A countdown works only if the deadline is real. This one points at an actual moment: an offer that really ends, a class that starts at seven, a launch on Friday. Pick the date and the time in your own timezone, and that is the setup. We store the exact instant, so a visitor in Sydney and one in Chicago hit zero at the same second — not "six o'clock wherever you happen to be", which is the quiet bug in most countdown widgets. Choose what visitors see at zero: a message you write, a row of zeros, or nothing. Pick which units show — hide days and you get 73 hours rather than 1 hour, because the time rolls up instead of disappearing. Set your own colours, typeface and label. The free plan is the whole widget: one timer per page, every feature, all twelve languages, nothing watermarked and nothing greyed out. Pro, at $6.99 a month, lifts the one-per-page limit, its only addition. What it will not do: there is deliberately no "evergreen" mode that restarts privately for each visitor to keep a page looking urgent. That is a fake deadline, visitors work it out, and it costs more trust than it buys clicks. It is also not a sitewide sale bar — it is a widget you place on a page.
