I have used cart2cart on 2 different occasions. Both times it met my needs without fail. I migrated from Weebly to Wix. This migration was quick and easy.

Importing Customers + Orders Creates Greater Issues

When customers are imported, they are imported with random email address and random phone numbers. When importing previous orders, they are all imported with the order dates and times as of the moment you press the migrate button, not the actual date when the order was placed. Also, there are very few options in the way of matching data fields. Only two options for Order Status and Fulfillment Status, that is it for the whole migration.

did not work for me and coudn't get the chat to understand

I asked for assistance but i felt i was just going round and round. to migrate as yet it does not automatically switch from Wix to Wix-studio also when i tried to explain i felt they did not understand. when i was trying to transfer i found i did not get a destination store it just infilled wix. and no other sites.

HORRIBLE SCAMMERS

Cart2Cart is a complete scam. I paid for their service and their agent (Danil) flat-out lied to me, promising all my items would be transferred as digital products. Instead, everything came out wrong as physical items. When I asked for a refund, they admitted their mistake and told me I’d get my money back by email confirmation. Then they vanished. No response. No refund. Nothing but lies and wasted time. This company is dishonest, unprofessional, and they clearly don’t care about their customers once they’ve taken your money. I will be chasing this until I get my refund and making sure people everywhere know how shady they are. Stay away from Cart2Cart don’t fall into the same trap.

BAD SOFTWARE

Crashed in the middle of file transfer and it cant even be re-started. Their service is hopeless. I guess when their site tells you to also buy insurance against their software failing, then you should know that your going to have bad software and/or they plan to stiff you. Dont buy cart2cart. Why do wix allow these guys on their app market?

To escape this society

To escape this society. I paid $129 to transfer data from shopifiy to wix and they suspended the migration due to an issue. They asked me for $100 more to finish the migration. I said no and requested a refund of the $129. So, they agree to do the migration without me paying the $100. It's really shameful. In addition, I saw that many companies had problems with the data transmitted. I'm now waiting for them to refund me.

Didn't work for me

I think if you don't use apps on Shopify or anything technical you're fine. But from Shopify on ours the blog came in HTML and is uneditable after that, strangely worked in the demo but after the full transfer for around $175 lost we had to delete everything and never heard back from them, which they are response before paying. Embedded images in the blog showed but were not picked up by seo or editable due to all the html and not text transfered. We deleted everything and now have to do manually. We didn't do products because we build off a web design editor so it wouldn't work for us, will for others. Only thing we did was blog and orders, which for $175 is pretty nuts. Orders you can just download off Shopify and upload yourself. Theres no other app options really on wix so this is all you got, consider doing it yourself in some cases before losing that much money. It's quite a burn of cash for nothing if it doesn't work.

DO NOT USE Cart2Cart EVER

NEVER use Cart2Cart in my opinion. My Etsy to Wix transfer was so full of bugs. I had to double check all of their work. As an example, I had to fix several customer contacts that migrated over wrong. It's a good thing I went in and manually checked every single one myself because 2 of the contacts were completely wrong and had other contacts addresses associated to the wrong customers, and it was a mess. I was actually okay with that because what I needed the most was the Product variants and the listing pictures to be transferred over. They ended up not being able to transfer over the 28,000 SKUs saying that is not part of a variant. What???! When I go to "manage product variants" SKUs are part of a variant. They refused to refund and i absolutely will NEVER EVER use them again. I had to start from scratch and wasted over a week on this and then ended up having to delete all of their shoddy work and do everything myself PLUS im out the money and just so incredibly frustrated.

Very easy and fast migration.

The app migrated Etsy store items to Wix pretty fast. Everything was transferred, even the variants and all images in the correct order. I migrated around 250 products with sub-variants. The thing that may need improvement is the currency conversion, or cost transfer. I had my store on Etsy set up in USD main currency, but since I am in Canada, my items appeared on Wix as CAD but the USD number values. Just give users heads up about that, as I had option to convert my store on Etsy in CAD prior to transfer (I think?!)...not sure about that. Anything else was good!

Can I export Wix to another platform using this, and if so which ones will work? Wix is far too simplistic with no real control over product management, unable for instance to even hide the add to cart for certain items from the all products page, its either all or none which does not work for a majority of people. The frustration levels are now too high to continue.

Moved from Ecwid to Wix

I used this app to move my store from Ecwid to Wix. Overall it was fairly easy to use. I had to contact support for a couple of things. I was able to move all my products, orders, and customers with ease. However, my variations did not transfer well, and I had to update all the entries for 80 or so products. I will say that the process would have taken much longer w/o this migration tool.

Very Dishonest, Terrible App, Terrible Customer Service

I would give them 0 stars if i could. The demo migration doesn't tell the story. Their "migration" doesn't include digital products, and it's never disclosed anywhere in their pitch or site...so when you migrate from etsy to wix you lose all your existing already uploaded digital products. Their products upload as physical products. Some CS rep says they'll call you; no one EVER does even after multiple contacts. They refuse a refund, again simply ignoring your requests. Then their physical migration was also a complete mess. Partial uploads, not synced with printful, so you end up fixing or redoing hundreds of products manually AFTER their "migration!" They are worst that having no migration app at all. They cost be three weeks rebuilding everything! Just Terrible!!!!!
