Wix Restaurants Menus

This App is barely useful.

I would not recommend. It is so poor in function I am considering switching website manager/ editor. It is very hard to manage and arrange menus and menu items. Adjusting designs and layout is overly complicated and time consuming. Additionally, the design and layout options are limited to say the least. One best parts of this is the the ability to upload a Menu pdf and have it automatically input menu sections and items based on the pdf. However, this features is glitchy as best, and sometimes useless. Often, I have to go back and manually input or rearrange items and sections to the point it took me more time than if I hadn't used the app, and just put info, directly on my website.

I am so confused and freaking out

I downloaded the app but everytime i refresh my screen or whenever i pull up the website to edit and whatnot, everything that I did with this app goes away. I have to go to the serach bar, find the app and then cick open for all that progress to show. Also when i try to publish the website the same thing happens, everything done through th app won't show. I am freaking out because I spent so long on this. I have tried refreshing, waiting for it to load up, everything but nothing is working

the previous one was way much better

there is constant bugs on the app , im still trying to get the "printable menu " option to work , I dont see any extra feature or improovements from the previous one , neither an improvement on the interface or anything . Now it just got worse unfortunately . Side note/ after reading all the reviews, everyone seem to have the same problems , that said, the good star reviews are actually bad reviews . ANYONE READING the reviews ?

Print menu doesn't work

just absolute garbage! think of using wix for multiple restaurants? better off using diffrent apps cant switch menu

Multilingual function does not work

Everytime my client updates her menu the other language doesn't update too. I'm having a lot of troubles with my client because of this.

No POS Integration?

Why can't we simply have a restaurant app that syncs with square and other POS systems that restaurants use. Allow customers to place orders directly to those POS systems, etc. It's a huge frustration for me and my clients.

Complicated to use,

if would me, I won't lunch app that won't be better than the old version. complicated for clients to place an orders, no orders notification on the restaurant side without tablet or the wix app. its Useless

not needed

No Way To Hide Price

This is the most difficult, non-customizable app ever. There is no way to hide things like price or "in-stock" visibility. Would be nice to have a text box for price that I can write "please call." Not everyone wants to announce their prices to the world.

Bonjour l’équipe support de Wix Restaurant, J’ai installé le menu dans une section de ma page, et depuis, il m’est impossible de supprimer ni le menu ni la section. La seule solution est de recréer une nouvelle page et de recommencer toute la mise en page… C’est franchement catastrophique ! Pire encore : je ne peux pas installer le menu sur d’autres pages, le widget ne fonctionne plus du tout. Malgré plusieurs échanges avec votre assistance téléphonique — que je tiens à remercier pour leur écoute — les solutions proposées restent sans effet. Franchement, c’est déplorable. Je vous invite à réagir rapidement pour nous proposer une solution fiable. Et par pitié, évitez de déployer des mises à jour si vous n’êtes pas certains de leur stabilité ! Dans l’attente de vous lire, avec, je l’espère, une bonne nouvelle et une mise à jour efficace cette fois-ci !

one of the worst update, comes with TONS of problems , should absolutely avoid until they fix issues

Untested, Not thought out, rushed to production. Unfortunate

May be more of an issue with Wix Studio, but considering thats the system supporting this, both are very glitchy.

INDISPONIBLE SUR LA CREATION D'APPLICATION

Bonjour, Le problème c'est que je ne peux pas intégrer wix restaurant app a mon editeur application mobile IOS. Alors qu'il est spécifié que c'est possible sur les avantages des forfaits. Je sais qu'on peut le faire via une intégration WEB mais c'est pas ce que je veux. Merci (je changerais mon avis une fois le problème réglé.)

is there anyone managing this app?? the menu matching the time selected for delivery or pickup should be displayed automatically and not having to open the dropdown menu to select to matching menu, very confusing for users the scheduling settings are not working properly, it s a total nightmare

Un warranted

Nothing was wrong with the old app and it's quite a headache constantly dealing with these types of updates. Honestly we'd rather be with a platform which make slow gradual changes. This review isn't meant to be hateful but rather critical. I hope you guys take it seriously.
