I love that it doesn't require a store, and I like that it's a smooth popup experience. BUT: #1 - the checkout form is plain and ugly and not customizable; #2 - the customer has to click through multiple steps to finish payment, it's so flippin exhausting; #3 - a logged-in member still has to enter their information that's already on their account like their gosh darn name and email. In conclusion, please update this thang.

Can't enter any amount

I searched the AI help on how to add the button to my site where it will allow any amount to be entered by customer for payment. But with the pay button it won't allow any amount. It wants me to add a set amount for an item??? So basically, someone can't go to my site to pay any amount they want to. Dumb.

Google/Apple Pay is not supported.

I chose Wix because they claimed to support Google/Apple Pay. Wix Payments does support Google/Apple Pay, but it works only in Wix Stores. Neither Pay Button, Wix Pricing Plans, Wix Forms&Payments support it. The promos and documentation are misleading.

I can't even adjust the order confirmation email or allow customers to add a discount code! Once my membership is over, I will leave WIX. The check-out is one of the most important things in any online shop and every time I contact support I am given another useless workaround.

will not allow purchaser to buy more than one item at a time. I am trying to use it to sell event tickets. Only one can be purchased at a time. The same is true with the paypal button offered and other purchase platform options

Internationaal slecht te gebruiken

Werkt alleen in je eigen valuta waar je bedrijf geregistreerd is. Ik wil mijn product/dienst in USD verkopen maar dit kan alleen in EUR omdat ik uit Nederland kom. Marketingtechnisch is dit zeer nadelig voor mij.

Doesn't work NO HELP WASTE OF MONEY

I paid the yearly amount for this button $140 BIG MISTAKE !!!! It can not be used unless you have the full program. I have requested help -- NO HELP. Now the app is gone. I want a refund but cant get in contact with anyone.

You have to set the amount for donations. Should be able to put in any amount.

Unnecessary, just a button should be included in ecommerce widget.

I really can't fathom, why do I have to go to such lengths. Give me the damn option in store category, to disable images and pretty much everything apart from a buy now button. It's too many clicks for most people out there, to drag them to my product page. I came here to avoid spending 1 month writing my own site, not searching for 1 month for workarrounds for fairly straight forward and frankly bog standard functionality. I don't want an app, I want the damn widget to give me the option of simply being a button connected to a product, the rest are up to me to design and layout.

Use Square Instead of Wix

If you use Square, you can create a pay button in Square and transfer it to your Wix website. Best of all, there is no cost to do this.

Horrible

The checkout form is HUGE and not customizable. No one will buy with suck a long form. Also I upgraded to Business Unlimited, but I don't need a store. Just. a payment button as I sell online workshops.

Infuriating!

I upgraded the plan so I could accept payments via WIX and then realized they wanted $17/month on top of the upgraded website. I didn't need a store! Just a place for clients to pay. SO FRUSTRATED!

SO DISSAPOINTING

After already paying for a premium business plan, i was horrified to see to accept payments i had to pay another $17 a month.. so disappointed in wix for ripping off small businesses like this. And not even informing them of this until after the website has been made and buisness plan paid for. Clearly it should be built into the plan. Please fix this

Not worth the money

I sell physical products and needed a way to take payments online for those customers who were not comfortable with paying in person. This is a expensive gimmick designed to leech money out of small businesses. WIX, Do better.

After reading all of these poor reviews, why hasn't anything been done to change what's been troubling customers. And this app needs to be free. How can you charge someone $17 a month when people are trying to make money. On top of all of that, WIX, you guys are making money on every single app that's needed. Please stop nickeling and diming people to death. There's going to come a point and time were another company makes things a lot easier and less cost of you don't get things in order.

This is a terrible button that will cost you money. The customer does not have the ability to put in what he owes. Instead it is a set amount and on the back end, no way to edit this button to allow the clients pay any amount. Dont use it!

Can't let customer write in price

I am trying to get donations, but it won't allow people write in their own amount. Not helpful for that. Otherwise, works fine.

Hey wix why can't you add New payment gateway service provider in India for local payments and there is a company called https://razorpay.com/ you can bring this new payment service provider in India as we already have PayPal but seriously in India no one will use this hope you will add https://razorpay.com/ as a service provider for India

I cannot understand why you haven't adapted this critical payment method to Wix! You're costing your clients money by possibly discouraging customers from shopping because this choice method of payment isn't available

Cannot connect square

There is a clear option to connect square but when you click it it just doesn't do anything. This function doesn't seem to be connected to anything. Very strange.

Good idea, but unfinished. It would be good if the button worked on any premium package, and not just the digital store package. In addition, how does the customer get the product? How did it get into his card? Where do you see the connection between the customer and the product he purchased?

Installed but nowhere to be seen

Can't see how to add the button once the app is installed (I've combed the add menu); then I find that there's no support articles or mention of any sort for Pay Button by Wix; and THEN I find I can't uninstall it. Useless
