URL Link issue

Can't get my url links to fix themselves. Visitors can't visit their personal pages. Honestly awful, need this fixed asap!

Terrible and hard to use

This is a terrible upgrade from the previous Wix functionality that we used. It's hard to manage and our customers hate it!

Member role deletion, workflow process is inefficient

Areas for Improvement I have updated the site and now need to edit or remove some member roles, but finding where to manage them has been unexpectedly difficult. Role Management Challenges I have searched Google, ChatGPT, and Wix's own resources, but none of the instructions have worked. Even after thoroughly exploring the platform, I still cannot find a clear way to edit or delete member roles. Adding members and creating roles is easy, but managing existing roles is not intuitive. The workflow feels scattered, with too many places to search and no clear path to the right settings. Approval Workflow Concern I also do not want users to become site members automatically by entering their email. I want them to submit a form and be approved before gaining access. Main Frustrations • I cannot find a reliable way to edit or delete member roles. • Roles are easy to add but hard to manage. • I need manual approval for new member access. • The experience feels clunky and time-consuming.

So one is meant to be able to add custom pages to the members menu that sits within the members page. Only one can't complete that. Shame because it doesn't allow you to add consistent members pages. Missed opportunity if you ask me.

It sucks

Looks good and seems to roll out well but then you start to have issues with its appearance, etc.

Needs better text customization

For the members list widget, can someone please make the placeholder text in the search bar editable? Same for the dropdown menu that says "all members" it all needs to be customizable, pleeeeease.

No way to edit the login page. I.E add logos and such

It's should be improved

While changing the primary background color in the Design tab into dark, the fields such country and region makes white hover effect which doesn't let read the content with the white letters. It should be improved.

Clunky

This app could do with some improvements. It is not very user friendly for older members. I think I need to look for an external solution as there is nothing else in the wix apps that will work for a group of artists who each need a profile. The backbone is there it just needs polishing and a few bugs sorted.

Membership Disappearing and Permissions Lost

The added membership frequently disappears without reason. For instance, I assigned Member 1 to Identity A, but the next day, they were no longer associated with Identity A, rendering them unable to access the corresponding permissions. This issue is causing significant inconvenience

It slows down the site a lot

It slows down the site a lot and even when I do a like on the product the product is not saved as a like please fix it

Wix Members Area Profile

I wanted to update the correct information it keeps giving an error message and please refresh screen and that does not help please fix!

It does not let members edit there site logo from my experience.

I can't add the "my profile" page

For some reason i can't re-add the member profile page, it goes to an infinite loading screen for no matter how long. I've already tried deleting cookies and cache, still won't add the member page. it only shows the option on spaces (wix app). idk what to do.

Fighting with design choices

Whenever I would change the design, save it, and preview it, it would remove all my chagnes and revert back to the original. I couldn't reorganise the menu to show My Account at the top, I don't want a subscription for my website and every time I would delete the page and everything, it would constantly re-add it. I felt like I was just constantly fighting the damn thing to keep minor changes, and even then it never worked.

Its okay

For basic it works, but would really prefer family portal as I have families with multiple kids and when i need to move them classes I cant because I can only add the account with the main person as the name rather then which child i need to move

Difficult to Customize

Pros: 1) Adding the app takes time off manually creating a user backend 2) Comes with some of the stuff you need for your members 3) Comes with both a member account and member profile pages Cons: 1) Terribly DIFFICULT to customize! If you want to use this for anything other than a very basic member's section to basically just allow ppl to access stuff pertaining to their orders, just make a manual backend. The time you'll waste trying to join collections like in normal languages like SQL, is far too much. Things that are super basic in regular coding, are way more complicated than they need to be here. 2) Default member's data collection has too many limitations 3) Very few built-in Wix features to assist in expanding the backend. 4) Working with Collections is confusing. The documentation isn't clear & the video series is incredibly broad & incomplete. 5) Technical support is difficult to get ahold of, aside from through the chat & chat staff seems to have limited knowledge.

Doesn't work well in Editor X

Doesn't work well in Editor X and functionality is missing. Can't do custom sign up or login forms well, and you can't customize the design or layout. Also doesn't work well responsively in Editor X.

Not liking it yet...

I SENT AN EMAIL WITH THESE ISSUES. WILL CHANGE MY REVIEW AFTER THEY ARE ADDRESSED. WILL HAVE TO FIND NEW APP IF NOT RESOLVED. This is my first time using Wix Groups. I created 3 groups (2 public, 1 private). I added members using a couple of my own personal email accounts (and each email account’s correlating google chrome profile to create accounts). Here are the issues: 1) When I sign up using the “sign up with google” feature, that profile is not added to the public members list on the website (see heidi@virtuallyimperative.com). 2) When I go to the Wix Groups dashboard and click the eyeball icon “go to group” to view the group’s page, I get an error “page not found”. I have checked all settings; they are accurate. 3) When members join a group, the user receives a message stating “You’ve just joined!” Concurrently, they also receive another message stating “You do not have permission to access this page”.

Not good enough

My member profile page completely vanished, cant see nothing but the gray. I'm gonna have to un install and try reinstalling, but is it worth my time and effort. I've already spent a month on my site building it, Not happy at all

It sucks

i'm trying to get the thing, you know the thing that you see a user of you and you click on it and it you? it gone, and it install as well. i wish that you fix it :(

The profile boxes are overriding other boxes and it is plain looking.

User can't update date fields

Every time a user attempts to add their birthdate, it throws an error.

Bildirim çok zayıf Takip etme olayında üyeler birbirlerini izinsiz takip edebiliyor. Üyeler için birbirlerine sorması gerekiyor şu kişi sizi takip etmek istiyor şeklinde. tasarım güzel hoş ama inanın bir galeri ekliyemiyorum. yıllarca wix de uğraşmaktan çok yoruldum artık kafam patlıyacak :)) Üyeler birbirlerini görebiliyorlar yani sizce bu doğrumu bu siteye üye olan kişiler birbirlerini izinsizce ekliyorlar. takip ediyorlar. Bunu düzeltin karşı tarafa sorması gerekiyor bu kişi sizi ekledi kabul ediyormusunuz ? şeklinde uyarı paneli çıkması gerekiyor. bir de Bildirimler olayınca sayfaya atıyor bu yanlış panel olarak aşağıya doğru açılmasını istiyorum. uygulamalar hep yarım yamalak yapılmış bırakılmış :))

I'm being spammed like crazy!

Can I still have a blog if I turn off this member thing? I don't need members. My site is mostly informational. I'm getting spammed with dozens of member requests a day, and I only have a few actual "members," and no exclusive content for them. I'm just worried if I get rid of member pages, I might lose the blog. I don't care about losing the forum. No one uses it. But the blog is essential. Please either fix it so spammers can't apply to be members, of give us an out!

Why do members see eachother?

It's a pity that I can't choose whether members see eachother or not. I want them to access content, but not to see eachother for obvious confidentiality reasons (coaching business)

Option to remove community aspect

As so many others have stated, please give an option to completely remove the community aspect of this app. We don't need members to interact with each other. I just want them to have a page where they can update their information and access members only content.

Forum

After turning off my Forum, I am getting Voodoo, witchcraft, black magic spells posted on this turned-off page associated to my hair salon. I am getting calls to make magic spells. I took it off my website but I am still getting posts and notifications. I have blocked words, but want to remove the forum entirely.

NEEDS WORK

I do not like the layout. I dont like seeing every member when you open the page. I just want a member page that is personal for the 1 customer. Can this be done?
