App didn't work before and now they deduct another $50
I paid for this app for years. Wix decided to upgrade without notice which caused the app to not work at all. Now I see they want us to pay more money on top of the $50 they just charged me just to make the app work. I want a refund of the money just deducted out of my account and I will continue to just add my own calendar.

We'd like to clarify a few details regarding the charge and the app's pricing. The app has been available free of charge for over a year, and based on our current pricing plans, the app itself would not have charged $50, including for an annual subscription. Regarding the recent pricing changes, these were communicated to customers via email in advance. The changes were not introduced without notice, and the app does not automatically charge for an upgrade. A paid plan can only be activated by selecting the Upgrade option and completing the subscription process. It's therefore possible that the $50 charge may have been related to another Wix app or service. However, we'd be happy to investigate this for you and help determine exactly where the charge came from. Please contact our support team and provide the invoice or receipt showing the $50

Very disappointed
I chose Wix (in 2023) because it offered integration between my Google account and my website, specifically for Google Calendar, Google Sheets, and so on. These apps were offered by Wix for free! That was the reason I signed up. Now, however, all of them have become paid services. It would be understandable for new Wix subscribers to pay for these new apps, since they would be informed upfront. But it is disgraceful to treat existing subscribers this way, people who were sold features that no longer exist. Why weren't those free apps kept available? I don't blame MarketPushPlace, they make good apps, but rather the way the Wix App Market is organized. Pushing customers to make multiple individual purchases strikes me as a surprising strategy...

There seems to be a misunderstanding regarding the cost—our Premium plan is actually $1.99/month on the monthly plan, or $1.25/month on the yearly plan (both including a 3-day free trial), rather than $10/month. Providing this app at no cost was our pleasure for over a year. As the tool's usage scaled, the backend resources required to keep those connections stable and fast also expanded. To sustain this performance and ensure the service remains dependable for everyone, introducing a subscription model became an essential step. Charging for Something that used to be Free!
The old Google calendar app was deprecated. It actually worked nicely and matched my site theme better, and it was FREE. Now they force you into the new Google calendar app and it appears to be free, yeah free to "install" on your site, NOT free to use. That's dishonest marketing! That use of the word "free" is meaningless because no one needs to know that it's free to install, we need to know that the full implementation (install and use) is free or not. Adding a pre-use step of "install" just to be able to use the word "free" has no meaning and no utility. It's just a scam.

Regarding pricing, the app was listed as free while offered at no charge. Following our transition, the listing explicitly displays "3 day free trial" below the install button. We also sent advance notice emails to all active users well ahead of the change. Providing this app for free for over a year was our pleasure. Misrepresentation of "Free"
The calendar has just disappeared. I am not paying for another thing on this website - it is becoming too expensive. Thinking of dumping Wix.

Major disappointment from A GREEDY IT GIANT.
As everyone posted here, this is a bait, luring us, users as a free app and after making it impossible to switch to other calendar apps, they force us to upgrade. Not fair, when we think about how much money they have made already. Greedy. Very disappointed.
