About this App
Most price calculators are form builders: you design the form, and the maths comes afterwards. This one starts from the maths and asks you for rows. A row is one thing you charge for. Give it a label, choose what the visitor does — types a number, ticks a box, or picks from a priced list — and set the rate. They fill it in and the total moves as they go. The arithmetic is done in whole pennies, never in fractions of one, so a ten pence item plus a twenty pence item comes to thirty pence and not to 0.30000000000000004. Every figure is formatted for the language of your page, so a euro site reads 1.234,56 and a yen site reads whole yen. Pick a currency, add a tax or discount percentage, name those lines yourself, round the total if you like. A rate you mistype is listed back to you in the settings panel, with the text that was rejected, and that row is left out rather than shown with a wrong total. What it does not do: it shows a number on the screen. It does not email the quote to you or the visitor, it does not save it, and it does not take a payment. Nothing a visitor types leaves their browser. Pair it with a contact form. Free for ever on four rows. Twelve languages.
What the listing highlights
- Rows you define: a number they type, a box they tick, or a priced list
- Whole-penny arithmetic, so a total is never 0.30000000000000004
- Any currency, formatted for the page's own language by the browser
- A rate you mistype is named back to you, not shown as a wrong total
