the picture with paragraphes and on preview when put the mouse on this picture the dicription doesn't have this paragraphes at all... All is in one paragraph. Please add this option guys!

    It's ok, but the options for Mobile are way to basic

    As most people view on mobile these days, the gallery really needs more options for mobile. For example, showing a grided gallery. The only option seems to be having individual images to scroll through. This looks clunky and unrefined. Fix this, and add more mobile options and this would be 5 star

       Thank you so much for your feedback. It sounds like you want to have a desktop grid layout for mobile? If that is true, you can do this by disabling the Mobile Friendly option on your site. This will give that effect, although it is not recommended because we have found the larger image view to be easier for people to browse on mobile devices. Nonetheless, if you have more ideas you would like to share with us about how we can improve this app, we would be very happy to hear them at progallery@wix.com

    It's great and everything, but the images do not expand properly in mobile mode!

    I am planning on re-reviewing this when that bug is fixed. I love this gallery and the way it's designed and its functionality, but the images just can't seem to display/expand properly in mobile mode! It is kinda annoying since mobile views factor in at a higher rate than desktop views these days. Fingers crossed hoping that issue gets fixed...and quick!

    Bug lors de l'affichage des titres sur les images

    Sur mon site, j'utilise l'application pour afficher des drapeaux. Ils défilent sur une ligne en continu et quand je clique dessus pour chaque drapeau j'ouvre une page. MAIS le texte, le titre pour être précis, est coupé dès qu'on dépasse la taille 13. Correction urgente demandée !!!

    Really easy & beautiful, but slow and no single pic downloads

    [EDIT] Well, I actually reviewed the wrong app (we're using Wix Albums, Not WPG). And, Wix actually fixed the single photo download bug remarkably quick, so this review is basically moot. I would delete it, but can't see a way to do that. We recently started using WPG to build out a photo sharing area in our password-protected members area. We have several big events every year and take hundreds of photos which we make available for download. The WPG app is really pretty (although limited number of design templates right now), very easy to use and presents really well on the live site. However several issues are forcing us to look for an alternative. First, we have many hundreds of photos for each event. We have tried organizing them in pages in the albums, but even so the thumbnail loading gets really bogged down when editing. It also seems that albums are limited to a max of 8 pages? If not, I can't find a way to add more. Second, enabling the "Allow download" option only seems to enable users to get the whole album page as a zip file. Our users need to download only the individual pictures they want - not everything on a page. I realize this app was design for photographers to present pics online and protect their digital rights. But we're looking for something with all the same features, but doesn't worry about digital rights. Our members have already paid a fee to participate in events and free access to the individual photos afterwards is part of the benefit for that fee.

    No adjustments in mobile mode

    I really like the gallery when in Desktop mode, but it'S kinda ugly when in mobile mode. I Wish, that I had more options to modify the gallery in mobile mode instead of just makingit smaller in size. Why Can't I have the Images side by side when in mobile mode?

    Focal Point / Image Gallery Bug!

    The view in the top right corner of my photo gallery if offset to the right. So I can't change the focal point. I've tried replacing my images with WIX images and nothing changes. Everything else works okay other than that small bug.

    Pro Gallery is AMAZING, but.......

    I love Pro Gallery and all its features and I would give it 5 stars, but I am having trouble with unstable behavior on the smartphone, particularly when the phone is turned sideways and then upright again. Have others had these problems? I've sent an email about this with more details...

    Why, oh why, can't we get auto scrolling?

    Is there a gallery that will show a bunch of small logos across the page and automatically scroll them right-to-left or left-to-right?

    great for desktop view... not mobile

    the desktop view looks awesome - love the hover look. although this does not translate over to mobile view and its impossible to add any text on moblie so the pictures are blank

       Hello and thank you for your review and feedback. We have just added a new layout feature which allows you to post the title of your photos underneath the thumbnail which may be helpful for you on the mobile view, although there may be even more improvements for mobile in future versions of the app (stay tuned). As for the text not showing at all on mobile, this may be a bug. Please email progallery@wix.com with a link to your gallery and let us know what mobile device, OS and browser you are using.

    Great, but I can't allow clients to download photos

    Looks pretty good, but my clients cannot download photos from the client albums. I followed the user guidelines and it did not work.

    Sound?

       Hello and thanks for bringing your question to us :) The sound is only meant to play in expand mode at this time. However we can add your request to have it play in the thumbnails as well to our feature request list.

    When I want to use as slide show, it doesn't show up on mobile.

    I wanna only use slide show as 100% width but it doesn't appear on mobile. desktop is ok. I wanted to use this if it worked for both :(
