Does not make any sense

These forms slap themselves on the cover of your website with no explanation to why and where you can put it on a separate page. I would love to be able to have my clients pay for a service request instantly without me having to approve and submit payment requests however, the "Wix Forms" make it irrelevant to use with no way to place it in a designated spot. It was a waste of time.

Forms lack essential features

I need customization capability such as adding subscription and donation buttons to our forms. We do not want site members and I dislike that we cannot remove the site member signup. Despite our expensive Wix account, we must use 3rd party options to provide us with sufficient services to compensate for Wix's poor functioning.

Sends out additional confirmation emails to customers. Wix support says: This can't be switched off or modified at the moment. Lost for words.

Incredibly bad.

Practically no customization besides of looks - simple fields are available but nothing more. Attachments - available in "premium plan" but the field is far from being flexible - 4 sets of allowed attachments and that's it, no way to customize what attachment types I'd want exactly. Date fields - yeah you can pick a date, that is all - no possibility to set a date range to be picked, ie Start: Today+7, End Today + 30, or whatever.

We've been using this app for registration form submissions for our clinic, which requires serious time-sensitivity; clients call us when their pets are nearing the end, so that we can come to their houses and perform an in-home euthanasia. We've encountered a number of issues, none of which have been resolved, all of which heavily affect our business and communications. 1. Some inputs on required fields are deleted by the time we receive them, for instance, address fields. Despite being required to fill these out before they can submit and customers confirming they did, content in these fields are randomly deleted. Other fields in the same form will be fine. 2. Sometimes forms just don't come through. We've done many tests and it /seems/ to be servers going down. This is a gigantic issue for us and our clients. Sometimes forms come through but emails won't be sent as usual, meaning we aren't notified. Using this app has been a struggle for us /and/ our clients.

Terrible & Disfunctional

Forms/Payments are not consistently functional across different devices and browsers. This is not a difficult functionality--unacceptable

I have now used the standalone and website version of this app and both problematic from the customer facing side. such a shame as when it works which is 50% of the time its brilliant but hopeless the rest really need these to work - essential to me business

Doesn't work

I tried several times to add it to my site but it doesn't want to go :-) It remains pending even after the process of adding is completed successfully.

Directions are not up to date....

I created the form and clicked add to site. It gives a pop up that says to "add exisiting fomr" through the 'add app" yet there NOTHING THAT SAYS ADD EXISTING FORM! Useless and frustrating as hell!

Your basic app for me is perfect BUT VERY concerned after reading all these negative comments. If you push an app for your business you'd better make d sure it works properly or people will start leaving Wix in droves. Will write another review after testing.

Terrible

Our clients encounter a lot of 403 errors. Have reached out to wix and they were able to complete for forms on their end and told us nothing was wrong. Problem still exists

status code 403 and 429 for no reasons

For days I having 403 and 429 status codes for all of my form submissions at one of my site. It is driving me crazy how a simple thing cannot operate reliably.

So many problems

There are so many problems if you want to do some very basic functions. I've contacted Wix Customer Care several times. This app is not ready for general use.

Rolling Reserve is horrible

As someone that has sold over 1 million dollars through wix sites. I can tell you without a doubt their rolling reserve policy can sink your business. Chargebacks are going to happen, people are say they didnt buy or receive something of someone used a stolen credit card to make an order. It happens. What wix will eventually do because they dont trust you is withholding 10% of each transaction upwards of 90 days. Add that with the 3+% for just accepting the payment and your total money transferred to your bank account just had 13-14% taken from you. If you are new to that can you survive knowing you are short that kind of money on every transaction? You eventually get your 10% back in random deposits. I would much rather wix use my CC on file if there is ever a chargeback rather than hold 10% of every single sale for 90 days. but that's not an option. Why not? My money be held in wix's rolling reserve sometime exceeds $3K to $4K

Once you see the hidden fees & lack of willingness to work with you when issues arise. Make sure your Wix Payment feature is turned off or you will get hit with charges.

It's so much frustrating on standalone forms !!!

We pay premium price to get rid of the branding.. But you need 1 simple form and it says "Powered by Wix". So why did you charge us ? Same goes to email add ons, and many more necessary details.. Premium is premium. You can't sell business class ticket and than charge for the water !

Glitchy to the point of being unuseable

This has to be the worst app I've ever used on Wix. Terribly glitchy and most importantly, a complete waste of time.

Terrible client can not open it...

Was working well and march 2024 several client cna not open it. With a support saying... This is a problem on your computer and ask your client to do this and that !!! They do not want to manage correctly their product. Lost hours to try to discuss with them and reputation with clients which see that in the beginning of our relation things does not work. Now i do form through a landing page.

Probably due to some incompatibility when the form is embedded in a popup window, the form stops working. I have already contacted the customer service countless times, and they did not help me solve the problem yet. I have been waiting for a solution to the problem for almost 3 weeks. that's unbelievable.

At least two weeks now and still not being directed to checkout!

I've used the wix forms & payments before and no problem with being directed to check out. Now it doesn't work at all even with the supposed workaround which I tried. Pointless structure and you do not get any notification

It is possible for website visitors to contact the website operator and the contact details are also stored in the contacts, but without the content from the form! Isn't that the point of a form or am I seeing it wrong? You can view the submissions, but the overview is very cluttered, has no filter function (seriously?!) and is in my opinion kind of hidden ... Of course you can set up an automation to be notified by e-mail, for example. But that means you're constantly using up your monthly e-mail allowance. Maybe a crazy idea, but how about creating a good interface for it, for example as a tab in the individual contact view?

This app has the tag "Free apps", but in the list of my installed apps it has a button "Upgrade Site" in front of this app, even though I have a premium subscription. So is it free or not?

Le formulaire de contact ne fonctionne pas meme en version test, un message d'erreur apparait en permanence ! De plus, mes échanges avec une personne du service client presque insultante m'ont fait perdre 1h à effectuer des manipulations sans aucun rapport avec le problème ! i can't control wix form collection any more !! can't add fields or delete fields or edit permissions for wix form collections , i don't know what's wrong , the cms section become full of zero data collections , i cant even delete !!
