Online Orders lets your restaurant take pickup, delivery and dine‑in orders straight from your Wix site, so customers can skip the calls and you can focus on the food. Set up menus that match how your kitchen works: add item options, modifiers and special requests. Control pickup and delivery settings, prep times and lead times, whether you need 20 minutes or several days’ notice. You can also offer dine‑in ordering with QR codes so guests can scan, order, pay and either pick up at the counter or get table service. Manage all incoming orders in one back office and keep customers updated with live order tracking. Online Orders is built on Wix eCommerce and connects with Wix tools like CRM, discounts, coupons, gift cards, automated marketing campaigns, analytics and 24/7 support so you can grow repeat orders and run your restaurant in one place.

    Very limited features

    Cannot add modifiers to variations (medium pizza toppings $2 while large toppings are $3) Does not have option for pizzas if someone wants custom toppings (half and half, or right, left, and whole options) The checkout cart looks confusing to customer if someone is ordering 2 of the same food item. Would like there to be price ranges on if there's multiple sizes of a menu item, so the main item shows ($23-$25) When a ticket prints out 2 of the same item with modifiers, it does not separate the two, it's not clear that they both have the same modifiers.

We are working to make our product better every day, and insights like yours regarding modifiers and checkout clarity are incredibly helpful. Regarding the pizza options, you can actually use Modifier Groups right now to set up 'half and half' or 'left/right' toppings. For the printing, our system currently separates items if the modifiers or variants are different; however, if the toppings are identical, they group together. Best, Ilona

    Almost perfect!

    It would be perfect if it had an inventory tracking function! Please add that feature!

    very difficult to work with

    The old version was working very well, I do not think that this new one has been tested enough and properly. I am trying to resolve the problems for weeks and the clients are complaining that they cannot order. I am losing clients, wasting time and just waiting for emails back from support. It is never finishing. I was loving Wix but now I am considering some other platforms.

    ⭐ 1 Star — Very Very Disappointing Experience

    Honestly, this has been one of the most frustrating tools I’ve tried on Wix. The ordering widget looks nice at first, but once you actually use it, the limitations become obvious. Basic layout issues like menu overlap and poor responsiveness make the user experience feel unfinished. There’s very little real control over the design, and even simple fixes require workarounds instead of proper settings. For something meant to power online food orders, it feels restrictive, buggy, and not ready for serious businesses. Support and customization options are also extremely limited, which makes solving problems unnecessarily difficult. Definitely not what I expected from a professional ordering solution.

    USELESS SEARCH ENGINE

    I have big problems with clients, because the search engine is too broad, and a simple street appears another country, instead of focusing on local addresses, the suggestions should at least be addresses closer to the client instead of suggesting options from remote countries, my clients find that very frustrating and by not being able to enter their address they simply prefer to come to my store to order or in the worst case I am losing sales

    This (New) Version of WIX Restaurant seems to be designed by someone unfamiliar with restaurants!!!

    When it first made its way to the App Store I installed it and saw that it was not ready for prime time so I put off moving to this app version for 2 years because the older one worked very well for my needs. Now the older app is disabled. Sadly, this version is by far the worst version yet. No room for customization. Little things like colored icons keep it looking very generic. Bigger issues are; It asks for customers address before they can add an order to the cart, and if the address is inputed wrong or the customers does not complete the address information then the progress they've made is canceled, leaving the cart empty. When you have a large list of options there should be a drop down menu to hold the items in. There is No option for "Either This" or Either That" which was a key feature present in the older app. This version does not allow items created as stand alone menu items within another menu item. You cannot allow the customer to add multiple variant items easily.
