Let's be straight about what happened here. We upgraded. We paid. We built. And then without a word, without a reason, and without so much as an explanation, they quietly knocked us back down to the free plan and kept charging us for the privilege of nothing. When we asked why... and more importantly, how long we'd been paying for a plan we weren't on... they had no answer. Zero. Just silence and confusion from a company that clearly has no idea what's happening on their own platform. The products are underwhelming, the support is a dead end, and the whole operation runs like nobody's actually in charge. We don't waste time on things that don't deliver and neither should you. Save your money. Find another app. This one isn't worth a second look.

Can't even get to set up

Nothing happens when I click complete set up- a blank page appears and that is the end of the line.

Shipping costs are more than product prices

Not worth it. I'm not in the business of ripping my customers off.

Oh, so bad...

I installed the app and everything looked OK, the only problem was the rating plug in that didn't showed... but that could be OK. Then I checked e.g. EU - EU opportunities in cosmetics = basically 0! I found a UK company Revitaleyes, claiming that ships from Germany (you know avoiding D&T), but when I checked their web store the retail prices were the same as cost of material on Modalyst... who would buy from me with 100% higher prices???? I deleted everything, not worth loosing time.

Don't Go Pro

Added Pro plan a few months ago, got my site feeling good, branded, updated descriptions and all... to only have a ton of suppliers leave without warning. I thought my account had a glitch, was talked to like I'm dumb, and then I show them a video shot of what is going on, to only be told vendors left without warning. How do you not have contracts or dates of renewal or some form of agreement with your suppliers?! As a single proprietor who does all the work, this is beyond unprofessionalism to my customers, all because you guys can't get it right with your suppliers. At least let us message suppliers directly in the future, so they can directly tell the retailers what's going on brand related, not just order related. You don't need to be the middleman on everything.

Scammy - put me automatically at the Pro Plan for 3 years!

So I'm one of these people now making a negative review. I'm sure the app worked well, but I spent hours trying to downgrade it to the free version. I eventually deleted it.

Horrible App

I can't believe this is promoted as the number 1 dropshipping solution and integrated into Wix as a "premium feature". Worst of all when I tried pro before I realized the multitude of flaws this app has and wanted to downgrade I was unable to and sent back and forth between Wix and Modalyst customer care only to have the AI tell me I could not downgrade and must cancel and remove it. It lacks simple options to set things like shipping unlike other apps which will ship from cheapest location, you cannot save filtered searches and they dont integrate with shipping apps wanting to provide their own shipping which makes a lot of products from Ali express and Alibaba inaccessible and I suppose $5 in the US is acceptable but having a 15 to 20 dollar shipping rate to other countries and then saying add that price into my pricing as a way to give customers free shipping is ludicrous. Why would they even buy my products if they are $20 more than my competitors? Waste of time/money

Waste of TIME & MONEY !

This app Ali, and AliExpress are all a waste of time and money. The integration with Wix is horrible. Unfortunately you won't know how horrible it is until a customer orders and then you find out it's going on 3 months and the customers'orders still haven't been processed. Now your store get the backlash. This isn't worth the troubles.

This app has taken over everything

I am constantly getting msgs (when site is open) that i cannot sell a certain product (from another dropshipping company) because it is the same as one of theirs. I use another dropshipping, paid, for clothing. Modalyst has had many suppliers leaving them and everything is very over priced - even ali express and alibaba! I can find all less expensive elsewhere. I wonder why so many suppliers have left? I wish I could get the remainder of my subscription back. I paid for a year. I was a fool. Modalyst is not worth the money.

Horrible app

If a program that I uses has issues I work with the creators of the program to resolve it. I have been having the same issue with Modelist for over 6 month. I created an account on Wix Classic and added a store. I also had a second store on Wix Studio. Both stores were running fine till both stores stopped syncing products all together. I keep getting the same answer you cant have two stores. Well you would think with all the technology advancements we have you can run as many stores like a bank account... Please be careful while using this app as I don't think it up to the task of working with larger shippers.

App Teases Great Things but Cannot Deliver

I connected the Modalyst app to my store, designed a product, sent it to the import queue, and then clicked "Add to Store". The one product that I designed and attempted to add to my store became stuck in the sync queue. Neither Modalyst nor Wix offered any explanation why or how to fix this problem. Plain and simple, it just does not work.

Horrible. Had to cxl subscription after 2 weeks and find a new vendor.

I added Modalyst to my store and tried a test purchase, which automatically failed. I wasn't able to pay my 2 invoices for products due to 400 errors with their payment vendor- PayPal. The "login with PayPal" option was completely broken and the "Pay with a credit card" option got the Review Payment screen and threw an error when I tried to process payment. I emailed Modalyst back and forth for over a week trying to get it resolved as I physically couldn't pay them for the pending order. They constantly sent me to PayPal. I called PayPal and spoke with their backend team- they said the issue was on Modalyst's side. To make matters worse, I had duplicate charges on my credit card for the purchases that I was attempting- so Modalyst was processing my payment but not giving me a confirmation screen on the site or sending me a confirmation email. I don't get paid to be the middle man between Modalyst and PayPal. I'm also not going to struggle to pay someone for their products.

Dont' EVEN try .... I can't explain how bad this app sucks.

not liking it

Everything was good for a bit then one day I noticed it was upgraded at $30 a month that I did not do, I was on hobby plan. When trying to downgrade it, it doesn't allow you too. Finally deleted it.

Frustrating and Not Worth it

I added this app not realizing it has a monthly membership. I wasn't prompted to pick a membership by cost or anything. It just asked me if this was for a hobby or business. Had I known it has a monthly fee, I would have never added it because I was just playing around with it to see what I could add to my store. It doesn't have enough items related to what I sell to be worth adding it to my website. I'm very frustrated about this and wish I had never seen this as an option.

Dont use !!!!

was going great, i payed for premium and everything. Until the volume picked up and i started processing lots of orders, suddenly they told me i was accused of fraud and refused to supply me. im struggling to get my money back after paying for the pro plan. Total scam, avoid this. They commit fraud then accuse you of it.

Not allowing me to add 250products

I reported the issue to a Modalyst representative and she told me WIX advertisement is not correct and that I should not be able to add 250 products because I have a monthly subscription not yearly which is NOT correct per WIX and my past use of the premium plan.

Doesn't work as Advertised

Two words... Bait and switch. They're listing prices that are half of what you pay once you dig in and try to get a customer's their order. Orders had problems with fulfillment where we had to go to AliExpress and get the product which was listed at double the price of what's on the Modalyst app.

Aucun support client qui vous répond qu'après 1 journée minimum et l'origine des produits est Asie à 90%, donc peu ou pas conforme aux normes de l'U.E avec des délais de livraison à 15 jours pour 50 euros. Si vous ne souhaitez ne pas perdre vos clients évitez cette plateforme.

this is so frustrating and making me more and more angry every day

I have spent thousands of hrs working on my site and the connection will not show the product shipping times on my website. So no one will purchase would you if you did not know when it would be delivered. People think my website sucks and I can not get a sale. I hate hate hate hate Modalyst at the moment there customer service is non existent takes hrs for someone to get back to you and they do nothing and if your not there when they respond your shit out of luck . I have never in my life had such a horrible experience except the telephone companies. Modalyst you totally suck and not even worth 1 star

Uma verdadeira farsa

Não faz as transações de vendas automatizado e o pior quando vc vai fazer de forma manual, o pruduto acaba ficando mais caro que o valor que foi vendido em nossa loja.

O Aplicativo não serve para Dropshipping

Recomendo a todos que não façam a adesão do Modalyst para a finalidade de Dropshipping, pois a principio voce consegue fazer quase tudo, como importar produtos, editar informações, enviar para sua loja, enquanto a isso tudo bem, porem se voce vender algum produto terá problemas pois não conseguirá fazer isso de forma automatizada como nos precisamos ele da um erro e quando vc tenta pedir a ajuda ao suporte eles dizem que o erro e do AliExpress e isso não e verdade pois eu ja investiguei e o mesmo não procede, pois o erro de fato e do MODALYST mesmo.

Horrível

Não percam tempo! Tudo dá erro! Após fazer a compra não conseguia sincronizar com o Alliexpress e o suporte pediu para fazer manualmente, mas o valor era bem mais alto do que quando cadastrado na modalyst.

It's sad to work so much, invest money in advertising, and then lose customers because of the negligent operation of the application.

cannot start a business as too expensive for customers. shipping is more expensive than the item. unavailable 80% in my country. premium plan such a waste.

Most of the products are from Aliexpress. Not many products with fast shipping

If I could say ZERO stars I would

Save Yourself the Agony and Frustration! This app is a total scam! Every single transaction has a problem. Customer Service is terrible and that's when they actually answer a question. They start to help and just walk away so you sit around all day to see if they'll return to the Chat. Latest issue is my customers received COD deliveries after I paid for shipping because "customs fees are the responsibility of the retailers customer." They arrived with very sketchy looking emails that I would not have even opened. What the....?? Have you EVER paid a customs fee COD for a package delivery? Of course not! Please Do Not Use this App! You will stock your store and have to restock it because of product issues and eventually you will have to delete your entire inventory and start over.

Not worth the hassle

Modalyst seems like a tool that was once useful but was abandoned by its makers and never really finished. It is possible to use it to manage AliExpress or Alibaba products in your store but it's cumbersome and prices fluctuate so much that you can't reliably offer customers anything. You can't fix a price because one day the supplier can double it and you would end up losing money. Plus shipping times from China (where most products originate from) are in the months range, not days. You're more likely to frustrate and lose customers than build any kind of lasting relationship with them if you use Modalyst and Ali.

Product Cost it too high and poor Quality

Product Cost + Shipping Cost is much higher. I have checked the product price on multiple platforms, Customer price is lower than the cost of the product listed on Modalyst.

Not Impressed!

Prices vary drastically for same product. Can only use Modalyst on one site at a time (I have 3). Assistance is VERY FRUSTRATING - Just not worth the headaches...

I do not like!

I tried this app hoping to up sales in my online store. A few people bought some items and four months later still hadn't received what they ordered. I had to reimburse them out of my own pocket and apologize for the awful service.

They do not keep you up to date with product costs or availability. their customer service is rude or unresponsive! I've lost more money using them. Run! Do not try them!

AliExpress doesn't cost anything to use.

disappointing

I have been trying to sync the products to my website but it wont sync, it keeps saying "Your product has been added to your store" and when I check my website its not there.

The way the pricing is setup you will not make money unless you want to make $1 or $2 seriously. They are the worst drop shipper I've worked with. They will lie, tell you what you need to hear to get what they want want. They are BAD business

I canceled this app and someone from Modalyst just made a fraudulent charge to my account for $360! Being as this app was canceled they still have my card number number! People be careful!

Worst costumer service

Looked too sketchy to even try

I'm really bummed out after signing up for this app, I immediately cancelled everything. After starting to look through the items to add to my store it was nothing but sketchy looking junk. There were a couple items from brands I already carry in my brick and mortar store, but who knows if they are real or fake after looking at the rest of the offerings. I'm too worried about damaging my brand reputation to risk having items be low quality or not show up. It just looks like the same junk from China that floods every internet store and I didn't see anything special. Best of luck to those that want to try that kind of business model but it is not for me. I hate that I made the decision to buy my Wix plan based on assuming this feature was something different.

Difficult to work with, poor support, does not function as expected or advertised

It is very uncomfortable receiving orders below margin, that are out of stock, unpaid, or having to refund money to clients for products that never ship or show up.
