My website is dark themed. This is designed for light websites. Half the colour settings are missing so I can't change the colour to black.

Forums was better

Groups really lack the features and functionality forums had. I really dislike the new groups and since they don't meet our needs, I have to find an new alternative.

Less functionality than forum

Loss of ability to search posts and comments has seriously devalued the functionality available in the old forum. Members can no longer find relevant items

회원들이 그룹앱에 한번 더 가입해야하는 심적 부담감이 강합니다. 홈페이지와 자동으로 연동이 되었으면 좋겠습니다. 본문의 텍스트 크기는 자유롭게 변경 가능한데 댓글 텍스트 크기는 일정사이즈 이하로는 변경이 안되는것 같습니다. 폰트를 작게 해서 깔금하게 정돈하고싶은데 폰트사이즈가 크니 디자인적으로 지저분하게 보입니다.

Email capabilities

I need the option in Groups for ALL members to receive an email when a member posts information relevant to all site members. The automation only allows me to pick 20 people to receive the email when someone posts a new topic in Groups.

Why removed Forum ?

Meh

It pretty much sucks. It needs a lot of basic improvement. I'm having troubles with some people not being able to find my group (even though all settings are correct and even wix help cannot figure it out) When you type in the post it puts all your words together no lower line so its hard to read. The views are all messed up and I cannot figure it out. Its a bit of a mess but i guess its better to be off fb?

Add options for how to view the feed

it will be good to view the feed like a gallery similar to instagram etc

Needs wayyyyyy more functionality!!!

The funcitonality is ok but its just basic besides the options to add things to a post. First, the whole transfer from the forum to the Groups is a disaster. I cannot combined my forum categories to one group or merge groups. I cannot control some settings like the VIEWS count, which i dont want to be shown right now. The formatting of the Groups feed is so simple its ugly. Lots to be desired. And when you do away with the FORUM, I expect better!

scaling problem

there is a really bad scaling issues where its trying to resize to fit common screen size but in the proses it doesn't understand which scale it wants. so it glitches, it also jumps around becoming un readable. a real bad issue that needs to be fixed!

Unübersichtlich und nicht für eine Community geeignet

Schade dass das Forum abgeschafft wird, weil es die Funktionen hatte, die ich gebraucht hätte um meine Community besser zu managen und die Übersicht war auch weitaus besser. Übersicht: Da würde ich mir in der rechte Anzeige so etwas wie einen Tree-Übersicht wünschen. Sonst muss man immer die gesuchten Beitrage erst finden und durchscrollen. Managment: Fand die Idee mit Abzeichen und den Exklusiven Zugang zu Beiträgen und Kategorien ziemlich cool gelöst und wäre auch wichtig gewesen für meine Ideen, meine Community zu managen.

Missing lots of features.

When someone comments on a post, there is no way to get a notification. Only the owner of the original post will receive a notification. There is also no way to show an activity feed, based on most recent comments. The activity feed will only show most recent posts.

Wix Groups is just broken!

For starters, Wix Groups is NOT a Forum replacement. It's lacking what an open community forum is. Why force members to join? When in the forums where they could just post and view? Secondly, I had my forums connected up to repeaters on pages & Wix Groups does not allow CMS to connect to the collection at all and Thirdly, on the mobile site version when I click the + sign to attach something to a post, the links are dead, you tap it, and nothing happens! Works fine on the desktop version, but not on mobile! Fix it or simply remove groups and keep forums rather! My forum transfer to groups broke everything, posts, uploads, and comments are all mixed up, and it's duplicating contacts now!

Cette amélioration est CRITIQUE pour le bon fonctionnement d'une communauté... - Retirer l'accès aux membres de poster vidéos, photos, gifs, code etc... - Faire en sorte que les nouveaux membres soient intégrés à certains groups. - Proposer une interface d'autant plus modifiable - Sur smartphone impossible de cacher la "recherche" (la case à cocher ne fonctionne pas) - La recherche ne permet de chercher que dans les posts et non pas dans les commentaires. - Plus de modifications de design dans l'espace commentaire (Police d'écriture du noms des membres par ex.) - Possibilité de modifier post et commentaires et de pouvoir les déplacer de group

uploading photos, videos, files and group search button does not work on mobile

in desktop it works. But in mobile not working. it is not a problem only for my mobile, in any mobile does not work it. Yesterday AI helped me, but no reply yet.

PROBLEMS

You must fix the error in the app quickly, we have this as the main source of traffic on the page. Then you can't leave things without a technical review like you do now! We lose a LOT if this is not addressed..

You need to be able to turn off the comment feature.

Needs Work

Having serious problems getting this setup.. 1. Main groups feed keeps getting a 404 error. 2. Paying members are still unable to see the group(s) they have subscribed to. 3. None of the "JOIN" buttons for the groups are working, and can't see them in the backend to edit. Hoping to get some help with this.

Notification Issue

Not all of my members are receiving notifications according to their settings (email, app, and website). Also, posting in groups is sometimes glitchy with hidden menu buttons and errors in uploads.

Wix groups is okay, but it needs work. I hope that Wix will code the app to send notifications immediately, not an hour after being posted. Lately also, when I go to create a post, it duplicates the post and has the text from the last post in my new post.

EMAIL DYSTOPIA

WHY CAN I NOT CHANGE NOTIFICATION SETTING TO DEFAULT TO NOT SENDING EMAILS WHEN LITERALLY ANYTHING HAPPENS??? Look, I don't want my users getting inundated with hundreds of emails about group activity. How do I make it so email notifications are disabled for all current and future groups? I'M LOSING CUSTOMERS!!!

Need to be able to have all Groups Display in the Add On Feed.

Hi there, All of the groups need to display in the feed the same way the social feed works in the Branded App. I implemented the Social Feed in the Members area, but it only lets you select one group instead of all of the groups such as a typical feed would display. I can already go to a group and see all of the feed of just one group, but the point of the Add On should be that all groups display in the feed non-stop.

Wix Groups

Wix Groups is impossible to use. The apis for groups are limited. There is no way to create a post or share a post programatically. These are basics, I would expect wix to provide these apis and to provide good documentation.

Keeps Crashing

Maybe the script is dated, every time I post, the app crashes or times out for about 20 to 30 minutes. Which makes me concerned if this app can handle real traffic and multiple people posting. Can you guys fix this? This app has a lot of potential. Thanks.

Doesn't live up to its potential

I hate that it is an all or nothing option. I can't make changes to individual groups other than whether they are private or not. I'd like to add passwords to some but not others (and have different passwords for each group). Also, if I add the group list to a page I would like to select which ones are listed, not all of them. There is so much potential, but this app is lacking.

Dommage que les "membres Admin d'un groupe" puisse ajouter des membres public sans les inviter!

Une fonction de bon sens, simple et logique manque, le fait qu'un "Membre Administrateur d'un groupe qu'il à créé" puisse ajouter tout les membres public du site sans leur consentement amène une expérience utilisateur négative pour la communauté! L'appli est top sur nombreux points mais cette absence de fonction la rend quasi inutilisable sinon de rester seul admin de tout les groupes... S'il vous plait, permettez aux créateurs de groupe "d'inviter" les membres du site uniquement à le rejoindre et non de permettre de les " Ajouter" sans consentement . Cela représente un risque d'utiliser cette appli sans décevoir les utilisateurs qui se retrouvent ajoutés à des groupes sans leurs consentements. Cette appli est d'autant plus liée à l'appli "Programme" qui permet la création d'un groupe de ce programme. Un Ajustement des pouvoirs d'un "membre Admin de groupe" devrait permettre de désactiver cette possibilité qui devrait être réservé qu'à "l'administrateur du site".

Confusing

I am simply trying to add text to the community I've created. Every time I click on the view button or figure out where I should input text it populates a menu that has nothing to do with what I am needed. This part is frustrating. Please fix it.

not as advertised

The description claims " Easily control and moderate your groups' content and access." No. There doesn't appear to be any way to moderate content. Customer service rep in an online chat confirmed this.

Really hard to ensure experience is consistent

Hard to manage the details within the app, particularly control over the content. While all help articles point to one thing, the admin items available don't match the support pages.

Poderia ser melhor!

Personalização é muito chata, tem q dar personalizacao para cada botao não juntar, poder dar mais opções para cada membro que criar seu grupo poder personaliza-lo com sua cor ou uma imagem de fundo, opção de minimizar o quadro de adicionar membros, e informacoes, e fora que está muito travado, o app e muitooo travado, deem mais atenção ao app por gentileza.

Limiting! Needs custom permissions

Good concept BUT needs ability to set custom permissions. I need it to have where anyone can view the group and the posts in it but you have to ask to join.

It is limiting. I would like to customize the tabs to what is needed for each unique groups. I also would like to see where I can control what is posted to the group. For example I do not want a member to create their own discussion. I would like to be able to be the ONLY one who can post the topic to talk about. Also I would like to customize my own tabs. Like I would like to post directly to the media tab with pre recorded info I want the group to see. etc.

Would love to be able to sort groups via category.

Because I have MANY groups - several based on city, it would be great if I could list categories to make it easier for members to narrow down their group search. I clicked on "Write an Email" that service a not working. :( Thank you!

1 ) dovresti permettere che i membri di un determinato gruppo possano fare una ricerca sugli argomenti trattati nel gruppo magari attraverso i hashtag, comunque una ricerca altrimenti è un insieme di pubblicazioni senza senso. buttata li 2) le pubblicazioni si dovrebbero poter condividere individualmente (nei gruppi pubblici) 3) si dovrebbe poter cambiare font, impaginazione. insomma è tutto uguale non si può emozionare. 4) sarebbe interessante che nei gruppi pubblici ci fosse la possibilità di limitare i membri a commentare e basta. Se tutti pubblicano chi gestisce il gruppo non riesce a seguire una linea guida dell'obbiettivo del gruppo 5) il widget dei gruppi dovrebbe dare la possibilità di pubblicare solo il gruppo che interessa non tutti i gruppi per questo c'è già la lista. Tipo nel blog che io scelgo quanti post pubblicare in una determinata pagina attraverso i tag e le categorie l'app è interessante noi la stiamo usando ma potrebbe essere più utile con più funzioni

Great...but group owners shouldn't be able to add people on a whim.

This feature is fantastic and was exactly what I was looking for. However, a critical flaw is that group admins can simply add any member of the site without their permission. I would like group members to be able to accept or refuse an invitation. Until then I will have to approve of people who want to create groups and explain to them that they shouldn't invite everyone on the site to their group. I'll also have to hope that no one attempts to abuse the feature. If better invitation approval could be something you incorporate into a future update that would be amazing!

Eigentlich Gut, aber Mobile Version lässt zu wünschen übrig

Warum kann man die Schrift nur entweder SEHR gross oder gross wählen? Schriftgrössen unter 14 wären Vorteilhaft, ansonsten wirkt alles sehr überdimensional! Danke

Not much to be honest its more of an updated blog.

The app is slow to load. You can't re-arrange the topics you post so you have to go back delete them all then add them in the order you want them to show up. There's not an option for live chat either which sucks.

comprei o melhor dos planos achando que seria bom, mais é horrível do mesmo jeito lento não dá em algumas seções a opção de podermos modificar alguns nomes e forma ,as vezes não carrega o aplicativo e quando carrega é lento e uns vídeos e até foto demora de carregar, o wix é horrível dinheiro jogado fora plano de 3 anos.

I like the concept, but....

I like the concept of this app, but what I don't like is the fact that you add people to a group and they automatically have administrative privileges. For example, a member was able to delete another member's post without asking for permission. I would like to know how this can be changed. Not only that, but when you set all the members to private because they don't want others to know who they are they can toggle the privacy and view everyone in the group. I would like to know how you can give group members permission to create a post without giving them Admin permission. If this can be fixed I would be happy to rate this 5 stars.
