    How effective is our service to community & individual

    This program is awesome! The customer representative that I spoke with was absolutely the best!! He broke everything down to me regarding my credit cards and the interest rates that are keeping me in debt. My representative was so very patient, down to earth and understood what I am going through. He made me feel so much better about helping me get out of debt. It was like talking to a friend that cares and shows compassion! One thing I find very important about my experience, is that my representative cares and you can tell that he is very passionate about his job and helping people get out of debt. My experience with Cex Debt Relief has taken such anxiety and stress off of my shoulders. I highly recommend that people at least hear what Cex Debt Relief is about and how they can help you get out of debt so that you don't have to go bankrupt!!!!

    Arrrrggggghhhhh BOTS!!!

    Suddenly I'm being plagued by numerous member requests per day. I have even deleted the members area from my site and turned off anything I can find relating to members. Something needs to be fixed ASAP.

    Promising, but disappointing, member SPAM

    Privacy bad, random weird mailadressen trying to get in on my website, I don't know where they are coming from... I hope they try to fix it asap. Beautiful idea but not worked out to be used. Tell me when you are up to date!

    Bot horror

    I, for some reason, had a members area and the horror story began. I through the members area away. Still the bots continued to request permission to be members. I closed the options on my blog, now no one can comment or like, nor log in at all. Still the bots requests. I'm about to remove the blog from the site, but I'm worried the nightmare will continue. What's the solution, Wix?

    Wix can't figure this stuff out

    Been talking with Wix for over a MONTH about the bot issue. Yesterday we had 15 site member requests and we don't even have this downloaded. Been working with support on 4 different occasions but Wix has been officially taken over by bots

    OMG, so many spam emails I don't know what to do. I am thinking about removing the app from my website again. I thought deleting the member area would stop the spam, but it's still happening when not active. Please help asap, or I will move my entire site from Wix

    All these robots and spammers becoming site members on both my sites?! Come on, this is ridiculous. The site members app was a joke to begin with, but this is an invasion. Wix needs to fix this immediately.

    SPAM MAGNET BEWARE !!

    Don't want it, didn't install it and yet somehow it has appeared on my site - and I'm getting some very undesirable emails. Very disappointing Wix - please sort this out.

    What is this?

    Got activated for some reason and now I get multiple strange emails a day. Difficult to remove and to understand where this was activated in the first place. Could be useful but need to be improved.

    SPAM NIGHTMARE

    The incessant spam of very clearly spam gmail accounts is maddening!!!!! I have removed the membership request or sign up space on my site and....yet..... THE SPAM CONTINUES!!! This is really shockingly poor form. And for Wix not to have an obvious spam filter trap to prevent this is awful - my email does not stop and I have no idea how it is happening considering there is no sign up space on my site. Wix, do better!

    I am also being spammed daily. I have installed the spam protector, captcha, you describe plus, made every answer required, still being bombarded. It is not working.

    SPAM MAGNET

    Like dozens of others writing reviews, my member area is overrun with spam - THAT I CANNOT DELETE. I can't remove these 'contacts' because they are supposedly site members. I'm told that this is a known issue and that wix is working on it, but I haven't heard back. I want to delete this bots, not just provide a captcha so it doesn't happen again. Very disappointing.

    Member requests Spams are annoying

    I keep getting member requests from fishy emails. I uninstalled the app but I am still getting requests. Don't know what to do. I sometimes feel that my website was hacked. Please fix this issue promptly otherwise clients will seek alternative website builders

    UPDATE: In response to Wix team comment about captcha... IT DOES NOT WORK! Please stop ignoring our comments on this. We pay a lot of money for these websites. FIX IT! Lately I'm getting lots of spam. Somehow, the same email address I blocked keeps spamming.

    Span emails daily.

    Every day I get a new member to join this from some random spammy address, I've set to need approve, set to need them to verify email address to become member nothing stops it. tried to delete the members area and still get people joining as members. How do you get rid of this horrendous exploited spammy app in WIX. So fed up with it, I may have to take my site to another hosting company as I can't keep trying to maintain a website that does not block code I've in theory removed the associated app for. @26/04 - Was told its fixed, still getting spam email account created every day. The issue is the public API's that WIX created, no code on the website backend will block this. WIX need to look at the authorisation process for the API's that we currently have no control over or allow users to turn off the public API's that we don't need and ability to reset the OAuth token, as I have tried to block using backend js with logging and nothing gets logged.

    SPAM / BOT membership sign-ups

    Multiple bot membership sign ups per day. Bogus email addresses entered all talking about casinos, slots, and medication. The re-captcha doesn't make a difference. Stronger anti-spam options are needed. Don't install this app, it's a total headache.

    Remove automatic links from Member Profiles

    This area is causing more headaches and wasting more time than I believe my business and the client community are taking from it. For every legitimate member who signs up, 3 or more scam artists & spammers create a login and swiftly link a sales site or something rubbish from their profile. Wix's only solution is to allow 'only users I approve' but I don't have time to do this, it adds friction and reduces sign-ups by nearly 100%, and it does nothing to stop these bad actors from just updating a scam link in 48 hours after approval. Who has time to moderate links from all member profiles forever and for all time? Just remove all links and allow 'selected members' from the 'customize items' options for a link so we can choose who to trust.

    something like this could ruin your business, sorry

    I really don't know where to start ... Wix has been great for getting my site up and going and I do appreciate the customer service and most features, but this members area log-in is an absolute disgrace!!! You can see the 1 ratings above for yourself. If I do mock orders and change log-in info back and forth from my wife to my account, it messes up all orders, address, personl info fields, you name it! And then it keeps saying wife's login pass is incorrect, etc. It's so all over the place, freezing up here or there, items disappear when added to cart - a total nightmare! Put this on your site and you'll lose customers fast. I took it off after 30 mins of playing around with it because it's simply a liability I can't afford. And all they say is, "Oh, clear your cache." You know what, this crap doesn't happen on iherb, amazon, Rakuten, etc when I shop there, just on my WIX site. So never mind the "clear your cache" excuse. Really wish they would rectify something this bad!

    Cannot access from Wix phone app

    When I click on Site & App, then click View Space, I get a message that Im not able to acmes this site, it may be hidden, I might not have permission, etc. The app also created two profiles for me that appear to be the same, but when I find a way to access my space, it takes me one that I must have created, but didn't complete, and I have no idea how to delete it. I think this app has potential, but it is buggy. I'd also like to address how Wix uses my member's information. I don't like that they could have access to credit card information, etc. It's none of their business, and needs privacy protection.

    Warning...Wix steals your visitors who ask for approval to join your site

    When someone visits your site and asks to join and you approve them, Wix sends an email to the requestor telling then they are approved. When they click on the large, highlighted link in the email to download the app, the issue begins. The app is Wix's social community called Spaces. Your member has effectively been hijacked/stolen from your site and sent to Wix's own site. The requestor is confused because they don't see your site at all. Plus the requestor does not show in your member area, because they are now enrolled in Wix's social community and they do not share the same member database. Wix is building their social community off the users who join your site! You like this? I am moving to another platform.

      I'm sorry for your experience, You can delete the app, in the pages panel try to click on the "members pages", in the setting you have the option to delete, it will guide you to delete the app. We hope it was helpful :). You can reach our support for more help.
