When a visitor who arrived through a tagged link later submits a form on your site - whether it's a contact form, a newsletter signup, or a booking request - that submission can be recorded as a lead, along with whatever campaign information was associated with that visit. This is intended to give you a picture of which channels are contributing to form submissions, not just page views.
