    Didn't notify of service disruption for 5 days

    Used these guys for 10 years. Then they suffered a "malicious attack" on 01 May, so nothing clients sent to us came through from that date. On 05 May, they finally told us about it. In the app back-end, we saw we missed 2 projects from clients during those 5 days. They admit they should have told us sooner and offered a small discount, but not nearly enough. We've cancelled our renewal.

      Thank you for your feedback. To clarify: the disruption lasted only a few hours on May 1st, not 5 days. Notification was delayed because the affected system was our mail server itself — making email alerts impossible during the outage. We handled the situation with full transparency and regret the inconvenience caused.

    unauthorized renewal

    i havent used this app for a very long time. then i notice a charge and theres no way to reverse it. i didnt approve the charge and its unclear how to receive a refund

If you have a subscription with Wix that is set to auto-renew thus your subscription will be automatically renewed at the end of the billing period in case it is not canceled. Please email support@boomte.ch with the URL of your website so that we are able to cancel your subscription and process the necessary refunds.

    paying for upgrades that dont work!

    I pay for pro package so that I get payments with form submission,,, but for months the payment section doesn't come up. it also sends the form without payment confirmation, so its extra steps to ensure the people actually paid the application fee. id like a credit for the months that the payments havent been working!

    that kind of app that makes it hard to unsubscribe

    so i wanted to try the app for a few month and now I cannot find where to unsubscribe and it seems to be designed that way - kinda shady in the end....

    I occasionally did not receive notice of submissions in email - which has cost big-time. They had 3 opportunities to fix it before I canceled and went to a much better service. Company has been harassing me to remove my review. Would never recommend due to that alone.

    Okay forms no good if you actually want to use the data

    The forms design is okay, not amazing but okay. Doesn't render well on mobile on occasions, hard for users to make sense of sometimes. But biggest issue is if you want to access teh data submitted. It's very hard to find the dat you are looking for and a shame as such basic and easy things to fix. The submissions drop down doesn’t show full name of the form until you hover over, minor but frustrating if you have longer forms names. Once you have found the right form finding old data is tedious as you can only seem to filter to 1 month at a time, there is a past 90 days option but if data form last year forget it. If you recreate a form it separates the data into versions of the forms adding to the difficulty. At an overview level of all forms, you can’t search or filter in anyway. In summary creating forms is okay but if you want to use the data on the forms it’s almost impossible. I end up saving each form submission elsewhere if I need to use and find it later.

    Missing Critical Feature

    The form doesn't support multi page forms. It also doesn't support dynamic fields that make new options appear or affect whether you submit or go to additional form pages. I paid for 1 year and their feature list teased a feature they do not support.

      Hey, Happy to inform you that our App supports all the features you have mentioned. You can start creating multi-page forms by enabling the Pagination add-on (Add-ons > Open Add-ons). You can also enable the Logic add-on to support dynamic fields by setting the conditions you need. In case your current plan doesn’t support those add-ons, please provide us with the published URL of your form and we will activate a Business trial on your end so that you can check how all the advanced features work.     False Advertising

      Dear user, I guess there might be a slight confusion. The Free plan of our app supports 5 forms and 10 fields (per form). Whereas, the Starter plan supports 15 forms and 30 fields (per form). The starter plan costs $4.99/month. If this was the only reason you give us 1 star, but in general you liked building forms with our App we are ready to give you a free annual plan.     No Help

    Reached out for help on multiple occasions and no one responded. The app has many glitches when you use logic, or perhaps I am using it wrong but I wouldn't know because the company never responded to my requests.

    Jammed my webpage

    It jammed my site builder on wix. It covered the entire span of the page, and I couldn't resize it down. Then it made the entire page go blank - so I couldn't even find it to select it and delete the form.

      Hi there, The form actually works fine with all Wix templates. It is added with a standard size that should not block your entire page. If necessary, you can resize the form, like any other Wix element (with the two-headed arrow that appears on the border of the element). There might be a specific problem on your end that caused the form to malfunction. Can you please reach out to us at support@boomte.ch so we can discuss it?

    Very Glitchy

    Fine for basic contact forms but if you are having files submitted through the forms or need it to work every time, I would consider something else. When files get submitted, sometimes they come through as blank or inopenable. Had tech support help us several times to try and fix but after they fix it a few days later it starts happening again. Helpful customer support but it's glitchy. Hope they fix it.

      Hi Mario, We have reached out to you several times regarding your issue. The issue is very rare and connected with user’s OS or Browser version or Internet connection. Thus we updated the system and put a note. So, if there occurs some error and the file isn’t attached, the user gets a notification to attach the file again. Like this we make sure all the files you receive to your Dashboard can be opened properly. This should work 100%.     I CAN'T DELETE THIS STUPID FORM

    I installed this app and now it won't get off of my website. It's not what I was looking for and my 1 star review is for the HORRIBLE design. They make it way too difficult to delete this monstrosity from my website. Now it's just sitting there taking up space making my website look hideous.

      Hey, Deleting a form is as easy as any website component in Wix Editor. You just need to click on the form and press the delete button or right click on the form and choose delete. DON'T FORGET TO SAVE/PUBLISH YOUR WEBSITE AFTER A CHANGE!

    Very disappointing service. Terrible licensing. Slow service.

    Our forms stopped working after less than one month. We purchased a year upfront (over $100) for a contact form. We thought this was a good company... we were wrong and we learned the hard way. If you redesign your site by creating a new Wix design and transferring (even using the same premium package) the forms will stop working and this company will not help you. They will tell you to reach out to Wix. Wix will tell you they can do nothing for you. Big run around. We ultimately had to start a dispute with our bank. Every other 3rd party app we have transferred fine. This short sited licensing decision on their part cost us money and caused lots of trouble.

    Upload Not working properly

    I did enjoy the form for a few days at least. Well....that's over. Now, it seems that it's not letting you upload multiple files. When you upload one file and then select another file to upload...the previous selected file is no longer there. The only way to make files stay is if you select all of the files at one time, which for some of my clients is problematic since the files aren't necessarily stored in the same places. It just started doing it today. Considering that I get in 10-15 submissions a day with anywhere from 5-10 files for each...this has been a big pain and I've had to go to all of my clients and have them send files directly. Basically, the point of using this form is a WASTE!

      Dear User, Thanks for your review. We are so sorry, to hear that you've experienced such difficulties and partly lost your data. Unfortunately, it's the standard HTML "File Upload" behavior for all the modern browsers, that is resetting files when you are trying to choose new ones. You can partially solve this problem by adding several file upload fields(for each category). We will definitely develop advanced file upload method, which will allow choosing files from different folders, as soon as possible and will let you know.

    Not a good first impression

    Sounded promising. Went with the premium option. Just an hour later, Form Creator editor wouldn't load, and BoomForm website completely down. Hope that they reimburse! I need a reliable program, but this company doesn't even have their own website complete. I should have taken that as a sign.

    App got completely screwy when I tried to delete a field. No good if you need a customized form.

    Not impressed

    The form does not work correctly on mobile phone displays. Also it's not possible to add file upload field! There is need to upgrade app, which does not mentioned in description.

      Dear User, A technical mistake through no fault of our own had occurred causing the App not being available for mobile for a while. The problem has already been fixed and now you can view your forms on mobile as on desktop. As to the "Upload Field", you may have not noticed, but it was clearly mentioned in the "Features & Pricing" Tab that the "Upload field" is the first premium feature.
