    -1 Star: The navigation arrows in the gallery are white, un-customizable and so hard to see!

    Great app for the reasons listed in other reviews. One major flaw: If you are using any of the slider choices in the Wix Pro Gallery to display your images, your website visitors may not notice the faint, white navigation arrows! And after reaching out to Wix Support (I thought I was missing something) they confirmed that there is no way to change the arrows to black so they can be seen against a white background of a website. What is the point of having a gallery if people don't notice that they can sift through the images?

    bug on mobile version

    hi there, I used this gallery for my artist website, very easy to use. but on the mobile version, I am not able to see the text when you click on each image. do I have to do something or is something missing? thanks philippe

      Hi Philippe, The pro gallery on mobile does not show hover text because there is no such thing as hover on mobile devices. What we do have is the option to show titles underneath images in some of the layouts. Perhaps this would be a good solution for you at the moment. In the meantime, we will add a request for a better way to show text on mobile to our feature request list. We hope we will be able to improve it for you in a future version.

    Horizontal tiles titles

    Great app, but strangely enough you can't place visible titles under the pictures in the horizontal tiles view, they are only visible with mouse over. Vertical tiles are ok... Could somebody from the Wix developers switch this on please? ;-) Tine

    Nice Apps but something can be improved

    It's nice to have a heart given and share media button in the gallery. But for the mobile view, thetitle , description cant not be shown, it would be more convenient for mobile user if it can be shown.

    Pretty darn good as is ~~ room for some simple features

    1. YouTube playlist link scraper - would be cool if you could add an automatically updated channel feature, similar to Wix Video - where you can enter a playlist URL and have the app detect a playlist 2. YouTube video title + description scraper - After adding a YouTube video, I had to manually copy the title of the video and the description - maybe have an automatic scraper that copies the content from the video link? 3. Hover on autoplay - looks greaaat! BUT - possibility of removing YouTube watermark on bottom right? (that may be hard given it's hard-coded within the YouTube API... i'm not sure) AND, would be cool if there was an option to revert to the original video thumbnail AFTER the hover action is completed?? All in all - this is already an awesome app! Keep it going Wix team!!!! :)

    Hover overlay problem

    I set up the gallery and for the most art it works great. I do see a problem with the hover overlay, it's not working properly when applied. Please take look at it and see if I m correct or if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks.

    Expand mode

    Hello, i really like this app, but i have 2 questions. 1. when i open a photo in expand mode and than close the big picture on the X key, the gallery goes to the start, and not from where i pressed the picture in the middle of the gallery. how can i change it? 2. can i change the color of hover from grey to another color? thank you :-) Yael

      Hello Yael, 1. The gallery should close back to where you were when you opened the image. If this continues to malfunction, please email progallery@wix.com for help. 2. Yes, you can change the hover color from your settings pop up. If you click on your gallery, hit the Settings button and then the Design tab in the pop up and open the Text & Background area. You will see the color adjuster.

    WHITE SPACE

    Hi! i love the app, but i'm having a problem with an unwanted white space under the pictures since i'm not using the like or share buttons, on the other hand i would like to know how to add back arrows o you can move bothways Thank you

      Hi and thank you for your review! It sounds like you may want to choose the 'Slider' layout rather than the 'Slide Show' layout. This one has arrows and does not have the big space under it. If you need more personal help with this, please feel free to email us directly at progallery@wix.com

    Fantastic Gallery! (but 1 request)

    I love this gallery! I use it as a menu to my portfolio for my videography business, the auto play video feature on hover makes it a perfect menu to showcase a short clip of the overall video! The only problem with this is I can't use the link feature (clicking the video) to link to anchors. It only links to pages, making it useless to me, but thats the only thing holding it back. Currently I have a transparent button over the middle of it, leaving room on the sides so the button doesn't interfere with the hover autoplay feature. This is my only request, and I believe it to be a fairly valid one at that. Please implement this soon!

    great addition but expansion mode not working

    well i was keen to create my site and have finally created up will be publishing soon ,.!!! i found out pro gallery and that added more to appeal of my gallery , but on clicking the photos they aint expanding :/ i tried playing with settings and make changes but that seem to have no change hope so there is a solution for that soon

    Some Functions are not working!

    I love this new app, but the promised functions are not all working properly: - Add Text: Unable to customise background colour, font type and font size. It is not working! Bg colour can only be white for now, and the default font can never be changed to other font/sizes - Photo Title & Description: Unable to save the title and description, everything is empty! - Drag and Drop to rearrange the photos: Buggy, I can't really drop them where I want, the photos keeps jumping around. - Laggy: Slow to load, Slow to refresh, even when I set the quality to only 70... I do like the idea of this gallery though, please debug the above functions soon!

      Thank you for your feedback! I just checked the Text component and I was able to change the background color. Please try it on your end: Go to the manage media, click on the text item and click to customise it. The text editor will be open. On the right side of the pop up you'll see the ability to change the background color. Please make sure that the opacity is set higher than 0. As for the title & description - it should be working now as well. Please try again. As for the drag & drop, we're working to fix this bug asap. If you have any issues with the above or have any other feedback, we would love to hear! Please email us directly to progallery@wix.com and add your site URL so we can check this out. Thanks!

    Love.. but..

    I love this gallery option and would love to use for clients, but I wish that it had the option for clients to place orders and purchase images. I hope that this will be something in the works soon :)
