About this App

The Product Auction application introduces an auction feature for your "Stores", which enables product bidding for the admin who wants to auction. It helps you track and manage all the live bids on the store. With the help of this application, you can easily start an auction in the store. It provides many features and benefits when you use it in your store. A few simple steps are required to auction a product with a user-friendly interface. Below are a few important features of the application. * A special feature including the popcorn Bidding for the auction products. * The auctions of any product can be created and managed by a store owner. * Configure the email so that they can notify their users about auctions. * The Admin can restart the auctions that are unsuccessful. * Admin can also create an auction of different products at once using the batch option. Manually start and end the auction. * The time will be displayed on the product for the auction when the admin gets it started. * Only registered users can bid on the auction. * When an auction ends admin will decide the winner of the product auction.

    SCAMMERS! Avoid at any cost

    Before installing it i asked them if the app is going to work normally because in my store i have 1000s of products and was sure that their app would fail to fetch them properly. However they guaranteed it was going to work, multiple times. Well the app is not working and i have sent them screenshots and basically have dissapeared since Thursday. Although before that they were extremely keen to replying back. I asked for a refund and they are not even answering. Total scammers so avoid them. Im now reporting them to Wix and Citizens Advice.

    This App is Trash

    We only needed it for a few months, they took our money twice, and then did not communicate with us to resolve any issues we had. There were many. WIX also did nothing to help with a vendor they clearly support on their platform.

Secondly you have subscribed for the yearly plan that is of 108 USD so how you can be charged twice on a yearly plan?     It is not easy to use nor intuetive

    I was the main one that requested this app from Wix to begin with. I trail tested and sadly. Low functionality . Imposibble to use . And have plenty of errors that needs to be cleared if not a complete overhall of the app before ever being installed. Not worth paying for ! Do Not waste your money !!

    I should have taken the reviews more seriously

    This is by far the worst app I have used. Most of Wix is what you see is what you get and the exceptions to that are fairly logical on how to move forward. Not the case with Product Auction. I give this app a fail. 1. The app is not intuitive or even close. It does not offer the results without a fair amount of jumping through hoops and trial and trial and error and error. I don’t have time to try to figure out how to make an app work, it should be fairly intuitive and logical. 2. Support is equally frustrating. I emailed for support received it which was not effective. The video call was plagued with background noise and echoes from the room. The language barrier was difficult to work with; it was hard to understand with me asking for several repeats. 3. Demo/support video is not comprehensive. Save your time your frustration and just go with a platform that’s effectively and conscientiously designed to support an auction and that is Givebutter.

    7 day trial period isn't useful

    I wanted to get a good feel for how the auction software would work in my site before making a purchase. However, I'm finding the 7 day trial software is very, very limited. It is not clear what the limitations are until I find I can't do much. Reviews of the full package are so negative, I'm hesitant to jump in and pay.

    Doesn't function for me

    I spent 5 hours trying to troubleshoot and figure out why the buttons and features to place a bid do not appear on the product. There is no way for me to chat live with anyone and customer support still has not responded. I don't even see anything to pause or cancel the subscription. It is very poorly made. Feels like a knockoff of an app. I am not sure how it has received any 5 star reviews

    Buggy and no documentation

    Tried to add product auctions to my site. Once I synched the auction app to my products, I was not able to create auctions of items. All the items were greyed out. I tried to get live help, which supposedly comes with the premium plan, and it sends an email to the app developer. It is not live support. I subscribed for 1 month to give it a try. The app has a long way to go before it can even be called a beta.

    Terrible Interface

    The app is cumbersome, in general, and lacks features such as the ability to edit automated emails sent to bidders. Also, you have to click on each individual auction to see a list of bidders, emails and amounts. Bidders are not automatically notified of competing bids so admin management is time consuming and cumbersome. Also, I was not notified each time someone bid so I had to continually check back on each individual item, which was also time consuming and cumbersome. The automated emails sent to clients after the auction ended (which was sooner than I set it for), were incomplete in the information they contained. Customer service seems delayed. I would not recommend nor will I use it again.

    Did not work for me

    This app did not work for me. The installation was not easy- it just kept on re-pasting a shop front on top of a shop front. Wix were unable to help me and the app support people were difficult to contact and organise a time with.

    Great Idea

    This is a great idea and would be perfect for our business. However, once you load your inventory into their system, it causes a weird buffering when viewing items on the live site. A few days after installing, a customer reported not being able to see actual pricing when clicking on an item. It just shows "success" where the price should be. Deleting the app until those bugs are worked out.

    Deleted App shortly after installing

    I just started using the Product Auction App and with Vaibhav Mishra's assistance in getting me started, I am ready to dig in and roll out my first auctions. ***EDIT*** I ended up deleting this app after I installed it because it never worked properly. Very disappointing.
