Disappointed
This app was the one that Wix insisted I use after discontinuing support for the original one they recommended. Now, just a short time later, they are charging for this app. This is the second time that a change has been made without Wix notifying me... The elements appear to just cease to work on my website out of thin air, and then I am forced to scramble to come up with a replacement.

Charging for Something that used to be Free!
The old Google calendar app was deprecated. It actually worked nicely and matched my site theme better, and it was FREE. Now they force you into the new Google calendar app and it appears to be free, yeah free to "install" on your site, NOT free to use. That's dishonest marketing! That use of the word "free" is meaningless because no one needs to know that it's free to install, we need to know that the full implementation (install and use) is free or not. Adding a pre-use step of "install" just to be able to use the word "free" has no meaning and no utility. It's just a scam.

Very disappointed to find out you now charge for something we have had on our site for 10+ years
Revising my review to clarify. The app itself works well, and the app team, MarketPushApps, has an excellent customer service team who responds quickly. I blame Wix for the new additional fees. Wix hosting prices have continued to go up over the years. Wix, you should figure out a way to make this work without nickel and diming your customers.

Sad! We are a not-for-Profit
Adding the Google calendar to our Wix website is important to a small not-for-profit. It is sad that we have to pay for yet another thing. These month fees and subscriptions are getting unbearable. Also, we are not so stupid to know that AI is not helping us, it is just gathering data and slowing us down! SAD state of affairs.

Very disappointed
I was very disappointed to see that out of no where we are now being charged (held hostage) for the use of this app. Found out we are now being charged when I tried to look at the calendar and it was no longer available. We already pay a very high rate to use wix.

It was good while it lasted.

The cut & paste response to other reviews is not helpful. *Thank you for your response! I should have looked at this long term to see if a pay for app is what we would require after a year. Major disappointment from A GREEDY IT GIANT.
As everyone posted here, this is a bait, luring us, users as a free app and after making it impossible to switch to other calendar apps, they force us to upgrade. Not fair, when we think about how much money they have made already. Greedy. Very disappointed.

BOO GOOGLE!
This app was free and all of a sudden it stopped working. I come to find out they switched to a pay-only option. In other words, they have us under a barrel, or we have to find another app. As if Google isn't making enough money!! This is GREED, nothing else. Remember when Google's motto was "Don't be evil"? Yeah, they gave that up years ago.

Annoyed
Annoyed that the previously free link to a Google Calendar is now a required paid subscription. It's not that much, true, so there are worse things. But the change happened WITHOUT notice. Was getting inquiries about what happened to the calendar, I thought it was just a typical Wix thing where things were loading slow. Turns out our "free" trial (never knew we were in free trial mode) had ended and now we had to pay. Could have communicated better. Still have users saying the calendar doesn't work for them. Can't figure out why.

At one time this was a free app. You decided to get greedy and make us pay for it. Thanks for nothing! I've run a Volunteer only business, going to nursing homes and entertaining the people there. I need a free Event Calendar. I don't have extra money to spend on your calendar. I'm very disappointed and you being so darn greedy!

Bait and Switch! Now requires a paid subscription for a calendar.
Just discovered my Events calendar is no longer displayed, because team MarketPushApps decided to require an annual subscription. You'll see review responses from their team about how costs for "development, maintenance, infrastructure, and support" necessitated a subscription to keep improving the app. My guy, it's a calendar. I don't need it to keep improving, and I doubt it needs much maintenance. A calendar is a fundamental part of many websites, and I assume this was your most used app. Team MarketPushApps, If you want to monetize all those users to pay for development of future gems like Masonry Image Gallery, then good luck I guess. If you want to make money, do it by making apps for worthwhile paid services. If my site really needs a Wedding Countdown Timer or World & Countries Map, I could pay for your version.

Wix getting greedy
After a year of use, this is no longer free. Managing finances for a church organization has become even more difficult in todays economy and now Wix is nickel and diming us to death. Nothing but a money grab. They started with removing support for google docs, now this. Shameful!

This app is quite clean, rather convenient to use
Our website has incorporated this application for a while now. Keeping a yearly calendar events on a Google Calendar allows us to not consume a lot of Wix plan storage space. We are a bit concerned, being a nonprofit, that this app is no longer considered free after July 31. We understand budgets are tight, yet we also are an entity which we must make certain every dollar we have is appropriately spent in honest, humble stewardship.

Great calendar app, even if not much to it.
This is a great, simple app to easily add a public calendar of events for all to see on my site. I tried a few calendar apps with little-to-no success of getting them to look great on both desktop & mobile views. Some apps come with tons of customizable features, but at either a high monthly cost or with with caveats in functionality. This Google Calendar app is FREE and looks great. Sadly, there's no way to change the calendar background color from white, but I can live with that. This is the one to get! Also, the tech support from Jack at the team was excellent. I had an issue where I accidentally deleted the app from my editor and couldn't get it back. I reached out to the tech support and within minutes, Jack let me know what to do to get it back. :)

Disappointing and unreliable
The previously supplied Wix google calendar app worked well and was included in our subscription. This app has had a couple of big issues for us and our non-profit site does not have the time to check it daily to ensure our bookings calendar is working. Maybe the paid-for upgrade would be better but we are not able to commit funds to that. Deleting the app.

Great Support Team
I had been trying to change the incorrect time zone in my calendar for weeks but no success. I chatted today with the support team (go Jack!) and he patiently and deftly guided me through the steps to delete, then redownload the app correctly. I'm very grateful for the help!

Wonderful app
Jack of MarketPushApps helped me figure out how to adjust our event calendar's time zone so that it shows the correct Arizona times. The times had been off by an hour since Daylight Savings Time began on March 9. Jack was very responsive and made several suggestions on how to resolve the issue. He found a solution! I am very relieved!
