Poptin Pop Ups Email Marketing

App in Ordnung, Support langsam

Well designed and lots of features but...

After speaking with a rep from Poptin it was my understanding that automated emails from wix could be automatically sent after someone subscribed via the poptin pop up. After a couple months of troubleshooting with the rep why emails weren't being automatically sent I eventually found out from contacting wix that third party apps don't work with wix automations. Hours of wasted time could have been easily avoided had I not been led on to believe it was possible for wix automations to work with Poptin.

Good UI, but does not work

I use Poptin for a popup and like the way it looks, but for many users it just plain won't come off the screen when they press the x which is problematic for navigation.

Really Wanted to Like This App, But...

After at least 2 months refining this and trying to make it work a friend pointed out that the screen for my site went gray while using Safari browser. even though in the settings it was enabled. The same happened with Brave browser, but Poptin doesn't support Brave. No wonder I wasn't getting any conversions despite the fact that I had good traffic. Couln't find a HELP tab to ask....Also the App was producing an error message on the top left corner of my home page/banner that wouldn't go away. wix couldn't help, but I really don't have the time to mess with Poptin, so I'm using Convertkit. Just not a strong platform, and design options/settings feel kind of awkward and outdated.

Excellent app

Works great for me. Easy to use, had no problems. EDIT- Display rules seem to be broken, my pop ups now show when opening all pages at all times and is super annoying, have turned them off for now so as not to annoy my customers.

Tried it, but not worth the headache

One popup keeps the customer from going further. Or they don't work right. It maybe me but they aren't as easy to control unless you upgrade, but if the free doesn't work then I'm not spending money to upgrade.

Love the idea, not the practice

I downloaded because it was rated well and I wanted to do something to encourage people who visit the site to sign up for the mailing list. However, after creating a pop up that would offer them a discount if they sign up once I made it active on my page it prevents them from traveling to another page. If they X out and don't enter anything, they can't move to another page to look at products. I just wanted the pop up to appear once to new users, but now it prevents them from shopping my site so I had to turn it off. They tried to fix it, but the same problem persist. Wasn't worth the headache.

Cannot login + no support answer...

I've been playing a little, but now I cant ccess to configure and customize.

Will not appear each visit

OK for free but the display controls appear buggy. Will not appear for each visit as per my configuration. Does not appear to be any support either.

Many problems and difficulties ...

To edit poptin is often hampered by the extremely small tab and when trying to explore colors and formats the system crashes and I need to start from scratch ... not being enough to be "finished" does not appear on the site, even with ALL right!

Features doesn't work as explained and support is rude

Some of the features work and others don't. If you want something that does everything it say it does, than don't waist your time. If you reach to the support they will tell you, you have been doing something wrong. When you explain the error, their response is rude and they don't try to give you a solution, instead they will say you didn't use the correct setting or something.
