Difficult to configure, but works very well

I was apprehensive to install this app on my website because of the poor reviews. I was close to uninstalling it after running into problems getting it to work and difficulty in configuring it how I wanted, but after battling through that, it works great and presents my videos in a very professional looking GUI for my site visitors. I'm very happy with it.

Wix video easy to use and works well but Wix video won't be much use if we can't get Google to list our videos.

Was doing great

Hadn't had any problems until recently. My videos are not displaying. It will only display videos from my Youtube channel but none of my library videos will.

Great but missing a couple of key features

The video app is great - very easy to use, looks good I like that I can customise the layout as well, the app is just missing a couple of key features that would make it perfect for members of my video library website. The first is a search function - I can search the video library from the back end by typing in a key word and it seems to have the beginnings of a search function for the front end as there is a tags section for each video and it says that this is to "help your viewers search for the right video" but then nowhere for them to enter a key word search. The "categories" is helpful but not quite enough. The other feature my members have requested a lot is a personal favourites page - I believe this is possible with e-commerce stores but not in the video app. These features would be possible using a database and re-uploading all videos to the media manager but the video capacity is much lower there than on the wix video app with premium so this wouldn't be possible for me.

Why can't I put a cover on my video in "VIDEO PLAYER" like i can the others? That is not good. The only thing it lets you do is a COLOR???? I don't get it. Only b/c I can do it on other videos. I would like to use "video player"??? Thank you ... Why does Wix not have that? I don't understand

NEEDS BETTER COMMENTS SECTION!

I really love this video app as I've been able to create my own channel on my site. However, my viewers really want an easier way to comment on each video. PLEASE create an open dropdown box below the video for COMMENTS!!! Also, the current comments function is really limited and doesn't send notification to me when someone comments.

I havent used this app

I am disappointed that wix has nothing for telemedicine. Wix treats everyone like they trade or sell something completely omitting the service industry like doctors and lawyers. Please GET THE LOGMEININC companies like go to connect and go to meeting OR ring central. Cell phones can do all of these videos. No one wants to use wix to take pics or videos but people need business solutions integrated into their web site wix helps build. Common WIX!!! Do it fast.. GO TO CONNECT

Need Live Streaming Analytics

I like it, it does what I need. The only thing missing is some live streaming analytics, that prevents me from rating 5 stars.

youtube mobil quality is bad

from youtube video on mobile is bad quality , can't change the quality from 360p to 1080p, otherwise everything is ok.

Unfortunate.

Unfortunately, with autoplay on, it forces me to mute it. This doesn't allow me to make something with a purpose, like welcoming people with a video.

HD Capabilities Missing

Great app, only problem is that wix should incorporate a bar like Youtube that allows you to stream the quality you want, such as 1080P, 720P etc This will help when people watch. It would be great to incorporate 4k + technology without the site becoming sluggish and slow. Its difficult for my customers to get the same quality the youtube has. This player has great capability but it needs some serious ground breaking improvements that will place it on a YouTube and better class.

Errores conocidos de la APP

La aplicación cumple pero faltan algunas cosas que podrían arreglar: 1.- No soporta calidades grandes ya que lo muestra aparentemente a 720p aunque sea 4K 2.- Cuando el audio es de muy alta calidad el vídeo tiende a tener "ruido" cuando se escucha por lo que suena molesto para el usuario [Me pasó con música algo aguda] 3.- Soporta MKV pero en archivos grandes si no se codifica bien, tu vídeo se trabará y dará la sensación de que es la conexión a internet, pero en realidad es el vídeo que no se procesó bien. 4.- Nulo soporte a subtitulo 5.- Nulo soporta a página dinámicas 6.- El usuario no puede elegir la calidad de la transmisión, la app optará por realizarla automáticamente, lo cuál en algunos casos si el usuario tiene intermitencia en su red optará por la peor calidad y si quiere ver de nuevo el vídeo seguirá en esa calidad hasta que haga F5 7.- Cuando realizas un "Live" no es posible borrar el vídeo, y aunque lo elimines sigue apareciendo después de horas. [En sí no sé si sea un error o sea normal] 8.- El ajuste de la pantalla es algo malo, cuando se ajusta a pantallas pequeñas el rango de visualización baja demasiado, se ven más las miniaturas de los demás vídeos, la información desaparece del vídeo y el vídeo principal se hace demasiado pequeño llegando al punto de que los íconos se ven más grandes

Videos on mobile devices are not shown in HD

Why is it, that my Videos, which are HD recorded and uploaded on YT, are not shown in HD 1080p on my phone?? Any suggestions???

Very nice and useful app but need more selling options

I've added Wix Video on my site in order to sell Online Course Videos and I must upgrade to a premium plan to proceed. But before that I need some answers. The app provides 2 different options for selling; 1)Monthly subscription and 2) Price per video. What I need is to sell a group of videos together or the the whole Channel like ''Buy Section 1 for 500$''. How do we sell let's say 10 videos together for one price, not each video per price. And about the subscription option; when a customer subscribes for a channel and wants to cancel the monthly subscription 4 months later, will he/she be charged for a whole year or just monthly?

Great App! I Would Love To See...

I love the Wix Video App. To make me upgrade to Premium I would love to see: 1. Wix Video plugged into Wix Members so that my website members can manage what they are subscribe to on my website. 2. If it could be plugged into a Website Membership Subscription Service (like how we subscribe to Wix) so that members can upgrade their membership and get access to various levels of content (such as videos). Extremely happy with this plugin but here is my dilemma ... I started out using the WIX store for video clip sales... I had to zip products, create a 10 second preview etc. Loved the control. But wow I saw this and was blown away with the look and feel but is there a way to use the WIX stores capability with this plugin? that would be AWESOME>

Hello, I want to create online programs where my client would have classes on videos and writen teachings, pictures, receipes, etc... They would purchased the program and then be directed to their private member page where all the programs they have purchsed would be and then they would click on the program they would like to start, and they would have all the weekly content (videos and etc...) displayed and avalble for them. I want the videos to be streaming not downloads, Also, the price for Premium is it a one time 9$ or a monthly payment? Is this APP included if I Boost my Unlimited Premium to Ecommerce Premium? This is A great app! But please add a feature where you can sell video footage with A license. Just like the wix artstore does that with photos!

Ich finde die App schon großartig. Was mir aber noch fehlt sind: eine Untertitel-, Sprachen wechsel-Funktion. Eine Funkion um Werbung einzublenden, eine Gutscheinfunktion und eine Funktion um die Videos direkt in eine von mir selbst programmierte App einzubinden. Außerdem wäre es schön wenn man den Player nicht mit der Bildschirmaufnahme aufnehmen könnte. Natürlich, das ist sehr viel. Würde die App allerdings auch unschlagbar machen!

Great Start! Not sure how...

Not sure how my users are able to switch between channels though. It seems like having a channels function should give them the ability to switch between categorized video topics. It seems when install the app on your page you can only have one channel available at a time. I could be wrong and this could be user error but I couldn't find anything on the help forums.

great app, but could you please involve the possibility to sell access to the videos not only for one month but also 6 months or 12 months. that would offer the chance to sell access to long term customers for less money as a discount. thanks!

Hi, is there a way to make the videos autoplay from one video to the next. I may have missed something, but can't seem to find this function on this player

Storage & Time

I have a lot of video I wanna upload. Most of them are SD (not HD) and lower. With my plan I get (I think its 500gb). But it also says 5 hours of video. So do I get 5 hours of video and that video can only take up 500gb or do i get 5 hours of HD video and more hours for SD and lower? Or is it another story? SD = lower than 720p HD =720p and higher

Another feature to add

The Wix video app with its rent, buy, and subscribe features give creators amazing opportunity but for those of us who are to pull in additional revenue. Can we get the option to offer commercial spots before and during our video content. This way I can take my content down from youtube completely and establish my own ad program from my sponsors and redirect my views from youtube to my website. I want to make as much if not more money than what I get paid from youtube now.

This is a really easy way to add video content to a web site. Is there a way to enable looping in some or all of the short videos in a set? How about autoplay?
