Difficult to configure, but works very well

I was apprehensive to install this app on my website because of the poor reviews. I was close to uninstalling it after running into problems getting it to work and difficulty in configuring it how I wanted, but after battling through that, it works great and presents my videos in a very professional looking GUI for my site visitors. I'm very happy with it.

absolutely horrible.. trying for a whole day to get it to play single player videos.. What the hell is wrong with your company! I will never recommend Wix to anyone.

Excelente aplicativo, para ficar perfeito só faltou a função de tocar os vídeos aleatóriamente (shuffle). Coloquei mais de 300 videos em 4 playlists e ficou ótimo! ------------------ Excellent app, the only thing missing to be perfect is the shuffle function for playing videos randomly. Video is online. Apparently. End of story. No working statistics, no reports, no lists, nothing to see in the mobile app. no E-mail for automatic reports. What is this app doing??

Finally, A Simple Solution That Works!

After trying two paid apps to show my videos, I’m so glad I found this one. It’s way better than the others! Everything works seamlessly, and it actually does what it promises without all the unnecessary hassle or high costs. Finally, a no-nonsense app that delivers what I need at no cost, not asking my orders info, not proposing my to make all things myself, not pretending to work better that it is. HYowever, it's unclear from the app name I can use my Youtube vids. Wish I would know it before I tried 2 paid apps.. Definitely a winner in my book!

completely useless app

This is unbelievable – what a completely useless app. Absolutely worthless for anyone working in film. If I could give it –10 stars, I would.

Not happy with it

NO GRID view, CAN'T customize size font on tablet CAN'T select video already in the site/storage HAD to upload it again CAN't customize the margin sizes... It's making my site look ugly.

The Studio Version is worse than the old Editor version

Forced to use a layout that can't be customise, can't get rid of 'sign-in' buttons and can't select single video anymore, have to use a channel. Utterly useless app.

Extremely Bad

This applet is in no way appropriate for any modern website. It COMPLETELY lacks any meaningful layout controls and forces a tiled grid layout with what seems like deliberately punitive restrictions. I feel like this is unacceptable for the price of Wix Studio plans to not have any better alternative. I will have to build one myself from scratch.

Wix Video Player feels like travelling back in time 😭

As product builders, marketers and Web developers we need modern and flexible tools that WORK. Unfortunately, the Wix video player isn't one of them. No layouts. Minimal customization. The "video strip" format is extremely uncommon and I haven't seen a single website that uses it. How does Wix expect site owners to "sell their videos" if this feature is missing even the most basic functionality and styling? If this post gets 100 votes, I'm sure they'll fix it.

No aspect ration, no layouts, no search, nothing of that sort, no filter sort, add few mroe features

This app seriously nees more love from Wix. Fundamental customization like video aspect ratio is missing. Too bad if you have vertical videos....

Add Grid Layout Option for Wix Video App in Wix Studio

Hi Wix Team, I’d like to request an important feature for the Wix Video app in Wix Studio. In the Classic Editor, the Wix Video app includes both Grid and Slider layout options, allowing greater flexibility in how videos are displayed. However, in Wix Studio, only the Slider layout is available — the Grid layout is missing. For many projects, especially portfolio-style or educational websites, a grid view of videos is much more practical and visually balanced. Adding this layout option to Wix Studio would greatly improve content presentation and align Studio’s flexibility with the Classic Editor. Please consider adding a Grid layout option to the Wix Video app in Studio. Thank you!

Einstellungen innerhalb der Website schwierig

Meine Videos erscheinen trotz eines anderen gewählten Designs auf meiner Website als unübersichtlicher Stapel. Immer wieder meldet Wix beim Verändern der Einstellungen völlig random ich wäre nicht der Eigentümer und könne diese Einstellung nicht vornehmen. Eher ärgerlich. Es sieht umprofessionell aus auf meiner Homepage.

Deleted from my dashboard without warning?!

For some reason this app deleted from my dashboard and now my videos and captions I was getting ready to sell has been lost. DO not recoommend

В целом неплохо сделано. Но есть очень плохая новость. Все видео, которые будут размещены в WIX Video не индексируются Google. Но проблему не исправили даже после 2 х месяцев общения с техподдержкой.

Adding Videos to Site

WIX really needs to fix this feature. If you upload your video library on the WIX dashboard, you have to then go into the editor and add the app again. I only know the steps using Studio Editor so apologies for anyone else, but the only differences will be the location of items. HOW TO: When you're in the editor, select the left hand panel. Select the Icon with 4 boxes (App Market( Search "Wix Video" or "Video" Select it, and then press "Add Again" Once you do this, you will be able to display your videos.

Die App Idee ist sehr gut, die Umsetzung funktioniert noch nicht perfekt. Der Support zu dieser App ist leider nicht erreichbar! Dazu kann man sie nicht auf € umstellen. B

Wix video easy to use and works well but Wix video won't be much use if we can't get Google to list our videos.

Boa proposta, mas faltando melhorar

A versão mobile não fica bem aplicada. Os titulos aparecem mesmo estando desmarcado para aparecer. Não tem configurações exclusivas para o mobile (alem de vertical e horizontal). Tem tudo para ser um bom APP para o site, mas merece um pouco mais de olhar cuidadoso no desenvolvimento.

a esa app solo le falta agregar canales dentro de canales, en pocas palabras agregar sub-canales, seria cool al hacer clic en un video del canal y se reproduzca un video o a un subcanales y se desplieguen una series de videos para reproducir cualquier episodio.

Desktop version doesn't have same features than mobile

It suffers from little customization, it doesn't give you the option to edit the playback page and the mobile version isn't worth it.

I liked the features on Wix Editor, but since using Wix Studio, I can't display videos in a grid format, only a single layer. Please fix.

Just use YouTube

The site is self is not bad for simple things but when your content gets complicated as mine does it is terrible. I can't use or offer a mobile access option because all the content gets jumbled. As far as video goes, I won't even try it. I recommend getting a good video editing software, make your content and make a YouTube channel and have video page on your site that links to your content.

DO NOT USE WIX IF YOU WANT TO OFFER VIDEO SOLUTIONS

This app, and the entire platform itself, are a kick in the ass and a headache for any no-code designer, because no traditional designer would dare to use Wix for their work. IS BULLSHIT. The x editor is supposed to be more advanced than the traditional one but there is no difference, or yes, IT IS WORSE, I don't know why it is a "different" product, apart from the fact that many existing and already developed but basic and necessary apps CANNOT BE USED in the x editor, the wix video app is INCREDIBLY LIMITING, it is in the traditional editor, but in the x editor it is practically useless. The normal, traditional and UX friendly thing about a VOD service is that when you enter the page the videos are displayed in a vertical gallery or grid, well guess what, in the x-editor you can't do that. It only shows a sliding row, you have to stop your project and wait for the company to make changes in the app, even when all those comments, requests and forum wishlist asking the same shit.
