    hidden pricing

    why do I have to install the app, set it up, and only then do I get the prompt to upgrade which tells me the difference between free and paid version? I searched everything on the Wix side, went to your website, still couldn't find the comparison and pricing its been deleted before could try it! For others to save you looking - you can upload 50 names in total before you have to pay

      Hi, Thanks for reaching out. We are very sorry to hear you had this bad experience. Like most third-party apps on the Wix marketplace, we are a freemium app, no one tries to hide it. Apps let you try out the app before you need to purchase it and we are no different. On top of that, we only charge the minimum amount that premium apps can charge on the Wix marketplace. Wix shows the upgrade comparison table when you click the purple button. But with any questions or concerns users can email us and we respond quickly. We are not a free application, we never claimed to be. We have our expenses as a company, just like any company. Good luck with your website.

    What does this app even do, I have to log in mail chimp outside of the website

      Hi, Thank you for your feedback. Our app helps you collect subscribers to your Mailchimp lists. In order for the app to be connected to your Mailchimp account and have permission to send your subscribers, you must log in to your Mailchimp account via Oauth authentication. This is a one-time thing just to set up the app and give it permission. Once you have finished with the log-in you may select the Mailchimp audience you wish the app sends your subscribers to.

    something is wrong with this app it isn't displaying correctly i purchased the widget on 2 of my websites for full subscriptions and there is a user face error please fix! www.mindgem.org and www.meditationcircle.org

      Thanks for your question. Like most apps, Contact Collection is a third party freemium app on the Wix app market. So no, your status with your main Wix account does not affect your upgrade status with the apps on the Wix app market.

      Hi, our support team would be happy to help you resolve the problem. You can contact us at: support@contactcollection.com We have thousands of websites connected to Mailchimp, we would be glad to help you be one of them. Usually problems are caused by misconfiguration on the Mailchimp side.

    Totally useless

    If you need to collect any information other than the three provided fields it is absolutely pointless. There would be many companies like ours that want to target campaigns to subscribers in particular states rather than the shotgun approach to mailing lists. The lack of such options makes that app barely more than a novelty.

      Hi, The app's main purpose is to integrate Wix sites with Mailchimp. It's not fully automatic, you need to authenticate using your Mailchimp account and choose the list you'd like to use. This integration is currently live on thousands of sites, if you're having technical issues we invite you to email us at support@contactcollection.com and we will be happy to help sort it out.

    Get a more Customizable Design

    Why I cannot move de suscribe button around? I want to put the "suscribe" button alligned with the email address box and I CAN'T

      Hi thelovibe, We're sorry you didn't find the exact customization you were looking for but we do allow you to customize a great deal of options on the widget, including three locations for the subscribe button. We will consider adding a fourth option for the button to be aligned next to the field.
