don't if your trying to upgrade the basic wix blog

this app is most likely for 1 page blog sites. i was excited to use this but there was no way to link to my home page. Now I'm having a heck of a time removing it.

This Blog is Terrible!!!

I just downloaded this app. Went in to start adding my content, and it gives an error message, telling me that something went wrong. This is the only app that has not worked on Wix. This should honestly be deleted from the Wix programs. I can't believe it's even an option!!! Wasted my time with this one.

User unfriendly

I wanted to test what blog would look like as I set up my website, and then remove it. The instructions for deleting it are very poor. I can't figure out how to get it off my practice pages.

Can't believe they want to charge for this blog

Glitchy, won't let me change the color of main font. Won't let me re-organize the blog posts, Can't control how you want new posts to be featured. Worst blog I've every seen.

Si vous n'êtes pas regardants, pourquoi pas. Mais sinon, c'est une appli sur laquelle on ne peut rien faire, à part écrire. Il n'y a pas la possibilité de changer la taille de police (seulement titre 1, titre 2, etc), il n'y a pas la fonction "centrer" (la base, quoi), il n'y a pas la possibilité de mettre des commentaires, etc. Même avec un design épuré, cette fonction blog ne donne rien de pro ni même de correct. La seule manière de faire un truc potable, c'est d'écrire votre texte dans un autre éditeur, de l'enregistrer en jpeg, puis de le poster en tant qu'article de blog. Mais même là, vous n'aurez pas la possibilité de proposer à vos lecteurs d'interagir car il n'y a pas de section commentaires.

Very poor design and user experience

Even free blogs come with basic features with some amazing options thrown in to make it a great experience. As a premium user, I am expecting an intuitive user experience that delivers more than just basic. I had to add comments app separately and every time I post, on the mobile, the posts overlap! A blog by default carries basic options for layout, archive, following other blogs, posting comments and networking with fellow bloggers. The fact that WIX also does not allow additional blogs to be added makes it worse. I have three menu items one for food, art, travel. While I was able to use the blog to post food recipes, I am struggling to add unique blog pages for these three categories. Fact that your easy blog is far from easy makes me cringe!

Simple but works

Unlike Wix Blog which is absurdly complicated and buggy, Easy Blog lives up to its name. I'm not sure why they created three separate buttons for blog creation instead of simply offering the option to add an image or video to a standard post, but it still works the same. My one complaint is that even a free version of an app should include basics like text formatting so posts look neat and tidy, and the blog should fill the Wix space rather than be a narrow column down the middle. The price plan descriptions are also not accurate. The free plan only has one layout and only the text is configurable. Still, it's a fast, simple way to post thoughts if analytics and interaction are not required.

I enjoy using this for all my short stories an lore helps me be more creative hate to see it go! breaks my heart that this is more popular then then easy blog app. I feel they both give good use but I have to say I favor the Easy Blog more. It provides the essential needs for me as a writer and world builder to release the content my readers look for An its easy to work with for on the go needs mobile or Ipad accessibility when needed you can schedule when you like to post an on that day its up. I could talk about how much I enjoy Easy Blog App but Wix Blog App has It's perks to but there not as flawless an helpful for me as a story teller an writer world builder.

Was hoping for more...

This is definitely a very basic blog. However, very limited. Can't insert links, add pics in blog post, etc. Unfortunately, this blog does not suit my needs as a blogger.

On ne peut pas partager les post séparément, le service client ne répond pas et même quand on prend a version payante, il n'y a aucune fonctionnalité en plus !

Blog is independent and can't be integrated into your site

The blog only works as a completely separate page on your site. The content is kept in the stand-alone app, and you can't actually put pictures, videos, or hyperlinks in the posts.

Wix app is not really good...

Even smaller website business is easy to use and communicate with some representatives who can help people. but wix is different. I hope wix run proper customer support.

Very Minimal Features :(

I was thinking of switching from wordpress to wix for my blog, but the blog features only have the bare minimum. Doesn't allow you to see the number of followers on your blog, a blog archive, or tags for your website. They shouldn't have rolled this out with these very minimal features. Not worth it at all and very disappointing.

Even the free blog app is barely worth having. It doesn't offer much. There are better tools out there (that also cost less!). DEFINITELY not worth the monthly fee.

Easy blog showing issue

Easy Blog is helpful when you want too post in a blog style downside has a bad habit of not showing on page after repetitive saves and publishing. Causing one too restart an hour or two of posts with another app. Would need improvement.
