absolutely horrible.. trying for a whole day to get it to play single player videos.. What the hell is wrong with your company! I will never recommend Wix to anyone.

Video is online. Apparently. End of story. No working statistics, no reports, no lists, nothing to see in the mobile app. no E-mail for automatic reports. What is this app doing??

The Studio Version is worse than the old Editor version

Forced to use a layout that can't be customise, can't get rid of 'sign-in' buttons and can't select single video anymore, have to use a channel. Utterly useless app.

Stunning Gallery and Design are not available in Studio

Extremely Bad

This applet is in no way appropriate for any modern website. It COMPLETELY lacks any meaningful layout controls and forces a tiled grid layout with what seems like deliberately punitive restrictions. I feel like this is unacceptable for the price of Wix Studio plans to not have any better alternative. I will have to build one myself from scratch.

Wix Video Player feels like travelling back in time 😭

As product builders, marketers and Web developers we need modern and flexible tools that WORK. Unfortunately, the Wix video player isn't one of them. No layouts. Minimal customization. The "video strip" format is extremely uncommon and I haven't seen a single website that uses it. How does Wix expect site owners to "sell their videos" if this feature is missing even the most basic functionality and styling? If this post gets 100 votes, I'm sure they'll fix it.

Adding Videos to Site

WIX really needs to fix this feature. If you upload your video library on the WIX dashboard, you have to then go into the editor and add the app again. I only know the steps using Studio Editor so apologies for anyone else, but the only differences will be the location of items. HOW TO: When you're in the editor, select the left hand panel. Select the Icon with 4 boxes (App Market( Search "Wix Video" or "Video" Select it, and then press "Add Again" Once you do this, you will be able to display your videos.

I am not able to upload my videos says I cant cant find a way to reach out to support to help trouble shoot.

Desktop version doesn't have same features than mobile

It suffers from little customization, it doesn't give you the option to edit the playback page and the mobile version isn't worth it.

Just use YouTube

The site is self is not bad for simple things but when your content gets complicated as mine does it is terrible. I can't use or offer a mobile access option because all the content gets jumbled. As far as video goes, I won't even try it. I recommend getting a good video editing software, make your content and make a YouTube channel and have video page on your site that links to your content.

DO NOT USE WIX IF YOU WANT TO OFFER VIDEO SOLUTIONS

This app, and the entire platform itself, are a kick in the ass and a headache for any no-code designer, because no traditional designer would dare to use Wix for their work. IS BULLSHIT. The x editor is supposed to be more advanced than the traditional one but there is no difference, or yes, IT IS WORSE, I don't know why it is a "different" product, apart from the fact that many existing and already developed but basic and necessary apps CANNOT BE USED in the x editor, the wix video app is INCREDIBLY LIMITING, it is in the traditional editor, but in the x editor it is practically useless. The normal, traditional and UX friendly thing about a VOD service is that when you enter the page the videos are displayed in a vertical gallery or grid, well guess what, in the x-editor you can't do that. It only shows a sliding row, you have to stop your project and wait for the company to make changes in the app, even when all those comments, requests and forum wishlist asking the same shit.

아니 연마다 돈을 지불하는데 뭐 이런걸 서비스합니까? 채널 수정하는데 버그가 어마어마하고. 순서도 다 깔로 맞췄더니 지혼자 뒤죽박죽 되어있고.. 동영상 14개 추가하고 더 추가하면 하단에 영상 나오지도 않고 ㅡㅡ 2년 남아서 어쩔수 없이 쓰는데.. 2년 후 아임웹 국내걸로 바로 갈아탄다 더 싼데 서비스도 더 좋고 아임웹이 더 나은듯

Not working as expected in Studio

Three sites I mange in the regular editor have ther YouTUbe channels connected and it works great. Here in Studio, I can add the feed as a channel, but the setting for widget neve populate with any settings. This means I can't link the Channel to the widget no matter how many times I reload the page, exit and restart the editor, the setting panel is always blank. This one needs work to work in Studio

It is infuriating.

If I add it to my site it appears on top of my page. I set up a separate page with a video and tried to have a sign in for it. Didn't like how that works so I removed it, but it won't go. So now it is not possible for anyone to watch that video unless they sign in. I am so frustrated.

I don't get it

Tried to display videos in a channel but I get errors in the embed code. All info points me to the videos needing to be marked as public on Vimeo but that means they can also be found just be going to Vimeo which makes no sense if I'm trying to sell the videos on my site through a membership. It seems to be an iframe issue. What's weird is if I just add the single player to a page with the video link, it works fine. But when the video link is added to the library, it errors. Wix doesn't respond for help.

BAD app!!

I'm going crazy loading a normal video gallery into the pages!! I insert the videos from YouTube, I save the channel but when I go back to the edit page it shows me other contents! When I click on settings to change fonts, names, etc... I just see a blank white popup! No assistance!! Wix you are really bad!!! Shame on you

DSGVO nicht eingehalten

Einfache und gute App. Leider werden die Cookies von Youtube immer direkt geladen, welche nach aktuellen Urteilen nicht DSGVO konform sind. In der Wix Video App gibt es leider keine Möglichkeit die Videos von Youtube im erweiterten Datenschutzmodus einzubinden. Daher ist die App ziemlich unnütz und schlecht..

can't handle 60fps

after a long chat with a representive about why my videos were failing to upload they pointed me to a help article that talks about file formats. It says that you have to use mp4 or mov fine but you can't use more than 30fps. At this point most cameras and every cell phone is capable of shooting 60fps and almost every device is capable of displaying 60fps it not higher. Completely useless until the up the frame rate

Bug no wix video

Quando eu tento fazer uma livestream(Vídeo em direto), o lugar onde deveria estar a transmitir fica sempre a "tentar carregar" e quando acabo a livestream, a aminha livestream fica corrompida.

Absolutely Dysfunctional in Editor X

It glitches in and out. You juts get the design right and it resets itself. Not compatible with Editor X even though they say it is. Great concept, terrible reliability

Audio won't work no matter what

I tried uploading my video in all the supported formats by Wix, the audio won't work no matter what! very disappointing.

Setting button not fucntioning

The setting button has not been functioning for quite a while now. The only thing popping up after I clicked on it is an empty window which I can do nothing with. There used to be a lot of things I need there to customise my video selections and for that reason I cannot update my website right now. Require IMMEDIATE FIX.

Worse App

Sometime you have to wonder what is happening in this company, when they design their APPs. So many bugs and issues. We are already a WIX premium user, in fact we are paying for multiple sites and host various sites with WIX - yet we cannot use the WIX Video APP as it requires a premium plan which we already have... WIX surely knows how to push its customer out in the cold.

Thumbnail importing leaves a lot to be desired

Importing videos from Vimeo or YouTube works great but ultimately, I don't use the plugin because of a lack of customization of how videos are displayed and the fact that the thumbnail imported is very low-resolution. There is an API that allows downloading a high-res thumbnail.

Lack of customization

Need to work hard on improving your text customization (size, position, etc). You need to make a better job at improving size customization for video, most of the options cant be customized and you end up with a solution that doesn't work because visually its not compatible with your visual requirement.
