    Paid to upgrade and now the App settings will not load

    I was using the free version of this app, and said what the heck, only $30.00 a year, I'll upgrade to the paid version. Went to edit the Content and now the Apps Setting won't open

    Ok

    I am disappointed that I am paying an annual fee for this service, yet still have see the advertisers branding. I figure if I pay for this, why does this still showing.

It should be noted that the billing is done by Wix and not by us, but I'll gladly look into your case as soon as I hear from you.

    Widget is not stable does not load

    While the widget features are good, experience is not great. Widget does not load, crashes many times, and stability is a big issue. Guys please take this feedback seriously and fix it. Wix also needs to own up the integration issues for better customer experience.

    Works but Lacking

    Free version of the banner states you can have 3 news items BUT you can only have TWO. The third 'free' news item has to be their branding. Disappointing. We get it, the branding needs to be there. I'm not against that. But if it states 3 free news items, let me have 3 actual news items of my own.

      That is simply not true. Please count again. The free version of the app allows 3 news items as stated. *In addition* to those 3, a 'branding' item is shown (in the free version, and is gone when you upgrade).

    Constantly timing out

    It freezes, stalls our website and every program our computers.

      Hi. Thanks for your feedback. I wish you contacted us through the "contact us" form so we could give you a more specific assistance. In general, our News Ticker doesn't consume much CPU so it shouldn't freeze or stall on its own. But in order to implement animation it needs some attention from the browser, so if you have heavy animations or videos on the same page from other elements, the News Ticker might not work smoothly. To check whether the problem is in our app or not, you may open it on a separate tab and see. On Firefox, right-click the News Ticker on your live site, choose "This frame" and then "Open frame in separate tab". In Chrome they removed this feature so it's more complicated but if you contact us I'll guide you how to do that. I'm sure you'll see that on its own the app works smoothly on all modern computers and browsers.

    If only it was stable!

    This app enhances our website but since installing them upgrading , it has proved very unstable - often stalling and crashing.

    unable to resize

    there is no way to resize the height of the ticker and that is not useful at all.

      Thank you for your review! As explained in the app-settings (see https://www.screencast.com/t/umX7mApN0Bu) the Banner Layout has an automatic height. This is because it is a layout of one-line and therefore it is meaningless to set it with arbitrary height. The height is adjusted automatically to fit the font that is chosen by the user.

    Unable to resize to a small horizontal top bar

    It's not useful to my work unfortunately. The horizontal news ticker which I want to add on the very top of my webpage is not resizeable small enough to avoid the top menu being covered. It's too big.

      Thank you for your review. As I've just written to you in response to the "contact us" you sent to us, the height of the app in the Banner Layout is automatically set to fit the font that you choose for it. If you are still bothered by the space that is left for aesthetic purpose above and below the text, you may simply and easily drag the app and/or the other elements on your Wix site up and down so that the space is hidden behind other Wix elements on your website. Anyway, I must say that personally I don't think I agree that this makes the app "not useful". If you need further assistance, don't hesitate to contact us again and we will gladly help you. In almost all cases we respond within 24 hours and do our best to help.

      Thank you for your feedback. The News Ticker in the non-premium plan presents an attribution to ourselves, just like Wix presents their banner in websites that are not in the premium plan. This is normal. The monthly price of this app is the minimum permitted in Wix app-market.
