    It's gone to crap

    Today went to update FAQ T section and it refuses to show the new content no matter how many times I click "done" then "publish", and on top of that, the coloured background "banners" each question sat within have vanished despite all the settings subsequently being checked. What the hell is going on? And no, I do not wish to revert my site back to some earlier version as that would undo hours and hours of time spent adding products. Oh, also WIX, why is the font so TINY for the category names that appear at the top of the FAQ area for visitors? At this rate I might have to just do a main menu link then sub category pages instead of using an unreliable app that there are loads of complaints about. This is really shoddy when people are trying to run a business. Get it together WIX

    Used to work fine in Editor X. Now is buggy and frustrating.

    I had previously installed this on an Editor X site and it was working as it should. I have now come to do amends on it about a month later and having some very frustrating issues. I keep setting the width to 100% and it keeps changing itself to different settings from 25% to 111%. Every time I do amends I have to change these back to 100%. Even if I leave the page in the editor and go back they have changed. Super painful. The height also keeps changing from auto to a fixed pixel amount. Pretty please fix team Wix. Thank you!

    Can't Open FAQ Settings

    The FAQ settings button doesn't appear to be working. Once clicked, it just shows a blank white box. Please advise how to fix it. Thank you!

    Embbeded videos not working?

    So far I've been loving this feature but not it seems that if you host a video within one of the questions you get the message saying 'this video is unavailable ?!?! Can you please fix it?

    Works okay, but has some browser bugs...

    I've experienced a couple of the other issues I've seen expressed here, but my main issue is that the app doesn't work with certain browsers. Someone said it didn't work in Safari, but not on other popular browsers. I feel as if I have the opposite issue where I have to double check that it does function in Safari rather than Chrome or Firefox. We either need a huge improvement on this app, or we need more options.

    Inconsistent Editing Features

    Update: Still doesn't work. UPDATE: - Wix cutomer care (bot) Response: tutorial on how to use FAQ app. & requested a call-back. - Customer care (CC) Luis: shared my screen. No problem when HE made formatting changes & saw I was unable to do the same. Luis referred my case to someone who could fix it. - CC Daria: emailed FAQ tutorial + Wix Chat upsell info. - Me: Reiterate the issue. - CC Vasyl: forwarding your issue. - CC Nick: did not find my FAQ app. - Me: "It's there" + info about issue - CC Nick: sorry & sending it to someone else. - Me: waiting...... Original post: MANAGE QUESTIONS edit bar: Bold, Italics, Underline, text alignment, bullets does NOT work. It worked in the past. Now I cannot change margins, bold, bullet, number, etc. in ANSWERS. The Wix tech support confirmed this, but when they escalated this to someone who could fix it, I was emailed a FAQ App tutorial. Unhelpful! I suspect there are more glitches with the FAQ app; this is the one I'm finding so far.

    Wix FAQ is not working in live site

    I used Wix FAQ long back and it was working fine but suddenly it has stopped working, I am unable to open the strip even in the preview mode in editor, the same in live one as well. I tried to contact the support but unable to reach them as well. Please give me a solution soon .

    Great app in theory with poor implementation

    Nice app if there weren't: -Fake and faulty default SEO data embedded (Check Google's Structured Data Testing Tool) -No support for multilingual sites -Long loading times

    Slow Loading Time

    The app is great and all but it takes too long to load when you open up the page. Most of my visitors change the page before even seeing the menu because it takes too long to load, this needs to be fixed asap.

    Too Slow To Use

    This app takes about two minutes to upload, which is much too slow and I think most visitors would just log out in this time. Also - Design options are very limited.

    Not that good

    The app takes ages to load and when it does the same happens to load the questions & answers editor. Now I am half way and cannot finish the job. I don't know if this is a temporarely issue but I am a bit disappointed.

    Crapy App

    The text edit options (font, bold, bullet point) have disappeared. Trying to add a video takes the patience of a monk. Text randomly disappears with no option to recover. Very pourly executed app.

    Mobile interface

    The feature is great for the website but really problematic for the mobile interface. I do not have the ability to edit the size of the font on a mobile phone and the text creates really small.

      Hi, unfortunately there is no automated way to do that... You will need to copy-paste the questions manually

    Almost perfect.

    You are missing one feature to make it perfect and that is the option of automatic closing of previously opened answers. When opening a new answer, the rest should close. Only one answer should be opened. The way it is set up now, if FAQ's is displayed in front of an image, when opening every answer the image background expands every time, distorting the background image.

    Only a limited amount of FAQ's

    I'm trying to establish an online FAQ about property loans, and the template is limited in the amount of descriptions you can make to every headline. When I save changes, they don't show in the preview mode, and not publish mode either.

    FAQ App is good... but not in Chrome. :(

    The FAQ App is really easy to use and view... if your using Microsoft. It can't be edited or viewed in Chrome. And since that's primarily what we use, I'm very disappointed.

    Problem linking

    It's just a click to add the faq, however it just adds up a page without a "faq menu" on the menu bar, neither can it be linked using a button or tex. How can anyone navigate to the faq page without it. Hope it will be resolved soon. I love wix overall though.

      Hi, one of the improvements we added to this version of the app is the right to left support. In order to switch to right to left alignment open the settings -> Layout tab -> Alignment. See right to left

    Make it is so you can like many things...

    What if I want to link in a lightbox or something else. I can't. Add these different link buttons quickly. It shouldn't be hard. And please don't tell me you've added it to your wishlist. Just please do it!

    Glitch-ridden, design-limited, ended up removing

    I was extremely excited to see this App available, however using it was another experience. I ended up removing it as it was more trouble than it was worth. -Once you add Categories, it never lets you remove them without removing that questions, only transfer them to other Categories -No ability to format Categories - font or colour (hence why I wanted them removed) -No ability to format Header, Question, or Answer backgrounds individually -No ability to add hyperlinks to the Answers -Regularly glitches out when using - sometimes not saving your work, other times sporadically trying to "move" items without clicking on them Social sharing was a nice element, as was the ability to add media to the answers. This App is a move in the right direction but there is more work to be done - it is not as complete as most Wix Apps are - I'm a little disappointed. I would suggest creating an App called "Interactive Lists" that would work for much more than FAQ. If you improve design flexibility and streamline the backend to remove glitchiness I would be all over this App.

    Images and video is distorted and it keeps losing my edits

    Pros It is an improvement over the previous version because you can insert it into any page and have more questions Cons At the time of testing (July 2017) it is quite buggy! Images and video cannot be properly sized and end up looking distorted. I keep pressing the 'done' button instead of the 'tick' button, so I lose my edits. Even when I do it correctly, I still seem to keep losing content. Still not fixed Still no line spacing between bullet points. Internal links look different to external links and there is no way to style them. If you hover over an internal link, it does not display the link destination in the browser's status bar, so most users might not realise it is a link or they will not trust where it will take them. In my experience, it is not really usable at the moment, unless you only require something very very basic and resist the temptation to add links, images and videos.
