Cannot change answer text size

I can change the questions text size in the design tab, but not the answers text size. It needs to be updated with a fix.

I can't reduce the size of my FAQ answers to less than 16px, even though I use sizes of 14 and 12 pixels on my website. I've tried everything.

Loads of room for growth

FAQs can't be added on separate pages. You can't allow just ONE FAQ section for the entire website! And you can't just show ALL sections with FAQS at the same time, it's simply not user-friendly and not customer-friendly. I tried so many things to simply have TWO SEPARATE faqs on two separate pages of my website with no success. Even if there is a way, it shouldn't be this hard to find it.

It works as intended to manage FAQ except it only seems to work on the website. The whole thing disappeared on the cellphone view. This is very disappointing. Wish that I knew this. Most of the people will access this information on their phones. I created this FAQ for ease of use and whenever they need it. Now I have to find an alternative

Just another half-a$$ed Wix app

The only benefit to this app is that you can manage FAQs in Dashboard instead of in Editor, otherwise you'd be much better off using an Accordion element if you are looking for more design flexibility, but you'd then have to manage your FAQs by editing your website. You could create a CMS collection for FAQs and then connect a Repeater element to your CMS collection to display them on your site, which would give you the most design flexibility, and you could manage your FAQs in Dashboard > CMS. You can also use the Selection Tags element (Add Element > Input) with the Repeater to allow the user to filter FAQs. Another note; you'd have to use Velo code to make the FAQs collapsible in a Repeater. This app also does not generate FAQ schema markup, which you'd think it would, being the Wix FAQ app. The Accordion doesn't either, but the "collapsible list" in blog posts does! Google no longer shows FAQs, however other search engines do. I decided to use CMS.

Please offer more layout options

Unfortunately I can't adjust the spacing around the FAQ section, the FAQ app makes what it wants when you publish the site. Also I would like to present the categories in an different way - this is not possible. On smartphone the categories are shown as a dropdown menu, where I can't adjust the colors regarding accessibility. The dropdown menu for categories would also be nice for desktop and tablet but you can't select that.

Caution when used with other apps...

Works fine unless other apps get in the way - then it uninstalls.

The text animation— cannot modify that the text slides from the bottom to the top.

I recently added the Wix FAQ app, and while the platform itself offers a wide range of customization options, I ran into some frustration with its FAQ text transitions. Specifically, the default text animation—where the answers slide in from the bottom to the top. Bottom line: I don't like it. It creates a sense of delay that distracts from the experience. What’s more concerning is that there's no obvious setting to modify the transition effect. I spent a good amount of time looking through the options and chatting with the Wix Customer Service team. No solution. This raises the question: is it a glitch in the app, or is it simply an oversight in the app development?

Need the ability to control the apps padding directly

Currently you cannot control the padding for the iframe that the app generates with FAQ's - this makes managing alignments with other page elements and sections a bit of a nightmare.

Can not add/edit multiple FAQs

No option to edit multiple FAQs. Have to do it one by one. Should allow to add FAQ's using a csv file or let enter multiple FAQs in a textbox which are separated by new line or something.

It only has 12 questions and answers but it opens after 3 seconds. I understand other people have this problem too. in brief; too slow when the page is loading. I can't use it like this

Doesn't work with Collections

When are Wix (particularly Studio) going to move away from this archaic method of insisting such apps don't fully connect with the Wix Studio eco-system, and are controlled instead by their own widget, which are generally always very limited and not setup to work for responsive design. Surely such apps should be able to connect to a Collection and the design and settings left up to the user via the standard Wix Studio design panel? As a Studio user I now need (and expect) full control on such elements.

One big problem

1. I was happy to have discovered the FAQ app, as it finally made collapsible answers possible 2. I also discovered that I can add the faq app to different webpages and by selecting which faqs are displayed, I have individual faqs on each page. 3. But now I have encountered a big problem: 3.1. We all know that speed is very important and oversized webpages become too slow. 3.2. And now I realized that on every webpage all FAQs are loaded, even if only one FAQ is displayed. So if I have FAQs on 20 webpages, it seems that all 20 FAQs are loaded on each individual webpage, of which only 1 is displayed. This means that each page has a volume of thousands of words. In addition, there could be problems with duplicate content. Is my analysis correct? What does the Wix team say? Is there a workaround? Thank you in advance for your reply!

Love the App HOWEVER it is not loading

Spent a lot of time putting content into the app - love that. HOWEVER it does not load quickly and on some pages does NOT LOAD at all! This is embarrassing especially since the client is a doctor who must provide important information to patients. Please update, increase speed, and reliability. Otherwise, let us know if we have to switch to a non-Wix application. Sad to have to redo all the great content inside the faqs.

Not updating properly

Managed to set up a FAQ the way I wanted it. However the QAs are not updating properly when previewing in main language. Unable to figure out how to translate in second language.

Looks really nice but not SEO optimisable

Free, easy to use but Google can't search the FAQ which means it's a big miss for SEO and really needs work. Will not be using it until this is fixed.

Looking to add ADDITIONAL FAQ pages

I installed the application for my FAQ page, but now I need to add another FAQ with different questions and answers without affecting my original FAQ on my original installation. Every time I try to install it, the original questions show up, and if I try to change the questions and answers, it changes the questions and answers on my FAQ page.

Le mode fonctionne, mais des choses manques. Pourquoi passer par une appli quant on pourrait configurer des menus déroulants intégrant ce que l'on désire ? Impossible de faire une mise en page correcte et poussée, telle que les couleurs des mots par exemple. Donc très limité.

Can't edit questions

It keeps loading on the Content Manager page for more than 15mins, and I am still unable to enter the page to edit my questions

Updated app needs alphabetical sorting + extra bits.

Need to sort in alphabetical A-Z and Z-A and by Recently added order in the Dashboard > FAQ question magement page and also in the actual WIx FAQ app when added to a page - I need to be able to choose the order which the Categories show up. And increase the Dashboard > FAQ page loading and performance. Also add a Gogole Drive or OneDrive backup service to backup all the quesitons and answers and categories since they are not backed up in Wix Backups and allow for manual backups via Import and Export as we have added a ton of Q and As. Once thats in place it will be a great app - thats why a lot are complaining. Also Wix APP loading time on the web pages should be faster. Also I need to be able to manage all FAQ's on a mobile device via the Wix Owner app with full rich text editing capabilities. I actually use the Wix FAQ app on every page at the bottom of the page to spill over bout the services for each store collection so it needs to look professional and fast loading.

The app disappear

This app worked fine until today. I discover that all the content of the app still exist on the wix owner site but in the editor everything disappeared, even the app settings.

Looks good, but does not work on Tablet or Mobile

I just installed the App for the first time. Have not even entered any content, but everything seemed to work fine. Unfortunately this is only the case on Desktop Breakpoint. It simply does not display on Tablet or Mobile, which is an aboslute dealbreaker.

having the same problem others are today

This is a great idea but it's now only showing up as the form "how to make an FAQ'" questions even though when i click to manage questions, i see all my old copy that i had input. What gives?

No multilingual support is ridiculous

Not being able to add different versions of the FAQ for the different languages of the website is very bad. Get you s*** together Wix.

I saw on your website that it seems to be more customers having the same problem. Bugs for over a month now with no follow up from WIX

We have been experiencing bugs for over a month and have contacted WIX customer care with no solution to date. We are unable to manage/edit FAQs from within the editor and every time a user clicks on a link to open a document via our FAQ they receive an 'unauthorized' error

WHAT HAPPENED TO YESTERDAY?

Yesterday, While testing the website everything was running as designed and developed. Today, Is a completely different story, I receive a notification from my client that shocked me since they were not able to see the category specific items as intended...is there a resolution for this? I think this app has tons of potential for growth but right now this doesn't make sense.

App changed, and now there is no way to change the header

:( items disappeared, but can still appear if edited with categories. However there doesn't seem to be a way for me to edit the fonts and colour of the categories and the header :(

FAQ not showing the questions written.

It is constantly showing something different to what's been written. Needs to be fixed.

Use for Multiple FAQ app on different Pages ?

Worked fine on one page but tried to add another FAQs to another page and keep getting error messages / server errors - are you only allowed to use it once on a wix site? Not have multiple FAQs on different pages?

Nice when it works; Malfunctioning...

I really liked the app, especially for the hide and show function, until I saw it malfunctioned today and there is no way to fix it at the moment. I will need to find another solution for displaying my info.
