Expensive and Disappointing UX

I got really excited about this new WIX made app, because in theory it added a really nice premium functionality to the WIX platform. However, in reality as of August 2025 it's nothing more than an expensive google translate plugin that feels incomplete. The fact that you need to pay WIX a fee for every word of every language that is translated is questionable. I've got no problem paying WIX for premium features, but I feel you should be at the very least paying for each language translation on the site. Sure there is a manual feature to translate each section of your website for free, but it just feels incomplete and rushed. This app holds a lot of potential and I hope the app continues to be developed by WIX.

Freakin joke

I'm okay with the need to re-format the text fields, that's to be expected. But the translations, even though shown as 'saved', are not being updated. 30% of the content I translated stayed in the original language. WTF?

Why change manually if you have lest words on your site?

This language app used to work seamlessly, but now the website no longer translates automatically because of fewer words...... so now only manual translation is required. This is unacceptable! I have a Wix Studio website with the language translation app and that functions flawlessly. Why is there such a difference?

Chat GPT integration is needed asap

this absolutely needs to integrate CHAT GPT o3 for automatic translation, or else the price to pay for the premium subscription is absolutely unjustified. The translations are terrible, so you are forced to do everything manually.

This should be in beta, and free.

Where to start? It translates everything pretty badly, it doesn't apply any kind of context to the translation, it messes up the whole page completely, you can't translate or configure the menu, tables or galleries. If you're looking to save some time, it helps, if you're looking for a quality translation, run away. And beyond all that, if you buy it, be prepared to spend hours and hours fixing everything that messes you up.

Issue with the Language Selector

The language selector was functioning correctly on sites created before December 2024. However, in January 2025, after duplicating one of these sites, the copied site began experiencing an issue where the language selector appears inconsistently—sometimes it is displayed, and other times it is not. This behavior changes day by day. Following the comments below, I added multiple languages, but the language selector still does not appear. When opening the site in the WIX editor, the language selector field appears blank. However, if I open the "Menu Management" section and then close it, the language menu temporarily becomes visible. Yet, even after publishing the site in this state, the language selector does not appear on the live site. Meanwhile, the original site (before duplication) continues to display the language selector without any issues. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Leider unhandlich und Fehlende Funktion

Grundsätzlich gut leider kann man Programmpunkte in Veranstaltungen nicht übersetzten hier fehlt die Funktion. Schön wäre wenn man bei den Veranstaltungen sortieren könnte so das die selben Worte untereinander stehen und man mit copy and paste alle erledigen könnte.

Has potential

The installation was smooth, but there are a few bugs that require fixes: 1. Custom language icons are not working 2. The language pages are not aligned to all pages 3. You need to pay an additional cost to translate words above ~5K. 4. You can't translate all pages

Frustrated

ok. So when I reached the 3000 word limit, I purchased another "block" of words - Even though I got rid of a ton of pages and products to lessen the word count, I suddenly had over 8 million words to translate. I purchased another $25 block of "words," went back to the "add language" section of the app, and now it says I have over 9 million words to translate and I don't have enough credits to auto-translate! Why can't I at least have translated the number of words I've already paid for (how ever many words when paying $50,00 gets you!). Where is the word count coming from? I can't possibly have MORE words after DELETING so much (?). I have contacted Customer Service and was directed to the page showing how to install, and the individual I spoke with was very helpful, but NOW it seems the determination of how many words are in the site isn't straight forward, I can't possibly have over 9 million words! (!?!) If this can be resolved, I think this app can work well for my site...

Barely viable

Required multiple calls to support to get it working, as the installation was just not possible from my side. Eventually I had to have someone on their end activate it somehow. Uses rich text for translations, which is probably the reason it removes links when translating. Huge bug in my opinion. No support for marking text as not needing translation. Once you've translated something, you can't remove the translation. Which means you'll have to keep track of it forever. Asks you for a purchase to bulk auto-translate all strings when you install it. You, like any reasonable person, resign and start douing the auto-translate one by one. Halfway through you try again via another button. This time it doesn't ask for any purchase and just does it. In my opinion, this is barely viable.

Não dá para traduzir certas partes do site como o vale presente, morada e carteiras na página de usuário, e muitas vezes desformata, altera o tamanho, tipo de letra, cor do texto, etc.

There are lots of restrictions

First, You cannot change the main language after adding the other languages. If you want to change you have to make your site from scratch. Besides, It does not translate the collapsable text boxes. These are the negative specs that I experienced.

Esta bien pero tiene bugs

Esta bien pero tiene bugs. A veces no agarra las actualizaciones de idioma original a version traducida. Mi sugerencia es que pongan una función como 'ping' para que re-checa automaticamente cualquier cambio de idioma original. Tengo varios paginas que idioma traducida muestra version plano con textos pre-hechos de wix, sin formato y diseño que habia hecho en idioma original.

Translates Language but NOT currencies. . .

If your looking for a wix product that will convert language AND currencies then this isnt it. I have worked at this app for hours and have yet to find how it works to change the currencies along with the language. It really doesnt make any sense to me on how I can change the language to Japanese but not the currency. It stays in US currency when we all know that Japanese currency is the Yen. Long story short, if your only going to sell products in the US then perfect but if thats the case its still useless because you wont even need it. . . This app needs some serious work AND Wix needs to make a currency convertor.

App by it self is good, but need more and improved features

App works pretty well, but miss allot of new features. Example: added language in menu would appear if needed (user decide), now if user ads language it automatically appears in menu.

You cannot translate Wix Bookings

How am I supposed to offer bookings to customers all over the world when I cannot translate the booking app..

Layout, speed, SEO

Not impressed by this app at all. It plays badly with your layout and messes up the original. The speed is terrible, patience needed! It doesn't translate all the colour choices either....???? It`s good to have a choice of translation, but there`s definitely space for big improvement!

Incorrect Translation

I wanted to translate my site to Hindi, but the grammar and vocabulary doesn't go right. Please fix this 'cause this ruining businesses.
