Translated from English to Ukrainian. Works good for me. I needed to adjust some copy to make it more catchy, but overall that was what I need.

Visibility issue solved

I had trouble making the language selector visible on my public website, but I finally resolved it by adding more than one additional language. Now the site features the main language plus two others (three in total), and the selector works perfectly.

I used it 2 years ago and it was so so... Now, they added a new side by side translation in the dashboard, they support CMS finally. They added progress bar and status which are really helpful in the process of translation. it very clear what is translated and what is left. all in one place. wow. And you can search and filter. I gave it a 4 just because I'm still waiting for services translation. keep improving wix!

Ich weiß nicht warum dieses App so schlecht bewertet wird. Für meine Zwecke ist das App gut. Ich lasse für mich übersetzen: Deutsch->Englisch. Diese Übersetzungen sind erstaunlich korrekt. Ich bin Dolmetscher/Übersetzer und meine Muttersprache ist Englisch. Die Bedienung des Apps lässt zu Wünschen übrig. Es ist schwierig zurecht zu kommen, manchmal sogar jedes Mal, auch wenn ich das App schon öfters benutzt habe.

It works

I followed this guide and it works great. I preferred to do the translation myself to avoid mistakes made by machine translators. https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-multilingual-translating-text It did make some unwanted changes to some type but was easily fixed. For some reason the flags don't show on the button when chosen, just type... but overall I'm pleased with the result.

OK to get 5 stars it should do the whole job by itself while making a new page it already translates a copy of the page into the selected new language and saves it. But it has saved a lot of time for me, I have the site in 8 languages, then you mustn't forget that there is the possibility of having your site in different languages and this is worth its weight in gold to me. Otherwise, it might be easier to handle the program if you yourself are fluent in different languages and can correct some small translation errors yourself

Love this app! But some of the translations are funny.

This app has brilliant potential, but it does change the meaning of certain words quite wildly! For example, we offer free piano accompanists for our soloists, but somehow these were translated to "escorts", "companions" and "accompanying", and may cause some confusion as to what we offer!

Good app, i would just like to add dynamic pages, hope you guys will do that soon

So I was pretty turned off by the reviews. I've loved basically every website addition that Wix has and was confused why so many people were having issues with this. I decided to call and have Wix walk me through how to do this app integration properly and I'm so glad I did, highly recommend doing it that way. I can easily see how it would be challenging for someone to do it on their own, it's a difficult process but easy to do with the right guidance. Pictures, Video's, and Blogs DO NOT auto translate. The blog part was a bummer for me. The other two I kind of assumed. They said the blogs are possible but you have to do each one individually which is a lot, I have almost 100 blogs. I decided to manually do them each with only french and spanish (in addition to english) for now but Wix is I guess working on a feature that will do the blogs automatically. So I will wait for that! I still don't regret adding this feature, I just would recommend doing it on a call with a Wix Expert.

Fine for desktop, but Doesnt work on Mobile

Its simple enough and works on desktop, but when I go to my mobile site editor, it doesnt even show up? Is this app meant to just translate the desktop site and not the mobile?? -Update it now showed up on mobile after refreshing the editor. It did not show up after saving or even publishing! But apparantly refreshing the editor page did it.

Die App macht das was sie machen soll. Einziger Nachteil: man kann keine eigenen Subdomains auf sprachen mappen, wenn man die Domain nicht bei wix hostet. Das ist schade und sollte behoben werden.

Leider ist die Übersetzung via google translator, welcher ja bekanntlich nicht sehr gut ist. Man kann aber mit copy and paste die Text bei einem anderen online Übersetzer übersetzen. Es ist zwar viel Arbeit, aber am Ende passt es. Schade, dass man in allen Sprachen die gleiche Formatierung haben muss bzw. die Formatierung und die Abstände in allen Strachen die exakt selbe sein muss. Nur 4 Sterne von mir, da das FAQ Feld nicht übersetzt werden kann. Bei mir gibt's somit die FAQ nur in Deutsch. Verstehe ehrlich gesagt nicht, warum man das nicht übersetzen kann.

Have read the reviews here and I'm wondering if the problem is actually poor documentation re how to set it up. I was able to add the language and make on page translations fairly easily. I did not test this with the Wix store. One thing that is not made super clear is the need to make your language visible so the toggle works.

(edit) The dev team discovered that another app was creating a conflict. Since I did not need the other one, taking it out fix all my issues. Thanks for the good work, and be safe :)

For English to German very good

Amazing how much time can be changed by using this App! It can even change all the product descriptions. Google Translate for English to German is good for the first draft, then it still needs some checking for grammar and specialised, product related translations.

I really like the multilingual app - but....

I would love to have the option to use the wix online booking system in different languages as well as have my blog ind different languages as well.

Toll, dass ich meine Webseite nun in mehreren Sprachen anzeigen lassen kann. Auch stellt sich die Webseite automatisch auf die entsprechende Landessprache um, wenn zum Beispiel jemand von Frankreich, Italien, etc. auf diese zugreift. Was ich vermisse, ist die Möglichkeit, auch meinen Blog übersetzen lassen zu können. Leider ist dies nicht möglich.

Добрый день. Нет возможности перевести содержимое таблицы в Table master. И еще, Пункты меню, то есть названия страниц, не переводятся, ввожу перевод, но остается русское наименование. Выручайте!

It has many languages and great features like the Translate with Google. This feature is useful if you want to translate your site in a language you don't know!

Great App once you figure out how to translate the menu

Very easy to use. I got stuck for a few minutes at the menu, because the app won't translate it as such. You have to click first on the "edit translation" button and then it will let you translate each page title one at a time. Google does the translation instantly, and you fine-tune it if necessary. My only critic is that translation must be done one text box at a time. I wish it could translate the entire site at once, and we would just have to do the fine-tuning.

Work very well, but one problem.

I can translate everything perfectly, but when I try to translate a post, the translation button does not work. It says "This element can't be translated", which is a problem considering I write a blog. If I can't translate the posts, it's useless to me. Any help would be appreciated, because other than that, loved it.

Good but...Ipad problem

Everything works fine on laptop and phone but on the ipad doesn't show the buttons, any suggestion about it? Thanks in advance! 10 min later..... Almost solution I pin the menu but it's no really pinned to the screen, when i change the position of the ipad the menu change position, it's a bit annoying but at least is not invisible :/

For the moment it works perfectly on the desktop version! Nevertheless I don't know about the mobile: in which there is no "flags menù". So I don't know if the mobile version is going to work automatically depending on the people origin or the mobile version will be only with one language. That's sucks updated on Oct 24: I've found the flags, they are into the menu, at the end...not really intuitive, but they are there and work.

i translated my site in 4 languages, great app!! BUT!! i cannot place the icon on my page, so that visitors can choose which language they want to see? You know what i mean? it s gone and cannot find it.
