Price & Stock History

A shopper says the price was lower yesterday. An item shows zero stock and you cannot tell whether an order, a collaborator or a connected app changed it. This app is designed to help store owners answer that. After you install it, it keeps a log of each price and stock change with the old number, the new number and the time. Every row also shows where the change came from: the store owner or a collaborator, an order, or another app. The dashboard page draws price and stock for a variant on one timeline and lists each change: what it was, what it became, and when. Where the platform reports it, the list also says whether a store user, an order or another app made the change. The list can be narrowed by text, type, source and date. If an update was missed, a manual check compares the store with the last recorded numbers. History begins when the app is installed. The free plan shows the last 30 days for the 20 most recently changed products. Older records are kept rather than deleted. The Pro plan adds history beyond 30 days, all products, CSV export and a flag on price moves of 20% or more. The app reads products and inventory only. It does not read customers, orders or payments.
