Not happy with it

NO GRID view, CAN'T customize size font on tablet CAN'T select video already in the site/storage HAD to upload it again CAN't customize the margin sizes... It's making my site look ugly.

Missing key customization

This app seriously nees more love from Wix. Fundamental customization like video aspect ratio is missing. Too bad if you have vertical videos....

Meine Videos erscheinen trotz eines anderen gewählten Designs auf meiner Website als unübersichtlicher Stapel. Immer wieder meldet Wix beim Verändern der Einstellungen völlig random ich wäre nicht der Eigentümer und könne diese Einstellung nicht vornehmen. Eher ärgerlich. Es sieht umprofessionell aus auf meiner Homepage.

Don't bother if you're using Wix Studio

The gallery option is not available in Wix Studio (just the slider). No bueno. What's the point? I need a way for users to filter and sort videos in a gallery. Also, it's not possible to round corners. boo.

Classic Video Layout Design Flaw

As others have mentioned when using certain layouts like classic, you can't change the color of the text and play symbol for the below videos, or the title on the thumbnail of your featured video. It forces you to use white. This is an obvious issue given it can clash with your overall site design, and, you are actually allowed this design flexibility with the other layout types offered. With the strip layout you can actually choose the color of the play button, as well as the thumbnail color. Please make the design flexibility consistent!

Not good enough

I like the App....but it's not polished enough and not at all customizable enough to use in Wix Studio. There's pretty much no alternative layout options, no single video player, and minimal customization so you can't use it to display grids, or a video library well. (in Wix Studio)

Cannot select scheduled live in wix app

I am unable to select a specific scheduled live video in the Wix app in order to start it - making the scheduling process redundant and forcing viewers to have to reload the page to view the new live video.

Issues on Wix Studio

Sadly, it works better at Wix Editor than Wix Studio as it doesn't give me options to what videos I want displayed.

Too limited and too expensive for being so limited

5 Hours on a Core Plan and 10 Hours on the Business Plan are way too few hours. Having to move to a $199 plan to get more hours is absurd. There should be a way to buy more video capacity instead of a new plan.

Very very limited features

I cannot show the full description or format the video description. I cannot showcase more than 10 videos on a page because of the app's limitations. I only sell videos and not having a full video catalog is very limiting

Meh..

This app is ok but the layout options are limited and leave much to be desired. The most annoying part is videos ALWAYS play full screen in a seperate window. It would be so much better if they played in place with the option for the user to maximise to full screen if they desire. All I want is a carrousel for videos and this isn’t it unfortunately...

App doesn't work well in Editor X.

Again.....functionality is fine on the back end and dashboard, etc. But it doesn't work well with Editor X. Responsiveness is janky, and you can't customize the layout or anything. Doesn't have the same options as the regular Wix Editor. Most of Wix's "business solutions" don't work well from a design perspective in Editor X.

Load time is super slow for Thumbnails on web desktop version

I've been using Wix for the last four years and have noticed that something has change on the Wix Video app. It seems to have slowed down when loading the thumbnails. They used to load up quickly, but now they take forever to load. I understand the "iframes" are being loaded by the Vimeo server and not the Wix server - therefore slower - but what changed? Anyway, still waiting for customer support to get back to me. --- Maybe I should try TubePress or iPlayerHD Video Hosting?

Einstellungen funktioniert nicht - seit Wochen der selbe weiße Screen. Ändert sich nicht. Lädt die Videos von YouTube nicht, erkennt keine Shorts. URL vom YT Kanal = lädt immer nur das gleiche letzte Video hoch. Keine Möglichkeit die Anzahl der angezeigten Videos zu verändern.

Wish there were more Options.

I want to display my videos in pages like a wix post list, but I want a few in a vertical column on each page. There isn't an option for that. Also, no design customization, just a blank screen. If I don't have a wix video on my site itself, it disappears from my dashboard, which is annoying because I want to use the library function, just not the widgets. Note though, I have not taken the time to ask for assistance or google anything. But it shouldn't need it.

Wix video settings doesnt show up stays white

I added the wix video because it is free but some time now when i want to enter the setting it loads then the loading thing is gone but the screen is white i can add the videos or remove them but i want to change the background etc but i cant wix please fix this

I found this recently and thought it was good, I had about 70 cartoons I wanted to add to a website and I uploaded them all. But more than half of them didn't upload and said it had limited space. So Wix if your reading then please make it so you can add unlimited videos

not much

I can't see anything on the settings window. I'm trying to customize it and simply cannot. It's so difficult to understand the UI of this app. I don't even know how to select the videos I want to display here and I've been trying for hours.

30 Minutes Total Upload on Free Plan

I was really disappointed to find out that the free plan only has 30 minutes of total upload time!

Missing the most basic feature

We need to be able to create "folders" or "sub-channels" inside these video channels!! For example, we have a dance studio and we upload videos from each class. I would name a channel "June" but inside this channel I need to create sub folders with each date in June that we had a class.

Please, linking to plans & pricing subscription, i want add my channels from wix videos to my own pricing plan!! "Wix video subscriptions" don't help me for selling my videos! And please, add feature in channels on wix video that we can set limits of downloads per user based on the pricing plans!

It needs to be better

It looks good to basic video selling and design language syncing. But it is missing many necessary functions such as: basic filter, filter by video properties(resolution, length, fps), powerful searching, auto show basic video properties on description, buyer dashboard, coupon code, discount... I need Wix Video have functions same as Wix Store and optimal for video products. Hope Wix have a schedule to develop it soon and seriously, I'm ready to pay more. Thank Wix.

Mirror video

Mirrored video version and different angle and speed adjustment bar would be super helpful for my website.

Cropped heavily in mobile view

This app does not support maintaining 16:9 (or wider) video when viewing on a mobile and is cropped to 4:3 format. Useless from a creative perspective.

BIG PROBLEM ! sell video content without protection !?

No protection and control over user accounts by IP or by number of simultaneous connections ! How to sell your content without having your content looted if there is no way to protect it! ?

LiveStream

I tried using this app to make a livestreaming website and it's not doing a good job, there's no comment sections for mobile, my clients can't go live whenever they want, also one of the biggest issue is the server key expires every 1 hour, i also noticed i have to be in the editor when someone goes live, i wouldn't recommend this app unless they fix this issue.

Mobile not working

Myself and visitors to my site complain that the video player doesn't work - particularly when viewing from mobile. All my videos are links from facebook. Not the greatest app...

Better than none, but not exactly what I hoped it would be...

Lots of pluses to the app like being able to organize, monetize, and edit video functionality. To test out the app, I created 3 channels with several videos in each one. The display however, only shows one channel. There is a search function, and a categories function, but giving the videos a category didn't help because not all the categories displayed in the dropdown selection. I'm disappointed bc of that. We currently have a website page with manually placed videos grouped by headings like music, conference 20xx, sermons, etc. I'd prefer that all the videos displayed, but I'd still be happy if there was a catalog list/dropdown so that anyone of the channels could be displayed. I thought a work-around might be to just replicate the app for each category of videos on the site, but only one install of the app is allowed. This app has the right idea, but still needs a lot of work to make it truly usable.

My whole account is British but it's taking money in dollars. I will only have British people purchasing the videos so this is not very helpful! Anyway to change that please?!?!!!

this app is bugging out. I loaded a youtube channel and all was well and now it won't sync on my website and I can't even reload the channel in the manager without getting an error message telling me to check the YouTube URL and try again. The channel is public so there's no issue there. If I can't get my videos to load, I'll have to use another service to create this site :(

Not able to sell a proper video course

Cannot sell an online video course... A bit upsetting. Great that you can sell individual videos but no help for creating a full online course that students can log on to watch through the course start to finish and keep track of where they were up to. As well as being able to sell the videos as one big pack as opposed to individual ones. Perhaps if Wix could come up with a similar app that would be amazing. Wordpress has the add on and many other websites offer this. Might have to change to wordpress if this app doesn't get developed soon and I don't want to have to do that because I like Wix.

Auto play only works on mute.

Great except cannot autoplay with auto sound. Can you please fix this?
