A visitor types the amount, the rate and the term and sees three figures: the monthly payment, the total interest and the total repaid. Switch on the year-by-year table and they can watch the interest shrink as the capital grows. The sums are done in the visitor's own browser, with the standard annuity formula. Nothing they type is sent to us or to anyone else, and nothing is stored. A 0% offer works: that case divides by zero in the usual formula, so this one divides the amount by the term and says why. Money is held in whole cents, so a 360-row schedule still adds up and the last payment takes up the rounding. You set the starting values, the lowest and highest a visitor may enter, the currency, and whether your annual rate is nominal or effective. Twelve languages, settings panel included. What it does not do: interest and capital only. It excludes arrangement fees, insurance, property tax, overpayments and offsets, so the figures are an estimate rather than a quotation.
